Looks like this is a toss-up. My real motivation is not to help him, It's to help me, since he is playing my toughest competition. This is the first time ive noticed this bad management so I don't think hes thrown in the towel. Theres also the possibility he doesn't want to win as we draft the following year worst record picks first. He still has about a 1/2 hour but as we get closer to kick off I'm drifting toward the phone. Thank for the replies. DAB

Shaub and Orton have been putting up simillar numbers (Shaub a little better), but I'd look at the opponents here. Min and AP will move and control the ball way more than Det. Det is also giving up more than 30 Pts. a game. Toss in an Orlovsky turnover or two and it looks pretty good for Orton.

I'd eliminate Edge, even if he plays he doesn't get the goal line carries and the carries between the 20's are dropping and thats the case even if the rumors aren't true that Hightower is starting. If Hightower starts Edge is done this week. Addai and Fargas are a toss up. I think Addai has been close for a couple weeks, but they have rested him. My feeling is he should be 100% so I'd lean toward him. I think Royal Is the WR to go with, Den passing game is pretty good, playing opposite of Marshal will give him a lot of 1 on 1's and Den has had 2 weeks to prepare. DAB

My toughest competitor with whom I am tied with for 1st place in our league is facing an opponent that could greatly improve his line-up. Shuold I contact him and give advise before gametime. For example today he is starting Warrick Dunn who we now know didn't even travel with the team. He at least has other options on his bench K. faulk for example. Also his kicker is on a bye and he has an alternate. Is it wrong to contact him and advise reguarding these changes or should I just hope he catches it before gametime. Im our league we are locked out of any further line-up changes 1 hour before the 1st kick-off. Thanks DAB

I'd go with Mcnabb. Ten Def has the ability to keep Rogers contained. Sea is falling apart both on Off and DEF. Mcnabb should do well. In addition, Mcnabb seems to do even better than normal the week after Westy shines, battle of egos or something. DAB

I'd say no. You need White. White and Barber can start every week and you should be able to use either Hightower or Pittman depending on the matchup. You have three good WR. Wayne, T.O.(with the return of Romo week 10) and Jackson is just finding his grove with one of the top TD throwers in the league in Rivers. Boldin is a stud but white is a TD machine, You have a good balance with RB and WR now. DAB

Great trade espesially with Boldin and Johnson. That would be one hell of a WR lineup.

I don't think I can bring myself to bench Westy, but I can't dicide between E Graham and R Brown. Both have great match ups. I'm leaning toward Graham because it looks like Dunn may play little or not at all. We just start 2 RB's and no flex in our league. Thanks DAB

They just announced Testaverde will start which bumps up Smiths value this week. DAB

Those choices are not good. Even " IF "Johnson plays Watson will still see the ball. I"d stick with Watson

Id go with Anderson. He's been consistant, Has two great WR, Jason Wright doesn't look half bad, Miami is still a bad team. Hass may face a worse team but only has Engram. Alexander is only average at best this year, 25 yds on 11 carries last week. I'd ride Anderson untill he comes down to earth.

For Maroney to score he needs to: 1. Play= 30% , play limited role = 20% , not play 50% 2. Get the carries near the goal line = 25% For Turner to score the chargers basically need to blow out the raiders so he can finish for LT = 30% Don't like your odds man but I would go with Turner with about 30% to about 12.5% for maroney.

Would you start R Brown vs Miami ---my thinking is Miami my have finally figuered out there better if they use him in more plays, or T Henry--- I'm thinking the Indy run defence is average and Denver needs to keep Indy's offence off the field with more running plays. Denver also has decent corners. DAB
