  1. I can see your point but bad decisions and lack of enforcement in immigration is not a valid justification for violence, persecution, and further illegality. If the R's ever wanna tamp down the dems in MN they really need to stop doubling down on egregious stupidity. But I get you and I will probably never agree on this. Skol!
  2. The leader of the movement not only has the market cornered on those qualities, but is also so fat oversized heavy plump chubby corpulent abundant that nobody else will fit!
  3. I'd argue that yes, it is different. Newsom is a virulent narcissist in his own right, and you won't catch me defending him, but he's also not the POTUS, not responsible for global foreign policy, levying tariffs, or making national agreements with the Chinese, and sure as fock never locked the American media out during the visit. It is possible for Newsom and cockwomble to both be shitstains, which seems to be the case.
  4. LOL. HT2 still bringing hilarity. Is this what they call an anti-manifesto?
  5. LOL. None of the MAGAs are in lockstep with MAGA, but all the libs are brainwashed commies! At least you're being truthful about putting yourself above all other considerations. I most assuredly will not. Nor will I forget the swastika he posted and deleted. I've got a screen shot for posterity. Just because I was playing nice for a couple hours yesterday doesn't mean I don't revile 3rd grade level, 3rd-person dropping, thrice-banned Horsemanure.
  6. Despite your jab at the end, I appreciate your post. You should try being a normal human more often. It suits you. I think I knew you were pro-choice, but like some others around here, you probably announced it like you fully support libs killing their babies. So it's nice to know you're not in 100% lockstep with R's. No talking heads giving me their opinions. I hate that. IDGAF about opinions; if I want them, I'll read the op-eds. I prolly shoulda been more clear: I want background facts, not just surface level. Talking heads that are experts in the fields being discussed is great. For a simple example, if Iran is being discussed, I want an ex-diplomat that lived in Iran giving me their analysis on politics and population on the ground. Then an Iranian military expert or a retired American general, or former Energy secretary examining effects on worldwide supply and fallout. Not some dipshit that's going to tell me why {insert political party} is stupid for {insert partisan reason}.
  7. Since you're actually being a reasonable human in the above: Nightly network news is a format that lends itself to a lack of nuance. They get the facts right, but it's usually just the facts, which is fine if that's what you're looking for. I watch very little tv news unless there's a big breaking story, like when Kirk was killed or DHS was deployed in Mpls. I always find it interesting when people claim they use different sources, yet consistently come down on the same political side of every argument. Volty, SuperMike, and Jerry seem to be able to at least give lip service to things they don't like about our current admin. Others, notsomuch.
  8. might be less stoopid than me. Sounds reasonable.
  9. Aaaahh, I see. You're taking a MORAL stand. Thanks for clearing that up. Let me know how cleaning up this cesspool's contingent of amoral jagoffs goes for ya. I'm in your corner!
  10. You'll not find me defending DSA or voting for them. I'll try to dig more into your AfD claims, but color me skeptical. I'm not surprised their official website would tamp down some of their more extreme stances, but ignoring what I've read about them, I'll just say I'm comfortable in aligning against them based simply on who is advocating for them. A who's who of white nationalist fascist scumbags. You have me confused with someone else, I think. I can't stand Flanagan and the only thing I remember saying about Tafoya was that I'd consider voting for her if she wasn't MAGA-aligned and that before Trump, I would have left that line on my ballot blank. Well, Tafoya IS MAGA, so it's a non-starter. Flanagan will get my vote. At least she's not DSA.
  11. Honestly I'm not sure I'd drop any of them for Loveland right now. But I stoopid.
  12. I'm referring to actual people, not emotionally, intellectually and ideologically crippled focktards. Strike loses the best of himself during his morning dump.
  13. LOL. Yeah, you had some real skin in the game in that low dollar family/friends league you had nothing to do with, huh? CHEATED, I tells ya!
  14. I was so pissed when Loveland got sniped in my draft right before I was going to take him. Instead, I took Kyle Pitts. I wouldn't drop Boston for Loveland at this point. But it's been clearly established that when it comes to FF this season, I'm a hopeless idiot.
  15. Thanks. You know I hold you in high regard, despite loathing some of the stuff you post. To the bolded: it's a 2-way street. The opposite side of that coin is that you vote with and for racists, homophobes, fascists, fraudsters, and oligarchs. By your own definition, I could accuse you of having those same views. I know you don't. Can you show the same grace me and some of the other vile GC libs give you?
  16. Twatadour only knows what Fox and the EIB network place directly in front of his face. Discussion with him is useless, although reading his posts can at times be highly entertaining. Like how he's terrified to come to MN because the libs and Somalis will take turns munching on him like a pack of zombies. We shamble the streets here together, don'tchaknow? I caught a snippet of Fox News this morning. They were talking about: you guessed it, men competing in women's sports. Perfect insight into what HT will be talking about today.
  17. Thank you. This explains why you're one of the more level headed and honest righties posting here. And speaking of bias, Yahoo rings that bell. Not in their aggregated stuff, that's solid. But things coming directly from Yahoo are pretty left-friendly, in my experience.
  18. So THIS is an example of the good ol' days? A multipage slapfight over a single FF season with walls of text and namecalling, people taking sides not because of the details, but based solely on how they feel about the posters having the fight, then trolling them while they continue to fight. Boy, the FBG's sure did a number on this place. Those bastards really lowered the discourse around here, huh?
  19. I'm not keeping a notebook, so grain of salt, but IIRC @Voltaire is the only righty here that has openly admitted to where he gets his information (other than ToK and HT, who openly admit to things like PJ Media and Breitbart, which are highly biased). @jerryskids has mentioned he checks multiple sources but (again IIRC) did not mention names. I think we've all agreed at least that reporters and newsrooms have inherent biases, and sometimes those biases result in a lack of coverage of certain stories, or a specific slant on how they're reported. So I'll ask again: where do the righties get their news, and given it's nearly unanimous among them that the MSM is filled with LIARS, how can you be sure that your news sources aren't doing the same to you?
  20. Enjoy! Not sure about the fishing but you might run into some crappy weather Saturday. Sunday looks fantastic.
  21. Unfortunately, your example of "our only hope" also decided to unleash an illegal, unconstitutional, quasi-fascist army on the streets of several of our cities and is now deeply reviled by everyone not beholden to right wing media. I have a lot of friends in the Cities that were never particularly political in the past. Listening to them now, I'm practically MAGA comparatively. I may have tepidly agreed with you at one point; the DFL is a smoking crater of failure and has done immense damage to this state. But the last 10 years have shown us that the only solution the R's have is to destroy everything in their path with zero solutions as to how to improve the lives of anyone that has less than an 8-figure net worth. DeMuth and Tafoya aren't going to change that.
  22. Weepaws' lord is one I have no interest in. I'm hoping this is you making a joke and not forgetting a stone cold NWOBHM classic.
  23. You'll get few, if any answers. I've asked plenty of people in the GC that question. IF it gets answered, it's usually a rote "I get it from lots of places" with few names. What's cute is that the WSJ is a right leaning paper owned by the Murdochs, and I never hear libs complain about bias in their reporting. They're top notch. But the NYT? LIBERAL RAG DERP
  24. Yes I am!
