It’s a ridiculously good result - not a “desired effect”. Biden’s February 2024 illegal border crossings were 140,841. Trump’s February 2025 number was 8,326.

Do you care to comment on the fact that only 8,450 people were arrested crossing the border last month? It’s the lowest level since 2000, and perhaps even the 1960’s. Trump shut the border down air-tight - something Biden insisted was impossible for the Executive to do.

I’m fine with everything he is doing. Shame on us for not doing anything about the ridiculous trade imbalance all these years. The trade-off is that we’ll have more goods manufactured in the country, and that’s a good thing from a jobs and national security standpoint. The downside is we may face higher prices on imported goods. That’s one trade I’m willing to make.
