    Week 5 FU

I benched TY Hilton because I needed a home run against the #1 team. Hilton has been awful (maybe it's Rivers) but thought Miller could pull an old Edelman move and grab like 6-80-2. Oh well.

Austin Ekeler's status on league sites

They listed him as OUT yesterday morning and it took Yahoo until about 3pm central to designate OUT.

Titans players/staff test positive for COVID-19

We've got good friends in the Nashville area and even visited them back in June. From what I observed personally and from talking with them and others in the area, folks down there just don't believe the COVID situation is as serious as the rest of the US and are very anti-mask. I'm not going to get into politics and whatever but it's just a general lack of caring or concern going on from many I witnessed. And that's back in June when things were still spiking everywhere. Not sure if that attitude was adopted by the team but with all those positive tests (the Titans have like 99% of all positive tests in the NFL) it sure seems that way. I hope they have to forfeit AND get a huge ($10MM+) fine. Get your sh!t together Titans.

Fock you Pete Carroll and your GD 'Russell for MVP' campaign. Twice passing TDs from the 1 instead of giving it to Carson. Fock you to ME for listening to the experts and benching Brees in favor of Gardner Miscue this week. Fock you Titans run D for letting Dalvin go absolutely ape sh!t against me.

    Buy low, sell high

He took the offer. Bad news for me because I started Minshew and LSJ. Ouch.

    Buy low, sell high

Just sent a trade offer to get Gurley, Hilton, Minshew for Montgomery, Corey Davis, Stafford.

    Laviska Shenault

God I hope you're right. I just put him in my WR2 slot and will revaluate Flex on Sunday. I've got nothing to lose at this point and his ceiling tonight seems quite high. I'd love a 7-75-1 line

I was really looking forward to Chark tearing it up tonight but figures: my WR1 Julio is injured, WR2 Golladay hasn't played a snap so of course Chark, in a great matchip, is OUT for me. Currently have Julio/Golladay but wondering if I shouldn't start LSJ tonight. The way this season has gone I wouldn't be surprised to see Julio sit. I do have gage just in case

Who is going to have a blowup week week 3

I would say, based on weeks 1 and 2, it will be whoever my opponent has , so: QB: Dak RB: Jacobs, Cook, Johnathan Taylor WR: Trequan Smith, Allen Robinson TE: Higbee

    Pickup D. Freeman cheap.

So they signed him. MEH. I think I'd rather take a flyer on Curtis Samuel myself. Currently trying to package Dion Lewis and Boston Scott to the single owner of Saquan and Miles Sanders.

    Pickup D. Freeman cheap.

I wonder if the Giants will bring him in for a look. Again, I totally agree he's worthless from a fantasy perspective, but from a reality NFL perspective, would he help them if Barkley is done? Maybe I guess.

    FU week 2

Uh, how in the f0ck do the Falcons score 39 points and Julio gets me 2 catches and less than 4 points. WTF? Seriously. Oh, and just FU to the entire 2020 season. I'm already planning for next year.

    Anybody Firing Up Old-Man Gore?

I picked him up when I put Bell on IR but I don't see a scenario that I'll ever start him. Even being the "starter" I'd rather play McKinnon on the other side than Gore and his 1.5 yard per carry. The Jets are just putrid right now and my old man love for Lev Bell probably was a wasted draft pick.

The Official Week 1 FU Thread

    - Ekeler as my #1 RB because I got screwed by the newbie in my league who grabbed CEH ahead of me - Blake Jarwin is done, all my hopes now rest on Ebron at TE - Boston Scott - Cards D for allowing Mostert to get that 70+ yd TD

RB at the end of RD1/RD2 turn

The keepers were just announced and both Mixon and Jacobs were protected so I'm all in on CEH now at 2.01. Side note: I have a new owner in the league this year and he protected Josh Allen I even reminded him of the rules and said you don't HAVE to keep two but he was like "I'm good, that guy's awesome."

    Oops, yessir

RB at the end of RD1/RD2 turn

Great question as I'm in the same boat but mine is a keeper league. I'm drafting on the turn at 1.10 and 2.01 with two potential keepers in Julio and Kenyan Drake. But...there's a good chance Jacobs and Mixon will be there so I'm thinking of Julio at 1.10 and one of those guys or CEH at 2.01. Helaire really intrigues me in the keeper league. So I guess the question is which of these is best: 1. Julio/Mixon 2. Julio/Jacobs 3. Julio/CEH 4. Mixon/CEH I'm normally an RB/RB guy but last year I went RB/WR and won the league.

Who else would love to see Brady play elsewhere???

Here's my main counterpoint on the Brady/Tampa Super Bowl love: deep threats. In 2019 Tampa had multiple deep threats and 3 WRs in the Top 24 on yards per target - Godwin (#4 with 11.0), Evans (#16 with 9.8), and Perriman (#24 with 9.3). In 2019 outside of a few random 'who are these guys?', the Pats WRs averaged anywhere between 7.2 to 7.5. Total product of the QB. Brady had 6.6 yds/att and 10.9 yds/catch while Winston was 8.2 and 13.4, respectively. Brady had 6.0 completed air yards/completion (#15) while Winston had 8.6 (#1). They both had 20.6% bad throw percentage (Tied for third worst). I can't find length of TD stats but I can guarantee the Bucs WRs scored on at least 2 times more long TDs than the Pats. Long story short: Brady has lost his inability to throw the accurate long ball, which is EXACTLY what the Bucs speedster WRs excel at. Proceed with caution.

I'd be curious about everyone's SU confidence picks. I'm still in my winner's pool (19 left from 1,310). Saints seem to be the obvious choice this week. Hou -2.5 Ten +5 Min +8 Phi +1.5 NO/Min over 49.5

    Your 2019 NFL Playoff Bracket

Wild Card Titans over Pats Texans over Bills (toughest one for me since the Texans are Jekyll and Hyde) Saints over Vikings Eagles over Seahawks Divisional Chiefs over Texans Ravens over Titans Saints over Packers Niners over Eagles Conference Ravens over Chiefs (this hurts me to write but I'll give the edge to Ravens just because they're at home) Saints over Niners SB Saints over Ravens

    Your 2019 NFL Playoff Bracket

... that was so frustrating to watch. Truly thought we were going to win last year. Best moment of 2019 playoffs will be watching the Titans take out the Patriots and eliminate the dynasty at the same time in Foxboro.

The ship. Who is going and what does your roster look like

And BOOM. Two titles out of 3 leagues. I'll take it. I also find it hilarious that all the so called experts were absolutely hammering the Mike Boone drum from Thursday on. XM Fantasy even went so far as to declare a 'stop asking about Boone - start him as a back end RB1' over guys like Drake, Washington, and others. There's a reason he was the third string back. Always curious about circling back to compare draft picks still remaining vs. WW pickups. League 1: 6 left from draft (4 started in championship), 9 from WW (5 started in championship) League 2: 8 left from draft (6 started in championship), 9 from WW (3 started in championship)
