Defund the police is never ever going to happen. That is a red herring constantly thrown out there. The government isn't abandoning us and people aren't buying AR-15s in order to protect against government leaving. Trained professionals are cops. A 17 year old kid is just that- a kid. The issue is not being on a public street. You know that. C'mon man. Stop trying to conflate things

People here are more conservative so I used that as an example and did not specify that I thought Rittenhouse was a conservative. yes he can't vote he's only 17. Also why I'm not cool with championing him as a person i want carrying AR-15s around and playing cop or jury. Lots of conservatives and liberals know how to shoot guns. Shooting a gun does not indicate political leaning per se.

Turn the complete scenario around I said- do you not know how to read? No wonder you hate schools so much. Again- a liberal person person shooting a conservative person in the same manner for the same reason you would not be celebrating. Or hell a black guy shooting a white guy for the same reason would not be celebrated by you.

Vigilante justice is different than the scenarios you all are describing but it doesn't surprise me considering so many here have proven time and again they don't know basic definitions of words let alone a complex concept. And again- if roles were reversed here and a liberal kid shot a conservative person (for the same reason) I guarantee people would not be here defending it. I guarantee I would still be saying maybe we shouldn't be championing 17 year old kids with AR-15s and we should control praising vigilante justice.

Vigilante justice is not how society works. It isn't your business to go protect other things and you would not have known the person was a pedophile in the moment.

Someone was whining earlier because a person died at the insurrection after being shot by an officer- the way the stuff is supposed to work. I've offered plenty of scenarios that go into factors of decisions here. That was met with "If there is a left person on the jury who is loud that side wins." That's just silly.

That is not true in any way. You guys like to claim I am a leftist and I'm not okay with political violence. I want guilty to be punished as well- just by cops and people trained and not 17 year old kids with God complexes, or goofy redneck dudes who think the amount of guns they own define them. Whether I agree with government mandates or not, I understand why they exist. Also, no problem with a private employer mandating their employees get vaccines. It's their business and they can do as they see fit. People should be allowed to be what they want to be. But yeah- pushing it on a kid who has not hit puberty does strike me as silly. Also, I think it's fine to treat people who want to do it as normal. If I have a best friend named Brad and all of a sudden he wants to be Brandy- nothing changed about my friendship with them. Identity politics work for both sides- the lefts racial issue divide is the rights blue collar vs white collar divide. It's all dumb and people are stupid on both sides for falling for it. As to this thread- there are far too many people who think "This is just self defense." It isn't that simple."
