Kamala Harris worst polling numbers for any VP... EVER

Rent gouging is a byproduct of Bidenomics. Everything the landlord provides and covers has gone up 15-20%, so the rent naturally does as well.

Surely there are studies out there backing this up right?

Tennessee City Has Banned Being Gay In Public

I blame lawyers for this. Probably outdated wording, but the obvious intent was to ban sexual acts in public. Anyone who can't see that has an agenda. -
The Real Truther is pretty bad at math. If 47% of poll respondents say they know someone who died of covid, that doesn't equate to 155 Million American deaths.

Ex-NHL player Adam Johnson dies after reportedly suffering neck injury during game

That is sad and scary. T&P. I think the guy in red tried to impede Johnson getting to the net and threw himself at him. -
Then this idea fails at the Federal level because of Mexico gun laws and the lack of border enforcement. Guns are still making into the country and only in the hands of the worst of the worst.

I think the WNBA team would beat 90% of high school boys teams. A "State championship" caliber team would absolutely smoke a WNBA team.... like Clay said.

Wealth inequality is at an all time high. Record poverty. Record credit card debt. Home affordability is the lowest in 40 years. Every one of these continue to trend in the wrong direction under Biden.

Yeah, but its the same line of thinking of blaming Indiana for Chicago's murder rate. It's never made sense to me.
-
Why would you say this?
-
no, you're just conflating things. An AR is a model gun that can be chambered in like 10 different calibers. So that is about 10 different levels of "powerful" coming from that weapon alone. Depending what gun you use to shoot each caliber, an AR may be more powerful for some and less powerful than others.

An AR is a model, 22 and 9 are calibers.

Yeah silly me. A 40 hour workweek is basically the new black lung. -

No, your "progress" example was people being phased out of their jobs. Its not good for them. -

And then complain about those jobs being too tough. Perfect circle. -

Yeah, pretty sure all those coal miners were laid off. Thank goodness for that. -
I also assume everyone in Maine is a white guy with a beard

And we see how well they handled Covid.

I think the theory is that you make more money when the business improves. It's not the case everywhere, but as someone who works hiring actions I'm confident when I say that if you give the employee a choice of taking more time off or getting a pay increase as a reward, the pay increase is the clear winner. I think the generation wants to work less and get paid the same and that just isn't a reality for a lot of companies. -

If you can work remotely and a company is still forcing you to come in, it may be time to look for a new position. If no one is willing to come into work the company will adjust. If they find someone to fill that opening it's the nature of the business. -
Gun homicide violence is a pretty isolated problem once you boil down the stats.

Totally agree with you here. This is a difficult situation to navigate and we should be doing a lot better on this front. Again I just see it as another area that we're all too divided on to make any real progress. Mental health in America is falling fast and we're in standby mode.

I'd agree depending on the context used. Someone who is a serious threat should have their access to a gun reviewed/restricted. Our society has developed a bad habit of taking everything literally. I'd personally never make a statement about shooting someone or something up, however there are people who say dumb things in that context that aren't real threats. I wouldn't support taking their guns away because they are idiots. A kid at my daughter's middle school was just suspended for 3 weeks for "making death threats" after he said he was going to kill one of his friends after they had an altercation in gym class. These are they type of scenarios that just ruin the whole process for people who would be willing to buy in. I'm not trying to make this a liberal vs conservative thing, but I do feel that the liberal crowd needs to pick and choose their battles better. When everything is a problem, nothing is a problem. I could actually get behind some forms of gun control and gun reform in theory, but hell no I'm not going to loosen the reigns to an ideology that goes too far with things on the regular.
