Full-point PPR league. RB1 = B. Hall; RB2 = D. Montgomery. WR1 = M. Nabers, WR2 = B. Thomas. FLEX = T. Bigsby. I'm benching Harrison Jr. because one-week is QUICK for a turnaround from a concussion; will he play the entire game? Also, LAC are a Top-10 pass defense. I'm benching Juju because he was a late-week addition to the injury report with a hammy. Also - who do you sit from the above to play him? NOTE: If Etienne is ACTIVE, I'll instead FLEX Juju. FWIW: also sitting IND RB T. Sermon, WAS RB A. Ekeler, and MIN RB T. Chandler. Thoughts?
-
Update: changed FLEX from Bigsby to Juju. Bigsby is only a two-down RB.
-
Interesting. JAX is favored over NE by 5, and Bigsby ran all over Indy with the lead, two weeks prior - for 101 yards and 2 TDs. NE DEF is 6th-worst vs. RBs.
-
So ..: 1) sit Mason for B-Rob? 2) FLEX B-Rob, sit Addison and Douglas, and start Juju?
-
So .. you'd bench B. Thomas of JAX vs. NE?
-
Just saw an article on Rotoworld; one that focuses on stats: Baltimore Ravens Derrick Henry is on pace for 1,995 yards and 23 touchdowns Though Henry is doing little as a pass-catcher, add in his receiving pace and he is tracking to clear 2,000 yards from scrimmage with 26 touchdowns. Henry has been a monster in Baltimore’s four consecutive wins. The Ravens are favored in every game for the remainder of the regular season with an average spread of 4.9 points. May God have mercy on your soul if you faded The Big Dog.

I have DAL KCR Aubrey, and NO WAY I'm dropping him over the Bye Week. Full-point PPR league. I need a KCR for Week 7. My weakest Bench players are BAL TE? I. Likely, and BUF (now) WR2 K. Shakir. My TE1 is PIT TE P. Freiermuth. I'm leaning towards cutting Likely. TE is such a waste land this year, when PIT has their Bye Week, I'm thinking I'll be able to pick up someone with a decent matchup that week. Shakir is "Mr. Automatic," and it will take A. Cooper some time to learn the playbook. Thoughts?

Second TE, in this case. Dropped M. Andrews a week or two ago.

SNF Discussion: Bengals at Giants - Week 6
Bills04 replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
OMFG.. Only the second time in my life I've turned off a G-Men game in disgust. That INT thrown by Jones in the first half was one of the worst plays I've seen this season. I'd have put in DeVito after that play, if I was the HC. AND - I'd have visited the GM's office after the game and met with Ownership, about how to proceed the rest of the season. Spend the $ on a FA QB next Spring, or "lose-out" for a high Rookie Draft pick. -
Went with NE's WR1, D. Douglas..

Full-point PPR. WR1 is Deebo, who played TNF. My current WR2 is GB D. Wicks. I also have BUF WR1 K. Shakir who is listed as QUEST, but he was OUT Wed, Thur & Fri - and was just listed as LTD on Sat.. WW options include: 1) HOU WR Hutchinson - both Collins and Woods are OUT; 2) DEN WR2 L. Humphrey - WR2 J. Reynolds was put on IR; 3) TEN WR2 C. Ridley - home vs. soft IND DEF; 4) ATL WR3 R. McCloud vs. a soft CAR pass DEF; 5) BAL WR1 R. Bateman - home vs. WAS; and 6) ARI WR3 G. Dorch - at GB, and no looks with McBride back. Thoughts?? If GB WR1 C. Watson ends up being Inactive, I'll likely just keep D. Wicks in as a starter. If C. Watson is Active, I will likely grab someone off the WW. But who??
-
Thanks, Nomad. I'll give Ridley a chance. I see that Flacco will be Indy's QB, so TEN will be forced to throw in the second half. Shiite ..; he was JUST dropped this week, and is LOCKED..
-
I dropped SF WR3 J. Jennings in one league. In the other, BAL TE3 (sadly..) M. Andrews.
-
Ha, ha. I grabbed Juju through normal waivers / FAAB Thursday AM in both my leagues.
-
Ha, ha! Me, too. I started a post on Andrews a week or so ago: It's now 4 games ..; WHAT TO DO with BAL TE Andrews.. - FFToday Board - FFToday Forums

Update (#2?): After last week's aerial show by L-Jax vs. Cincy, and Andrews STILL got outplayed by the TE2 (and TE3!) - I dropped him. Got Juju in one league (where I already grabbed Freiermuth). In the other, I just dropped Andrews for NE TE H. Henry. -

Update: in the short-term, I went with Option 1. I dropped ARI WR G. Dortch for PIT TE P. Freiermuth. My WRs are: C. Kupp, D. Samuel, K. Shakir, and recently added J. Addison and D. Wicks. I'd never play Dortch, unless a Bye Week, or one of the others got injured. -

I was just reading Kyle's Week 5 summary on Rotoworld. I saw that Matthew Berry covered the Mark Andrews situation; here's the video: Should Baltimore Ravens’ Mark Andrews be dropped by fantasy managers? - NBC Sports He said he posted a poll to his X / Twitter account, and 42% of peeps are out-right dropping him. Pretty much the rest are keeping him on their bench (still). He also had a good quote / comment: if you took Mark Andrews' stats, and assigned them to ANY other player, it wouldn't even be a question about dropping him. -
I saw that SF WR1 D. Samuel practiced in a Limited capacity Thursday and Friday. An ESPN Reporter reported Saturday night that Deebo “plans on playing.” His game has a 4:05PNM kick-off, which complicates matters somewhat. Team 1: He was my WR1 in the draft. This week I picked up NE WR1 D. Douglas. Currently I have Douglas as my WR2. After I post this – with the new ESPN report, I'll change it from Douglas to Deebo. BUT – I'll make a mental note to check the late game Inactives around 3:00PM just in case. (I can switch back to Douglas if need be – they play against each other, same game / time.) Team 2: I picked up SF WR3 J. Jennings on waivers this past week, and I currently have him as my FLEX. My .. alternate, JAX WR2 B. Thomas, plays at 1:00. With the Deebo news, again, after I post this, I'll change my FLEX from Jennings to Thomas. (WR1 is Harrison Jr., and WR2 is M. Nabers.) How are other peeps handling this?? Oh, my league is full-point PPR.
-
Full-point PPR. RB1 = D. Henry; RB2 = J. Mason. I'm currently FLEXING ARI RB J. Conner, home vs. WAS. BUT - I also have WAS RB B. Rob @ ARI. And, CIN RB1 Z. Moss @ CAR. B-Rob has no competition, with Ekeler out. And, ARI DEF was the worst vs. RBs in 2023. Conner has been subbing out quite a bit this year.. Seems like Demercado is the 3rd down RB.. I thought of sitting Conner last week, and it almost cost me the week.. WAS DEF is I think a bottom-10 vs. RBs this year. Then, i also have Z. Moss, who has taken the reigns of Cincy's backfield so far this year. Similar to WAS DEF, CAR DEF is bottom-5 vs. RBs this year. With Ekeler out, I'm REALLY leaning towards switching my FLEX to B-Rob from Conner. Conner also had not played well vs. WAS, historically. Thoughts?
-
Plethora of good RBs! Sit: Conner; B-Rob or Moss??

No .. love / confirmation, from other B-Rob Team Owners? -

Bills04 replied to Bills04's topic in A Little Help!
I've been taking a look at various statistics. I switched-up my FLEX to B-Rob. ARI DEF plays a 3-4, so I think he'll have an easier time than Conner, especially against WAS's good two DTs. -
Saw Matthew Berry's Love / Hate article. SF is WORST vs. slot WRs. Picked up Demario Douglas. If MIN WR2 J. Addison is back, I'll likely play Douglas over Nailor.
-
Full-point PPR league. I bid for ATL WR2 D. Mooney, but I was out-bid.. Other WW options include: 1) NO WR2 R. Shaheed @ ATL; 2) NE WR1 D. Douglas @ SF (7th worst vs,. WRs!); 3) LAR WR? T. Atwell @ CHI (5th best vs. WRs..); or 4) DAL WR3 J. Tolbert @ NYG. I would drop IND WR? A. Pierce to get another WR. (My other WRs are BUF WR K. Shakir, ARI WR3 G. Dortch, and MIN WR3 J. Nailor). Shaheed has a better QB than Pierce, so I'm debating doing that WW transaction. Thoughts?
-
F&%$ ..; Shaheed was picked up on traditional waivers..
