    Dalvin Cook

I'm buying on cook, drafted him at 7 spot in a 12 team snake, got tyreek hill in 2nd. If I would have taken a WR instead, cook wouldn't have been there in the 2nd. I'm happy, any wr available at 7 was just as good as Hill in the 2nd. Remember Tyrell Davis? With the Denver blocking scheme in Minnesota, cook will produce! Crossing fingers on health...
  2. you have a tough one here. I would go with Hester. I agree that the players are similar but Cutler is the superior QB and the Bears playing against the Vikes twice and the Packers twice mean playing from behind so they will have to air it out. Playing against the Lions twice means easy pickins.

    First Pick 12 Team Keeper

what is your scoring system? What pick do you have? Can't really go wrong w/Fitz since you already have a solid RB

    Pick up EDGE?

Depends on how many teams in your league. For a 10 or 12 team league I think you can do better. When he plays I assume it will be RBBC w/ J. Jones. I am also very concerned about LT Walter Jones being out for a while and being in football shape when he does come back. Let someone else pull the trigger on this one.

    Huge trade, need advice

10 team PPR redraft. My roster: Schaub Edwards MJD C. Johnson Gore Ray Rice Cedric Benson A. Gonzales V. Jackson L. Coles Driver V. Shiance B. Celek Longwell Dallas Starters = Shaub, MJD, C. Johnson, Gore (RB/WR flex) A. Gonzales, V. Jackson, Shiancoe, Longwell, Dallas I am being offered Peyton Manning, Willie Parker, and Boldin for MJD, Shaub, and Driver. Starters would be Manning, C. Johnson, Gore, Rice (flex) Boldin, Gonzales, Shiancoe, Longwell, Dallas It would be an upgrade for me at QB and WR where I am weak and I am stocked at RB. However, I'm struggling w/giving up MJD. Please advise.

    Vote for the #4 RB

Williams. won't get the receptions but how many of those "others" will score 12-15 TD's? Williams scored 20 TD's while only coming on the 2nd half of last season. If you think he can score 20 again that translates into the equivelant of 12-15 TD's and 30-48 receptions. Not bad. I think he can get to 20 again if he gets the majority of the work. Stewart will be used to spell him but I believe that Williams is the main guy and they can't help but feed him the ball!

Best of the 2nd Round RB's!

Completely agree, this thread is insane

    Peterson vs. MJD vs. ?

Thankyou, thankyou Gepetto! I am really wrestling with this one and you are my first reply w/approx 137 views. I would have thought more people would be wondering the same and I'm looking for some good advice. Draft tomorrow night. Probably going w/MJD

    Peterson vs. MJD vs. ?

I am lucky (I think) to have the first pick of a 10 team PPR league. I've never played in a PPR scoring system before. I am leaning toward MJD because he does it all (catches, goal line, etc.) and probably won't share too much of the load. However, the addition of Farve to the MN offense makes me think AD will see fewer 8 man fronts and perhaps log a few more receptions. I'm a little concerned that Chester Taylor is much more capable of stealing stats from AD than anybody taking them from MJD. Perhaps there is another option I should seriously think about? Please advise

I did three 10 team mocks tonight...

Nate, I love this topic. I am in two leagues this year and both are 10 team. I like the discussion on LT as I still don't know where I want to rank him. I have been frustrated by the "haters" on this site so that's why I don't post often. Don't let the ba#$%ards keep you down!

    Favre To Stay Retired

Thanks for the post wiffleball. As a Vikes fan, I am just glad it's over. The debacle over when or if Farve was going to report was growing old and should be fading away now. I would have been okay with it if he joined the team but the circus would have been guaranteed to continue for another year. I think we will receive improved QB play this year whoever wins the job. And that is our ticket to keeping 8 man fronts away from AD. Now just waiting for Percy to sign...

    Drafting both Fitz AND Boldin?

I would love to have both those guys on my team! They are legitimate studs. I believe they won't go to complete crap if Leinart has to come in. I don't worry about by weeks when picking players of that caliber, worry about covering those with later picks. That being said, look at other options at that pick, if one of those guys is on the board there are likely other good WR's worth a look. When investing you want to diversify for a reason.

Looking for a site to run my league

I remember the old 3 subject notebook days working out of the box score. I don't miss those days I choose to use RT Sports with the leagues I run. Yes it is simplistic, but that has its advantages. I really like the archive feature as one of my leagues has been around for a long time with most of the same owners. What others have said about the staff responding promptly is very true. As a commissioner I have contacted them several times and always had a quick and helpful reply. That is the type of service that has earned my loyalty. I wish it was cheaper though so more of our $ would go into the purse, but you get what you pay for. I played on a free site last year and though adequate, it was not as user friendly and didn't have as many options.
