was just offered J.Taylor by a dude who needs to win now for Fournette. 1/2 ppr. My other notable RBs are Cook and Barkley. He said he'll leave it up for 24 hrs. He's hedging that Taylor misses time.

Do I take Taylor for Fournette and hope he gets his ankle right, that the Colts don't utterly tank, etc. I'm really eyeing the playoffs in weeks 15-17 and am fine waiting on Taylor until then. But still worry he could be shut down or just stay ineffective. But his upside is high.

Thoughts? Hold Fournette or take the risk on Taylor?

Did you call in to XM yesterday? Someone called in with the same question!

Meanwhile, made my best call of the year...said screw the rankings and analysts and sat Lamar Jackson. For Justin Fields.

Wish I had done the same and followed my gut. All the expert sites had Herbert ranked well ahead of Fields. My gut said they were wrong since he had no weapons but then I second guessed myself - they must know something. UGH. I lost. Same thing last week "Carr should be good enough" against the same Falcons. Just needed 200 and a TD. Back to back losses with Fields on my bench. I'm not going to look at or listen to any rankings this week. My gut would've been 2-0.

  3. Well it's turning out to be Justin Herbert in the 5th round (I had 2 picks in the 5th) when I could have had Hurts in the 6th. I get that he's had a host of injuries at the WR spot but coming into the season everyone was proclaiming him a top 5. He alone has cost me 3 games this season. All would have been wins had I selected Hurts.

Carr has not been the same player since his broken leg/broken back injuries in 2016-17, and it appears that he's bottoming out this year.  Whether its a physical issue or mental, it's been long enough now to say that he's never getting back to where he was, which was an MVP candidate.

I also blame myself somewhat for hovering over the Add Fields/Drop Carr button just before game time. UGH, go with your gut.

I started DJ, CMac, and AJ Brown and because of ##### Carr I still need points from Boyd tonight. Daniel Jones and Ehlinger had 9.04 but Carr had 3.44. WTF. You're gone, cut, get the fock off my team.

Did I mention how badly I hate Carr??? I was up by 41 last night with Boyd...and LOST by 5 to Cooper, Chubb and York. Could have started ANYONE other than Carr at QB and easy win.

Hope so; but don’t get your hopes up.  ND fan here and watched him 3 yrs.  Not too impressed. He should have stayed another year to learn overall game.
Small frame, small hands, and happy feet like no other-so frustrating!!.   His pass pro sucks!   BUT  he can catch the ball and scamper but trips on his own feet!!.  I think he only runs a mid 4.5 though.  Great character kid and brings good energy.   But suspect NFL skills IMO.  Hope I’m wrong.

Watched him here in St. Louis since junior high because our friends are really good friends with his mom. He was an absolute beast in high school and the single reason Vianney was as good as they were. But HS is another game altogether. He is very quick with good hands but I also saw lots of breakdowns in protection while at ND. Almost like he didn't really care about that side of the game, which will get you cut in the NFL. He has the chance to be a poor man's Marshall Faulk if he can fix the holes in his game. Wouldn't hurt to beef up some more too.

  8. Hey Rodgers - YOU SUCK! (but I love it). I rage dropped Doubs this morning. Tired of hearing the hype. ZERO points - WTF.

Hey Brady - YOU SUCK! (but I love it). Your inability to score means the TB defense is on the field way too much and is apparently worthless. In a slam spot they gave up 21 to the freaking Panthers with PJ Walker and Chuba Hubbard.

DJ Moore - thanks for finally showing up ... on my  bench.

I might drop foreman for him.

Exact conundrum I'm in now. But then I looked at the schedule and it's BRUTAL for the Panthers in relation to rushing defenses. So a split backfield (maybe, probably) against stout run Ds and I think I'm staying away. Neither of those guys are half as good as CMC. Praying for a bunch of dump offs to Moore but planning on stat lines like 10 targets, 6 catches, 35 yards. Yippee

  10. I am disgusted with myself for drafting DJ Moore over AJ Brown. Just packaged Thielen, Brian Robinson, and Tampa Bay to get get Brown to help my WR situation.

At this point in the season Moore looks droppable in a horrible offense with even worse QBs. He's getting 7 targets a game but those lead to only 3 catches due to QB inaccuracy. I'm thinking of dropping him for a speculative add of OBJ.

Is anyone sticking with Moore? Can he recover and be a WR2 instead of a WR4?

  11. Thinking outside the box, I'd love to see the Chiefs get him - could give back everything we got in the Hill deal. Obviously I have no clue about salary cap issues but damn, CMC on the Chiefs would be incredible.

So I took a quick gander at the CBS Sports Trade Value Chart, which was put together before last night's game. So giving B-rob the implied slight bump, the types of guys in his trade range would be QB: Brady/Burrow/Geno; RB- Zeke/Singletary/James Robinson; WR- McLaurin/Diontae/Jeudy/A. Cooper/ Drake London, ad TE- Hockenson/Pitts/Waller Njoku. None of those would make me click yes immediately in a one for one.

I did not know about this tool, will check it out. My WRs are not good and I need an upgrade so I would certainly deal him for Cooper if I had the chance.

Fu to me for turning that game on even for a little bit last night

Yep, FU to the NFL for scheduling that snoozefest. Early in the 2nd quarter there were 4 combined 1st downs and 6 (SIX!) combined punts. Glad I didn't watch, just checked the phone a few times. :wall:

  14. As a Taylor owner I have him stashed on my bench as a just in case, but we have 7 bench spots so I can afford to do that. Definitely rosterable in PPR formats. There are some tough games coming up so game play may stick with Taylor vs getting more action in blowouts. If you can hold him I would but depends on who you'd drop him for.
