So I get a phone call yesterday from a friend whos in hysterics while I was driving on the freeway, all I can make out are the words "bad news" and "babys dead" in between serious sobbing so I make a B line to his house. His daughter, who also is a good friend of mine is the one who lost the child. She was 36 weeks pregnant (9 months) and was ready to have the baby, and could have even had a healthy baby last week. I sat at his house for 3 hours and said maybe 10-15 words while he balled his eyes out uncontrollably and layed there, I was speechless. It was one of the rare times in my life where I really had no fockin clue what to say or do, so i just sat there for comfort. He couldnt gather the strength to go to the hospital where his daughter was and he kept repeating "I feel like my souls been ripped out of me." This guy is 6'4" 230, shaved head, handlebar mustache, tatted from his neck to his feet, if you didnt know him youd think he was a white supremacist, but hes far from racist. I've never known a situation like this, and this was the last guy I figure to react this way because of his "tough guy" exterior, the whole thing felt surreal. It gets worse... SHE STILL HAS TO GIVE BIRTH TO THE CHILD AND HAVE A SERVICE!!! I dont have the first clue about motherhood bonds with an unborn infant, but im thinking drugs and a c section or whatever theyre called sound like the no brainer way to go. She wont do it. She want to give natural birth to the baby still which makes no sense to me. Hours of pain only to see your dead baby, and I have to think once she arrives in her dead form, its going to put her into some kind of serious mental funk that may take a long time to recover from, I dont fockin get it. WTF??? Id like to provide as much support as I can or do whatever I can do in their time of pain but im not sure what can be done to help, it sems like something only time can heal. I've known them for 10 years and Russell (The father) and I basically spend time together with the herb, video games and UFC fights. I feel like I should just carry on as we normally would so it doesnt have to feel like perma depression. Any solid advice to help a struggling family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have learned that it is the ghey week. This means of course, that today is The Official Ghey Friday. Please step away from the heavy machinery so we can come together to pay tribute to a musical legend.

I don't want to insult anyone in this thread, but my point rings true always. Sherman left injured. If you don't believe karma is real, find a tall building and leap. Put a muzzle on your boy, lol. -

Congratulations guys, the Hawks are now legitimately in the players club. I'm looking forward to the NFC battles between SF and the now total badass Seahawks team in the upcoming years. -

The weddings in 2 weeks, Bridesmaid. Can't comprehend no rings and nut flexin is a toxic mix? I actually like Russell Wilson, but I don't think his chances are great, they just won their Superbowl. Meanwhile, in SF, the trophy cases are full. I'll re-enter this conversation if anything becomes real. Good luck though -

Sherman is the real deal, it physically hurts that he assisted in ended the game. I'm not discrediting him, he's possibly the best. Rings should do the talking, and it's likely he won't be getting one -

If I was a Seahawks fan, I'd hope someone puts a muzzle on Sherman quick. He's not nearly as graceful or decorated as Sanders yet talks like he is, and needs a serious slap to the face. Seriously. Peyton's probably studying film right now, really, and is gonna pick his ass apart -

I haven't visited this site in months. I'm here to post in this thread specifically, to provide the stealth 49er mojo. Its interesting that there's 49 pages in this thread... -

Jimmy Graham is single handedly killing my teams
Yer mom replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in FFToday Board
I'm not upset about my strategy to draft Calvin in the 1st and Jimmy in the 2nd of all my leagues this year. I'm destroying. -
Some of the reasons I was so high on Luck this year. Unfortunatley he can't crack my line-ups for the meantime cause Vick is holding down that spot for my teams.
-
WTF happened there. Chip Kelly had too many donuts this morning.
-
Perhaps overtime? More fantasy points for Vick? Get your paintbrush ready
-
No really, fock you Eddie.
-
I thought today would be a fitting spot to plug in Vincent Brown. Eddie Royal decides he should have been the first WR off the board. Fock you Eddie Royal.
-
Now he's being used as the upside #3 we all hoped for
-
Wow. Try for Calvin (assuming you have another serviceable flex player). That's an exciting thought to have Calvin, Brandon and Andre.
-
True. Another interesting perspective, is that Vick actually seems happy and appreciative to be in the situation he is in. His attitude has been greater than I've ever seen. I'd like to think that will carry over to great decision making and success. Chip Kelly needs to have him watch film on Kaep, and explain to him "Youre this important to our success, play smart and the sky's the limit". Vick is 1 season removed from being a 2-4th round draft pick in some formats, hopefully he'll recognize how money he is healthy and the great situation that lies in front of him.

Hartline is proving to be a real unappreciated stud. On the other hand, Calvin can outperform both guys stat lines combined on any given week. It's boneriffic to have Calvin in your line up every week, but Hartline and Boldin are in position to operate as two number ones. If you're deep at WR and need to eliminate having to choose weekly, go for it. Otherwise, you're lookin tuff in my opinion
-
Is it possible that you're thinking this as a GB homer? Cause the math is simple, in favor of Cameron
-
I told my brother while drafting, during round 9, "take Boldin now and you got the steal of the draft". Then a few picks later DeSean Jackson went and my drunk ass thought fock....WRs are deep this year. If Boldin and DeSean were any teams 2 and 3.....just....late rounds....winning.....wtf. -Deep thoughts with Jack Handy
-
Cameron. Finley has 3 other healthy mouths being fed. If Cameron didn't carry over his Pre-Season success into week 1, it'd be another story, but he did.
-
Would you trade Gore, Finely, Eifert for Jimmy Graham ?
Yer mom replied to snatchit's topic in FFToday Board
I wouldn't give you Graham for Finley and any of those RB's you have, unless my RB's were so depleted I had no choice. So the answer is yes, get Jimmy Graham.
