I could lose 10 pounds. I eat right most of the time and exercise seven days a week. Hit he gym Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Run 5-8 miles Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

I like red wine, so that's a bit of a killer for me, although my happy-hour drink is a vodka tonic with diet tonic. That's like 100 calories.

I think you’re perfect just the way you are

I'm 5'9 165 lbs and not over weight now. Curious do we have any fatties that are 50 lbs over weight or more ? Summers coming and time to show those dad bodies.

I’m very overweight at the moment. I’m 6’1” 205 and look like a fat slob. Need to get back down to 185

"Inflation can be blamed for part of it, but that’s not the whole story behind the skyrocketing prices. The price increases started in early 2020, when people were panic buying because of the pandemic. Prices continued to rise in the soda industry thanks to the cost of aluminum increasing. According to Reuters in an early 2021 report, the cost of aluminum climbed about 60% over the course of a year. "

There are some other factors here.

For example, as family budgets get tighter, some things like cord cutting or cancelling gym memberships has become quite commonplace.

The Mulvaney situation might not be the full reason for all the losses, but could have operated as the tipping point for some consumers already hit with "sticker shock" to rising costs. Beer is a luxury. It's not a staple. If a family has to pick eggs and milk or beer and snack foods, well they are going to go for the staples.

A major selling point for Bud Light was, relative to some other options, it was cheap. When it stops being cheap, then you start to see some dynamics change. When 12 packs become 8 packs, if it changes like with soda, then people make adjustments.

For example, Unilever can say some pretty harsh woke political things that piss people off, but if it's Hellman's mayonnaise, it won't take much for people to flee. The price of mayo has skyrocketed in the past few years.

Put it this way, the losses are likely a range of complex situations all coming at once, but clearly AB is operating outside of a practical margin of error here. This is another "factor" that didn't need to happen. It was self inflicted.

This is like when your favorite NFL franchise hires a new GM. You don't know if he'll make the team better or not, but the baseline expectation is that he doesn't make it worse. You don't want a GM who consistently takes bad situations and keeps making them worse and worse for no good reason at all. Whatever losses that will happen are self inflicted and didn't have to happen. There's no reason why people should make their own jobs harder for zero return. And that's what happened here.

    1) Alcohol is recession proof

    2) bud light is already dirt cheap

    3) The GM of my team is Howie Roseman

Bud Light is down 20% because of the tranny debacle, plain and simple.

That being said, I do like Anacott Steel, so thank  you for that laugh 👍

    Disagree.

Who will be Trump’s VP pick?

Will a completely emasculated DeSantis do it? Would he go full all the way to 11 nuts with MTG? Hottie from a tiny state with 12 people in it, Noem? Other??

If I’m DeSantis, take the VP nom. Better than nothing and run in 2028 when Trump can’t stand in your way

These are the same posters in the Disney thread who are arguing that Disney not being able to show movies in a 2.6 billion dollar market isn't a big deal either.

I hope none of these guys are accountants, investment bankers or stock traders for anyone else but themselves.  They really need to stay away from any jobs that involve math and risk.

I think they’re are a couple executive assistants here that bring coffee and donuts into the conference room on occasion though

I don't care how people spend their money.  I don't let stupid things like that affect what I do though.  I'm tired of the cancel culture and being offended by everything.  That use to be what the right stood for but now they have joined the left.  It's crazy how similar they've become.

It’s not cancel culture when one group of people decides to stop spending their own money on a certain brand/product.

After everything has happened it's easy to say it was a bad idea.

Well, that’s where the consequences come in to play. When you make bad decisions, there are consequences. My parents taught me this just around the same time they taught me how to tie my shoelaces.

Pretty much.  They weren't the first company to miss and they won't be the last.

So you have no problem seeing them suffer the consequences of their actions? I thought you said we all needed to “grow up” and “stop crying”. I’m confused now 🤷‍♂️

Wait. You mean this was all about money for Bud Light? I thought they were just trying to show love to the trans community 🤷‍♂️

I guess the marketing department focked up then. Sad that they pay  their marketing executives millions of $$$  and couldn’t see this happening. I wonder if the highly paid execs at other billion $ corporations are paying attention 🤷‍♂️

Oh shiot. We just go rob Gucci when we needs clothes now? I feel like a sucker now for dropping $25 on those tshirts I purchased at Target 2 weeks ago. 🙈

Of course they knew that.  It was a very specific demographic they targeted.  This wasn't some major marketing campaign with ads on TV or something like that.  People are acting like it was though.

They knew they didn’t need the ads for this one. Send the Tranny the personalized can and let him/her do it’s thing on tiktok or whatever. That’s what happened and here we are

You may want to double check this.  From what I read, it was a single can that was gifted to Dylan to celebrate his year anniversary of transitioning to a woman.  If I'm wrong then let me know.

They had no idea that the Tranny, with millions of followers, would share this with the world? Geez, I never received a personalized can from Bud Light  to celebrate the “milestones” in my life
