Tough decision - Who to drop - Lendale, Kenton, Vernon, or Jason Wright?
theduke replied to Michael123's topic in A Little Help!
i'd say keith. after the bye week it will back to addai... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=295432 -
i would probably drop ward or jones... not lynch http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=295432

Which WR to start this week: Jennings vs WAS White vs NYG Curry vs SDC
-
jennings vs min curry vs mia white vs hou i'll respond to yours...
-
tough call... but i think lynch will have a better day overall. henry should get a lot of carries since denver will most likely try and keep indy off the field, but shannahan will probably use all the RB's.

I'm probably starting Jones over Droughns this week and based on the match up you have with Dunn, I'd do the same...
-
You could probably get Green or Warner which would be an updrade. I've had Leftwich before and he always seems ready to have a breakout season, but it never happens. At least with Brees you know they will be playing from behind and could get a lot of grabage points... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=228935

I'd go with Gabriel. Brady throws a ton and Branch is till a big unkown... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=228935

i'm already starting tiki and need help on my 2nd RB in a ppr league- tjones vs. GB or droughns vs. NO...
-
thank you doctor. elway played 16 NFL seasons without an ACL in his left knee.
-
i think he'll be good. i also have him as a keeper in the 6th round of my draft. he has had 11 months to rehab, so by the time the season starts i'd expect him to be good to go and lead the team in rec yds.

dunn, jamal lewis, kevin jones, dilllon???
-
i'd still go RB-RB. williams and brown would be a great combination and there are plenty of decent WR's out there...
-
i have the 3rd pick in a keeper league and larry johnson is kept. with my first pick i'm taking portis, based on the other team's keepers and needs, it looks like i'll be left with dunn, jamal lewis, kevin jones (had this guy last year), dillon, and anyonr traditionally ranked belwo these guys. any insight on who might pan out better this year? we award pts for receptions btw.

I would say you are on the right track by taking a QB early. If, let's say, (ignoring TD's for now) your QB got you 250 yards, your #1 WR 80 yards, and # 1 RB 100 yards, based on their scoring system the QB would account for over half of those points. Compare that against a "standard" scoring system (assuming 1 pt/25 yds pass, 15 rec, and 10 rush), the QB with the same stats would only account for less than 40% of those total points. The only issue I see is sacrificing a decent RB for a stud QB might leave you with 2 lame RB's. But even in that case two 100 yd RB would yield only 2 more points that two 70 yd rushers... without TD's of course. Hope that helps??
