Think about how much hatred they have for Trump, yet given all of their extreme efforts, Trump won 2 of the last 3 presidential elections while biden had ice cream all over his face, wandered the White House lawn aimlessly, and literally fell on his face during his whole term. Oh but "Trump stumbled once!!! " This is the current day democratic party. They seriously need a 12 step program to get themselves out of the life they are living these past many years. How they don't wake up every day feeling embarrassed is simply mind blowing.

I wish it went the other way around but I'm not surprised by it. Unless the Cubs get better at pitching they aren't a WS contender in my eyes. It sucks they lost Steele for the year and Imanaga for much of it but things are the way they are. I like Detroit a lot, but it's a long way to the playoffs. One thing the Cubs have going for them is that they have played over half their games so far against the NL West, LA, SF, SD, Arizona, and also against NYM, Detroit, and Philadelphia. So they are battle tested and still 15 games over .500. If they can reel in a pitcher or two from non contenders, then their current back end starters can go to the pen with a bunch of experience this season. But again, it's a long season. 16 games still until the break. And the Cubs are in a stretch of 26 games in 27 days. Yikes. Cubs in Phlthy tonight. Detroit goes to Baltimore tomorrow.
