Nothing ugly about it; his knee buckled slightly. Didn't look like much, actually. The end result, though, is we won't see Cruz till 2015.

ESPN stat correction changes game outcome, messes up wavier wire order.
Mack 1 replied to jkil22's topic in FFToday Board
It's not the individual site that makes the correction. The NFL does. I believe they do so every Tuesday, if applicable. So while ESPN's fantasy site may be less than stellar, they have no culpability in this matter. Venom should be spewed toward the league. -
Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans: In-Game Discussion

Can't believe I've been able to stomach looking at Ryan Fitz's sasquatch-like beard for 3 hours. That sh!t looks hideous. -
Seattle is last in our league in scoring. They have only 2 INTs and 6 sacks through 5 games. Not quite what a top notch fantasy defense looks like. I had 'em last season and had no interest in spending the kind of high draft pick necessary this year to get 'em back.
-
Someone in my league dropped him outright today and I picked him up. Mathews--even with his fragility--remains the best RB option for the Chargers. And with Rivers rollin' the way he has so far, Mathews can come back and be a nice addition in the last quarter of the fantasy season.

Thinking about Eli over Matt Ryan. Atlanta's defense is putrid, and their o-line is without 3 starters from training camp, meaning Ryan will be under duress. Plus, Alanta as a whole is a completely different team on the road. This will be my own game time decision.
-
Don't know about that one. Luck spreads the love quite well, plus they tend to favor shorter passes. That explains why out of Luck's 13 TD passes through the first four games, only ONE has gone to a WR. Just one. Says alot about the team's approach to the passing game.
-
Yup. Falcons have lost 3 O-line starters since training camp. I've got my worries, especially on the road. They're horrible away from ATL. I'm thinking about starting Eli against the horrid Falcons defense in that same game this week.

Had him last year and made it a point not to touch him this year. He looks worse than he did in 2013 from a fantasy perspective. And there was a stretch last year when he threw 7 TDs over a 6 game period, and 4 of those came in one game. I would super glue his ass to my bench if I had him.
-
Thought about picking him up 10 minutes before the game started on Thursday as my flex, since half my damn team is on bye. I chose instead to keep Reg Wayne at that spot. Yeah.....oops.

ESPN suspends Bill Simmons for podcast calling Roger Goodell a 'liar'
Mack 1 replied to kilroy69's topic in FFToday Board
Dear SaintsInDome 2006, In today's media-saturated market, as a public figure, it doesn't matter where or when you say something stupid, or to whom you say it. You saying something dumb, it's GONNA come back to bite you. No doubt about it. Signed, Mitt Romney -
ESPN suspends Bill Simmons for podcast calling Roger Goodell a 'liar'

Do not like that little twerp Simmons. He reminds me of an annoying classmate from middle school who I want to punch in the throat. This focker Simmons thinks he knows everything, especially during his time covering the NBA. I hope the World Wide Leader never brings his punk a$$ back. -
Once he's reinstated, he will more than likely miss at least 6 games under the league's new domestic violence policy. Those 6 games will be in addition to the games missed while the court process plays out. No way this guy plays this year. No way.
-
Sounds like a guy that drafted Shady Mccoy or Peterson.
-
This is why my league adopted a rule several years ago that gives us the option of not starting any RBs at all. I went WR heavy early and didn't draft a RB until the 6th round (Gerhart). I know of no better way to address that change in how the NFL does its business now.
-
Benched Garcon for Sproles at the flex. I was chasing last week's points...something I always try to avoid. I just need Antonio Brown to stay under 8 pts. I don't like my odds.

San Diego Chargers Check out their next 5 opponents: @ Buffalo v. Jax v. NYJ @ Oak v. KC Pick 'em up if you're like me and have no dominant defense.

The defense to target for the next month or so.....
Mack 1 replied to Mack 1's topic in FFToday Board
Perhaps. But I'll take my chances with my defense going up against the likes of EJ Manuel, Geno Smith and Alex Smith. Those dudes are certainly prone to tossing the rock to the other team. We'll see. -
Funny how just a couple years ago, there was a debate whether or not he was better than Luck. We may look back and laugh at the Griffin/Luck comparison the way we laugh at the Peyton/Ryan Leaf comparison.

Jake Locker Allen Hurns Justin Forsett Brian Quick Devin Hester Who else?
-
This. I went WR-heavy based on our league rules, and even though I have Dez, Julio, Percy, Garcon, and Reggie Wayne, I'm STILL hanging on to Josh Gordon. Could pay off huge come the last quarter of the fantasy season.
-
New Orleans RBs are frustrating to own. They run those dudes in and out of games so frequently, you have no idea when your player is in there. I drafted Ingram late, but i want no parts of that. I'd never be comfortable starting him. As easily as he can put up 60 yds and 2 scores, he can just as effortlessly put up 15 yds and no scores.

At the end of RG3 and Andrew Luck's rookie season, many talking heads on TV were debating who they'd rather have. Some chose Griffin, some chose Luck. Uh.....yeah. The need for that debate has long been rendered obsolete.

Certainly this elevates E. Sanders, but I'm curious how much of a boost Andre Caldwell and Cody Latimer get.
