Forecast for J. Best for rest of season

Wow. Just saw the news on F. Jackson. I was leaning in the direction of dropping Best for Kevin Smith, but I may be need to go with Spiller instead of Smith.
  2. Do people predict Jahvid Best will play, or be significant factor, at all this season? If Smith continues to play well, I'd be inclined to think the Lions would be extra cautious with Best and his hx of concussions, and sit him for the rest of the season even if he's physically ready to play. I've got Best on my bench, but am tempted to drop him for a waiver claim on Kevin Smith.

    Trade Value of Michael Vick?

Even with the injury risk and Philly looking pretty poor so far, I'd like to think Vick is worth more than a WR2.

    Trade Value of Michael Vick?

Good point, Joey. It's a ten team league also which adds to nobody being real desperate at QB.

    Trade Value of Michael Vick?

Just wondering what is reasonable trade value of Mike Vick when looking to pick up RB or WR? I've got Vick, Stafford, and Newton in standard scoring league. I obviously don't need two top ten QB's on my bench each week, and I'd prefer to hang onto Stafford and Newton because they have increased value as keepers. So far I'm not having much luck trying to trade Vick and just wondering what people think would be reasonable value for him when looking for RB or WR. As much as I hate having 2 of these guys on my bench each week, I'd also like to get decent value for Vick in a trade and not give an opposing owner a steal of a deal.

Only using imported projections for certain positions

Figured it out. Just need to readjust the default allocation key for the different positions.
  7. I would like to use some imported projections for QB, RB, WR, and TE, but not for Kicker and Defense. When I do this, however, the projections for Kicker and Defense seem to get messed up even though there is no additional data. How do I fix this?

    Print Cheatsheet on multiple pages

Excel 2000 on desktop and 2003 on laptop. Thanks Mike. I need to play around with it a bit more, but the new version seems to run faster than in years past so I may end up just using my laptop during the draft, but I always like to have a printed cheatsheet in case of technical difficulties.

    Print Cheatsheet on multiple pages

Sorry, I feel like I ask this every year, but can you remind me how to print the cheatsheet so the font is bigger. It's nice to have it all on one page, but my eyesight is now what it used to be. Thanks.

    Which one at #8 Pick?

I've got the #8 pick in 10 team non-ppr league. I anticipate C. Johnson, Peterson, Jones-Drew, and Ray Rice to be top picks. In the next 3 picks, I'm guessing some combination of Gore, Andre Johnson, Rodgers, Brees, Turner. I don't really want to take Rodgers or Brees at 8 if one is available and I'm not a big fan of SJax, D. Williams, Charles, Mendy in first round. I'm thinking that I probably go with Turner or Moss at #8 assuming Gore and Andre Johnson are gone at that point. What do you all think?

    Mike Bell or Donald Brown

Between Mike Bell and Donald Brown, who has the most value for the rest of the season. Bell is obviously benefitting currently from P Thomas's absence, while Donald Brown is still looking like a rookie but will probably be RBBC at minimum for the rest of the season. I have ulterior motives in asking this because I drafted Brown, but surprisingly Bell is still available on our waiver wire.
  12. I've got #1 pick in our 10 team league (non-ppr). We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex, TE, K, DEF. All TD's are worth 4 pts regardless of position. Because of the ability to start 3 RB's using flex, I will likely go with RB at 1.1 and 2.10. At 3.1, however, I am debating on picking up Manning, if available. My thinking is this: although he is unlikely to put up Brady/Brees numbers, he is likely to put up consistently excellent numbers week in and week out, has a very nice schedule this year (including playoff weeks), and seems very likely to be at least top 5 QB by end of year (barring injury of course). If I decide to pass on Manning, I'd likely take Roddy White/Steve Smith/Reggie Wayne, Colston at 3.1 and then wait till 6.10/7.1 or even 8.10/9.1 and grab a Schaub, McNabb, or Ryan. In this case, I'd probably grab a QB at 6.10/7.1 and then another QB at 8.10/9.1 or take 2 QB's back to back at 8.10/9.1 Although I never take a QB early, I like Manning for the reasons above, plus the ability to wait a bit longer on picking up a backup QB while increasing depth at RB/WR. What do you all think?

    Leinart as handcuff/flyer pick

Kind of interesting that Leinart doesn't even have an ADP in 14 team leagues, yet Michael Vick has an ADP of 11.05 per fantasyfootballcalculator.com.

    Leinart as handcuff/flyer pick

Just wondering if Warner owners have also drafted Leinart as a handcuff to Warner or what people think about taking Leinart as a late round flyer if roster size limits allow (QB3). It seems like consensus opinion is that Warner puts up very respectable numbers this year, but big question mark is whether he stays healthy so Leinart seems like he'd be a pretty hot waiver wire pickup if Warner goes down. Opinions.
  15. Can someone tell me how to print the offensive positions cheatsheet so it takes up multiple pages instead of fitting on just one? Although it's convenient to have it all on 1 page, the font is a bit small. I know I did this last year, but can't remember how I did it now. Thanks.
