You lost 3 points because they went from allowing 3 points to 10 points because of the punt return for a TD, which is usually a 3 point difference

Can anyone explain to me why NE D is charged for the TD on the blocked punt by the Jets ... it cost my buddy and it got me wondering .... In this league (Yahoo league), its DEF not DEF/ST (individual players get credit for return TDs), so the special teams were on the field when the TD occured and not the DEF. I thought the DEF used to only get charged for the extra point in a situation like this... so can anyone explain briefly why they get charged, maybe I'm missing something??

Haynes, the Steelers third-down back, carried the ball 15 times for 78 yards and caught 18 passes for 95 yards this season. Our View The Steelers haven't decided as of yet on a replacement for Haynes on their 53-man roster. The internal candidates to replace Haynes in his third down role are Willie Parker, Najeh Davenport and Duce Staley, though Parker and Davenport seem much more likely to fill the role than Staley, who hasn't seen the field in 2006. Willie will most likely get much more time on 3rd down and in passing situations where haynes used to get all the touches ... I know as a FWP owner it'd kill me after he'd come out after almost every 2 plays. How much of a boost will this give him?

12 team 2 qb league reg. scoring my current starting roster: favre rivers tiki w.parker flex -addai wayne burress reggie brown lj smith kaeding jax bench-parker, morris, benson, jacobs, atl D ive got a trade on the table my burress, brown, addai for his portis and chad johnson then i have another ... my tiki & eric parker for his mcgahee & evans so my roster would look like this after both trades .. favre rivers portis w. parker flex-mcgahee wayne c. johnson evans lj smith kaeding jax i think that team is pretty sick do i do both??? or one of the two? or none?? leave a link
