Very happy I loaded up on Wilson on the waiver wire this week.

Sports betting is a multi billion dollar industry, and player TD’s is something that’s heavily bet on. I’m not suggesting London is doing anything like tanking, and the first would-be TD could have possibly just been a lack of speed, but we’re talking about an elite NFL WR who had the DB beat by 10 yards. The second made no sense. He had a clear path to a TD around the 20 yard line and cut back towards the defender he had already beaten. It was weird.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist or a London owner in any league, but did anyone else think it looked like he could have totally scored on 2 of his catches, and purposefully slowed up or changed direction to not score?

Put it this way…I’d much rather have Winston throwing to my FF receivers than someone like Mariota.

Does this de-value Giants players from a FF perspective? Winston is way too erratic to rely on to win real world games, but 300+ yard 3 TD games aren’t out of the norm, but he’ll do so while throwing 4 INT’s and losing the game in the 4th. But if my Winston WR has 120 and a TD, I don’t really care that the Giants lost.

I have Williams as one of my 3 starting WR’s in a 16 team league. I’ll give it one more week, but I’m close to benching him. Pretty bad in a league where almost 50 WR’s start every week.

Wow. Stribling, Mason, Lane. If Antonio Williams gets hurt this weekend that would be all my late round sleepers I loaded up on either on IR or heading there.

I got a lot of Tre Tucker late in drafts. Came at a cheap price, and the Raiders have to throw it to someone other than Bowers.

Curious why you post this in every thread about where to draft a TE? Yours is A strategy, but not THE strategy. I play in 5 money leagues. Last year I won 3 of them, and in 2 I drafted McBride well before round 10. In the past I’ve won leagues where I did wait on a TE, but every year is different. Personally I wouldn’t draft Loveland in the 3rd this year, but I’d take him in 5th or 6th…he’s just going before that.

At this point (season 30) my nerves are more about the unexpected curveballs from other people in the league. The guy with an ADP around 100, who I hoped to get around round 8, and someone picks him in round 5. Or a player with an ADP around 50 who’s still there in round 6, so I shift my strategy mid draft and go best player available. Or the QB I think I can wait on, there’s a run on QB’s, and he’s gone earlier than I wanted to draft a QB. You can do 1,000 mock drafts and it won’t prepare you for other people doing unexpected stuff.

Loaded up on Lloyd in the late rounds of several drafts this past weekend. Worth a dart throw with where I got him.

This is going to shake up weekend drafts. Jacobs will drop, Lloyd will start going way earlier than a few days ago. Personally I’m staying away from that situation unless Lloyd is still around a round earlier than I would have considered him before this. But I doubt he will.

This. I look at whoever has an easy week 1 defensive matchup (this year I’m targeting Jacksonville, who plays at home against Cleveland) in the next to last round. Then whatever indoor or warm weather, decent kicker in the last round.

I’ve got my 1st (of 5 total) PPR drafts on Saturday at noon, and I’m eyeing my 10th round (#120 overall) pick for Stribling. If he’s taken before that, I may have to adjust my strategy in the other 4 drafts. Feel like he could have 2023 Puca impact.

I pick at #13 in the 1st (technically 5th round since we keep 4), and again at #29 in the 2nd. I wouldn’t take him with my 1st but would draft him back with my 2nd if he’s there. I doubt he will be though. He’s the 4th best non-rookie WR available in our league.

Not that high. I started the thread, and ended up keeping Godwin over Pierce as one of my 4 keepers. Maybe it’ll bite me but figured Godwin had a higher floor and is a low WR2/high WR3 in a 16 team league. Pierce could end up fine for week 1, but I’ll let it be someone else’s worry.

Have Jeanty in a league where we keep 3, and our keeper lock date is tomorrow. Keeping Lamb & McBride, and held onto Chase Brown on the off chance there was a freak injury. Glad I did that now.

I feel like Swift is a value around the 5th. Even if Monangai plays, still think Swift is a top 20 RB and solid RB2 in fantasy.

It’s weird with him. I don’t see him getting 35-40 catches, 500 yards, 3-4 TD’s as a real-world WR 3 or 4. I think he ends up being a rookie stud who helps win leagues, or disappears when the regular season starts. My plan is to roll the dice on him if I can get him after 100 overall (9th round+) but his ADP is going up. But he also wouldn’t be the first guy to look amazing in camp but it not translate after the real games start.

Sort of OT, but between the 2 guys…Dell & Jonathan Brooks…coming off major (1+ seasons out) knee injuries, it sounds like Brooks is further along, and the safer pick than Dell. Correct?

Tyler Warren injured his groin in practice today. Haven’t seen how severe but guessing he’ll miss some time.

It might move the needle some for me in one of my leagues. It’s a league where we keep 3 and redraft every 3 years. We redraft in 2028. My keepers are Jeanty, Lamb & McBride. I had Chase Brown but was putting him back in the draft pool. I have the #1 pick and was strongly considering Love. Now I might make the safer pick and just get Brown back. If we didn’t redraft I might take Love, but if he’s iffy the first few games of 2026 AND sharing work with Algeier, it might not be worth it with an option as good as Brown available.

I’d rather get Corum as my RB3 in the 8th round than Kyren as my RB1 or 2 in the 3rd.

Is it a throwaway? McBride is at lowest, the #2 TE in the league. Wilson had a nice breakout, especially the 2nd half of 2025. MHJ has performed below expectations but feel like he has a lot to prove in a “make or break” season. Throw a game breaker like Love in the mix, and the offense has potential.
