Experiment failed evidently. I ran setup and saved the file. Then I moved the file to my pda. You can view the workbook quite nicely in pocket pc, but when it came to draft input, NO SOUP! The problem really is there's no drop down menus, so its still possible to type in the information during the draft, but then of course, the macros aren't working and the other sheets are useless. the pocket pc version of Excel just isn't adequate. Dang it!

Ijust got a Dell Axim PDA. Do you have a pocket pc version of draft buddy/compiler in the future? The PDA I have has pocket Excel, but I'm not sure how the macros would work on that version of Excel.

I'll give it a try and see. The idea of using my pda at draft time intrigues me. To have all that information in the palm of my hand would be awesome. Also, since we have our draft at one of the league owner's house, I would have a lot of freedom to move around and not be stuck in one place.

I want to copy and paste the draft by round tab info to a blank spreadsheet. But I need to reverse the order of every other round ie..2nd, 4th, 6th etc. Other than typing all those names or even cutting and pasting each individual name, do you know of an easier and faster method?

Well, I just copied and pasted info from the input tab and deleted all the unnecessary cells. This will work. I needed to post the results to my website. Its not a format I used in prior years but it will suffice. I would still be curious how to reverse the row anyway.

Ah, so if go back and type in Levens, then that should take care of my other issue. Thanks

It would be easier to get your league to call out first and last names. Who in their right mind just calls out Johnson or Williams?

I downloaded 2.0 and "copied league profiles" but my info didn't transfer over. I did confirm that my files were in the same directory and that the default file name was unchanged. No big deal, I only had one league profile.

Also, important to note, if you are doing your own mock draft at home, after selecting a player, you need to let the macros play out so that the name you selected wont appear on the the next dropdown.

My league starting lineup calls for qb, 2-rb, 2wr, 1-flex, te, k, def. Originally I input this into league variables as such. However, my strategy throughout the season is to play a 3rd running back for the flex. So i changed the variable to show 3rbs and zero flex thinking that it might affect the overall rankings. However it doesn't seem to make a difference. anyway, i don't really have a question I guess. For leagues that have multiple flexes, it might be advantageous to set up your league variables according to the position you prefer to play on a weekly basis.

never mind. i just figured it out

For example, if I changed Drew Bledsoes projected stats to 4000 yrds 29 tds 8 int, would it change his ranking in the cheatsheet?
-
MAN, that was easy!!

Thanks, I had the same question on how to adjust the rankings to my own "gut" feelings. However, we should point out that during the draft, you will constantly have to refer to the adjusted cheatsheet, and the player dropdowns on the draft input tab will be less effective since they will reflect the rankings tied to the compiler. Of course, I see where you can also sort the dropdowns by name which could alleviate confusion. If you still want to utilize the dropdown by rankings feature, wouldn't it be better to adjust the projections in the compiler? I just bought this tool a few days ago, so I'm not sure at this juncture how to go about doing it.
