None of that matters. Gas is down a little but it’s still way up from where it was in February. It will likely increase tomorrow and it will continue to rise. It may fluctuate, up a little, down a little, but in general it will stay way up from February. That’s the key and eventually it will affect jobs as well. This is not an argument I’m making, it’s simply the laws of economics. With the strait closed down to shipping we’re focked. It will get worse. Even Trump knows this, it’s why he begged Israel not to retaliate.

In the end, despite all of the talk, all of the arguments put forth by people like @jerryskids who are always offering what they believe to be reasonable objections, the central reason for conservative antipathy to gays, drag queens and trannies comes down to one word. You posted that word.

I dunno. I’d want to consult with a child psychologist before answering you intelligently on what age is proper. My sense is however that while young children should be kept away from violence and horror depictions (mainly because it will give them nightmares) stuff like a drag queen reading to them is harmless. Will it make them at 5 years old want to grow up to be drag queens? Maybe. That’s harmless too; I wanted to be an astronaut.

Normally I don’t respond to your posts but this one is such a fine example of the conspiracy mind: no evidence is offered; instead you just point out something that doesn’t make sense to you and therefore assume there is foul play. It’s the exact opposite of deductive reasoning. Instead of wondering why Ramen is ahead, consider instead what would have had to take place for a fix to happen. This is something that conspiracy folks never do. There are literally hundreds of people involved in counting the votes in Los Angeles. Almost all of these people would have to be involved in the conspiracy. They would have to be willing to sacrifice their integrity and, if caught, serve prison time, just to prevent a Republican mayor. And they would have to swear to secrecy, to never divulge their dishonesty. Nobody could ever tell. When you consider it that way (from the top down instead of the bottom up) you can see why the vast majority of conspiracy theories never pan out.

Sure. Trump (and even before Trump, the anti-immigrant aspect of the modern Republican Party) has really helped Democrats in California. But as you have correctly noted for some time, Dems are expert at focking things up. They are much better critics of government than they are good at actually governing. Once Trump is gone, and especially if Republicans return to the Reagan model, you will see the GOP start to win in California again.

Trump was asked multiple times in the Meet the Press interview just now what evidence he had that California was cheating. He refused to answer. “I know what I see.” This reminds me @TheNewGirl who claimed Newsom would cheat to prevent a Republican governor in California. It reminds me of 2020. It’s the conservative thing these days: when they lose, the other side has to be cheating.

In fact this is the exact opposite of the truth in this country. The vast majority of those who have fought for racial equality have been progressive liberals, whether it was the original Republicans during the Civil War era or liberal Democrats during the Civil Rights movement. There is a reason that 90% of African Americans vote Democrat (I suspect it will be even more in the coming elections). I think you guys know this. You’re lying to yourselves to make you feel better.
