Advice needed in 4 player keeper league…
rotisserieking replied to makindollaz's topic in FFToday Board
Mahomes won't be back until around week 14 just FYI. Do you HAVE to keep 4? Not sure I'd keep Kraft or Mahomes especially if that means you get 2 draft picks ahead of the teams with 4 keepers. And do not trade Gibbs. Monty is long in the tooth and this will be Gibbs' backfield soon. -

Rams M/L lock of the week. Might even give the points. 27-13. -
I was right about the Maye hype and took him in the 10th. I was right that Jayden Daniels would be a bust (injury or not). I was wrong to think Evans could return to glory when I took him at 4.02. I was dead wrong to take Kittle over James Cook at 3.09. Guy behind me went Cook 3.10 and JSN 4.01. OUCH.

How do you run your playoffs seeds/looking for some advice
rotisserieking replied to jtztdm's topic in FFToday Board
Exactly what I was thinking too - this mirrors the NFL and it's why the 7-9 Seahawks hosted the 11-5 Saints in 2010 and the 7-9 Washington team hosted the 11-5 Bucs in 2020. -
Don't you just love when your third place team would have absolutely SMOKED the two teams in the championship? Focks sake. Maye, Ja'Maar, Burden, Bijan (tonight), Swift, Tonges, A Jones. \ The old woulda coulda shoulda. Scored 40+ more than either of those bozos.

I benched him but luckily got away with it (assuming Pinero scores less than 19 tonight). I sat him in favor of Etienne, who scored, but was much less productive. Jeanty tried to single handedly take out 26 of the remaining 31 in my survivor pool including 2 of mine. WHEW. Dodged a bullet. Can you imagine how good he'd be on a real team?

Still sending my FU to McBride last week where I lost by 0.5 pts (5 yards). Special FU to Hunter Henry for dropping a critical 3rd down pass on the final drive that would have secure the win. This week I put up the highest points on the season and would have smoked all 4 teams in the semis, including the Nacua-Gibbs team. Stupid game. Why do I do this to myself every year?

My JSN finished pretty nicely against my opponent's Colby dud.

Yep, when the college kickers start hitting 50s routinely, it's time to change. Even a few years ago it seemed anything over 45 was 50/50 in college, now they're drilling them left and right.

Thanks for the detailed analysis! I know I was confused with the Ham TD but more so by the lack of production in 2nd half by Jones (just 1 carry). Quit watching at halftime because I figured I had it. Now praying for a stat correction of ANY kind. Also didn't help that on the final drive Maye threw 3 straight incompletions. Any one of those is caught and I win. Ah, fantasy football is a fickle beast.

Picked up like this week - how were they even available?!?
-
Did Aaron Jones get hurt? His first half stats appear to be his final game stats WTF? I lost by 0.5 - he had around 7 points at halftime and finished with 8. And finished my season
-
Gigantic FU to my Houston D for allowing my opponent's McBride to be an MVP. 34 points from a focking TE are you sh!tting me? I lose by 0.5 because of his McBride and Philly D. 5 yards. 1 catch. And a special one to Jason Meyers for kicking the game winning field goal that would have knocked out 7 of the remaining 33 in my survivor. We all made it through Week 15.

Olave and McLaurin (unless you started Evans last night)

Very tough PPR WR (2) and Flex options - please help!

Wandale, Meyers, Watson -
I was worried about my opponent's Egbuka/Bucky stack but my Bijan killed them. Built up a nice lead headed into Sunday.
-
I agree, Mooney has been worthless and this feels like one of those weird games where some rando (Sills in this case) grabs a TD.
-
KW3 has been so unreliable and Watson has been a target beast. I usually prefer RB or WR in the flex but that's a full-fledged RBBC. I've looked at more than half a dozen rankings sites and Walker is around RB21 and Watson WR25 on average. So basically a toss-up. I'm saying Walker. I dropped Boswell last week for Mevis because I'm scared of Pitt's upcoming outdoor schedule. Mevis has juicy matchups. In fact NE and CHI have tough outdoor winter games. Take Mevis.

Daniel Jones is Done, Philip Rivers is Back!
rotisserieking replied to Ray_T's topic in FFToday Board
This will either be a 45-10 Seahawks win or neither team will score over 20 -
Our league moved to victory points this season, and while there were only 4 times someone lost their head to head but beat the median score, those additional wins helped a lot and we're going to keep that system. Got tired of hearing guys (me included) complain about scoring 2nd highest on the week but losing to #1, which shows as equal to losing by 80. The VP system helps reward consistently high scoring teams. Our top 6 scoring teams are the Top 6 seeds.

What I find interesting is apparently Rivers was up for Hall of Fame consideration next year. If he plays, this will reset his HOF eligibility and set him back another 5 years. Guess he doesn't care. -

Grandpa Rivers. He's even more immobile than Jones with a broken leg. I see a lot of touches in JT's future. -
I'm not up on the Bears OL situation but it certainly seemed pretty good last week vs Philly. The Chiefs O-Line is a focking disaster and lost 1 of their last starters 14 seconds into the game. Hard to be a magician when you face the #1 defense with sub-par linemen. That offense is a mess.
