Cardinals hired Mike LaFleur as their new head coach.LaFleur entered the NFL’s coaching ranks as an offensive intern with the Browns in 2014, studying under then-OC Kyle Shanahan. LaFleur followed Shanahan to the Falcons in 2015 after accepting an offensive assistant position. Evidently impressed with LaFleur’s development, Shanahan hired LaFleur as the 49ers’ passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach after Shanahan was hired as the team’s head coach in 2017. LaFleur shed the wide receivers coach title in 2019, and later accepted the Jets’ offensive coordinator position in 2021 after former 49ers DC Robert Saleh was hired as the Jets’ next head coach. LaFleur parted ways with the Jets in 2023 and was hired by Rams head coach Sean McVay as the Rams’ offensive coordinator. He has served in that capacity in each of the last three seasons. LaFleur’s offense led the league in yards per play this season (6.1), while using creative play designs featuring play action, shifts and motion. He signed a five-year contract with his new team.Oh, and BTW - that leaves the remaining 10th HC opening with LVR to .. SEA OC K. Kubiak. -
Bills hired offensive coordinator Joe Brady as the team’s head coach. While it’s hard to separate Brady’s play calling and offensive scheming from the all-world quarterbacking of Josh Allen, Brady’s Buffalo offenses have been productive. The Bills have been top-six in points scored and top-ten in total yards in all three of Brady’s seasons at the helm of the offense. Brady, 36, served as OC for the Panthers before coming to Buffalo in 2023. The Bills over the past three years lead the NFL in EPA per play and rank second in offensive success rate, trailing only Kyle Shanahan’s 49ers. Brady, at worst, will bring continuity to the team after they fired longtime head coach Sean McDermott following a Divisional Round loss to the Broncos. -
I turned the game off, after the muffed punt. Surprisingly LAR kept it close.

I went to bed thinking SEA would be favored ..; I was right!

In no time flat, Seattle advanced to -4.5. The total opened at 46.5, and that number saw no early movement, remaining there late Sunday night.

Ha, ha - Payton, and NOT kicking that FG early in the game. Your DEF was dominant vs. NE. $uck it, for "following the analytics!"

Hmmmm - me-thinks BUF HC S. McDermott might have some anxiety. He's in the same boat. Although, Mahomes has ripped the hearts out of many folks in the NFL.
Called McDermott's firing almost two weeks ago.
Hmmmm .. haven't been following ALL the HC interviews (BAL & TEN up to a dozen??) .. but one would think B. Daboll is on BUF's radar.

Yeah .. SF down Kittle, I didn't think the game would be competive..

"he is still under contract, so he cannot go to another team without the steelers agreement." From what I read, Tomlin's tired of coaching. Although, the article author also thought at least a few teams would try and change his mind on that.

Falcons hired Matt Ryan as President of Football.Ryan spent 14 of his 15 years in the NFL as a player with the Falcons, winning the MVP in 2016 and making four Pro Bowls. He signed a one-day contract to retire with the organization and was inducted into the Falcons’ ring of honor in 2024. Ryan is putting his reputation on the line in taking a job many believe was created specifically for him as the Falcons’ President of Football. He’s been granted full control with final say over all football decisions, including leading the search for the team’s next head coach and general manager. Ryan will pause his broadcasting career at CBS while he takes over the Falcons.Good!! Every time I saw a CBS ad for its morning show, his .. smile always looked like he was constipated, trying to push one out.. -
"Also wouldn't be surprised if she's just trying to get money." and "As of Wednesday night, Jones has yet to file a police report of domestic violence in Overland Park, Kansas, or in Dallas, the two places mentioned in her post where she says abuse occurred."
This is a $$$ grab - AGAIN. She's "trying her case" via social media / the public. Is it any wonder .. 80% of dudes are just avoiding women PERIOD??

I expect MIA to push for ex-BAL HC J. Harbaugh. Supposedly his Agent received more phone calls than there were HC vacancies at the time. Perhaps MIA the "extra" call?

Ugh.. I went up against the high-scorer last week. So, currently playing for third place. And, I only have $1 FAAB left, so I can only bid / acquire one player via the waiver-wire. With that being said, I'm still going to put in for some peeps.
As I commented in my “A Little Help” post last week, my concern about NO “TE” T. Hill seeing a ton of work came to fruition. So, I'm going to bid for him, and drop BUF DEF (Home vs. PHI). If not him, I'm also going to bid for: 1) NE WR M. Hollins (Boutte and “Pop” were injured last week), or HOU RB J. Jordan (dominated carries the past two weeks). I think I'll have to do those .. manually, as regular free agent pickups. Doubt the system will let me make multiple $1 WW bids.
If you're in the Championship Round – good luck!!
What is everyone else doin'?

Stu: I saw that ATL WR1 D. London will play this week. Not so sure Pitts is "boom" eligible.
-
Standard scoring / no points for punt or kick return yards (yes, for TDs). I'm currently rolling with BUF @ CLE. CLE is all banged up; no OT, OG is questionable, TE2 and RB2 are both OUT, and best DB is OUT. BUF's HC is defensive-minded, and you have to figure he's licking his chops to show Sanders stuff he's never seen before.
Surprisingly, DEN only has 12 turn-overs season to date. JAX is decent running the ball, and has decent Wrs. So, I don't see a lot of upside? I played TB last week at home vs. ATL, and they big-time disappointed.. CAR has had some good games this season, and have a decent group of Wrs, as well as a two-headed monster at RB.

Full-point PPR league. RB1 = Saquon. WR1 = M. Evans; WR2 = C. Sutton; TE = T. McBride. Currently rolling with ARI RB M. Carter as my RB2, who is Home vs. ATL. ATL is in the bottom-half defending RBs. I think he set a career mark for scrimmage yards last week. My other options are HOU RB W. Marks (Home vs. LVR), and NO RB A. Estime (Home vs. NYJ). Woody was OUT / OUT / Limited this week. Meanwhile, Chubb was LTD / FULL / FULL. And, HOU's RB4 “went off” last week. HOU “should” easily win this game, and I expect they will rest Marks and ride the other guys. I really like Estime .. but do I went to risk the Championship Round on a street free agent pickup, on a team with Taysom Hill possibly stealing RZ looks??
At FLEX I'm currently rolling with ARI WR M. Wilson, also Home vs. ATL. My other options are: SF WR J. Jennings @ Indy, or NYG W-Rob, Home vs. MIN. I quickly ruled out W-Rob, as MIN's pass defense is scary, and shut down the G-Men a few years ago. Regarding Jennings, the volume just isn't there. Yes, he's been a RZ-stud the past five weeks or so. But, I expect SF to control this game with IND QB being grand-pa P. Rivers, and running with C-Mac, and hitting Kittle on 2nd- and 3rd-and longs.

Hi Guru! Ugh – more decisions to make this time around. My RBs are set (due to injuries!). At QB, I have Dak - Home vs. LAC, or Nix - Home vs. JAX. LAC DEF is the best in the league vs. WRs.. Also, Nix way out played Dak last week. Currently rolling with Nix. Oh – full-point PPR. At WR, I have DEN's Sutton also Home vs. JAX as my WR1. My WR2 is NYG's W-Rob, Home vs. MIN. He's more of a “floor” play. I'll likely FLEX a WR; currently going with SF's Jennings, who “all he does it catch touchdowns!” - he is at Indy. Other options include .. ARI WR M. Wilson - Home vs. ATL; worried because MH Jr. practiced on Wednesday. (As with last week, my TE is McBride, so another negative vs. Wilson – there is only one ball!) I also have TB WR Egbuka @ CAR, who I'm “down on,” after Evans dominated targets last week.
Oh, for Defense, I am rolling with DEN - Home vs. JAX. I also have TB @ CAR, but CAR has been playing better recently. There are also a lot defenses available on the waiver-wire I could grab: NO - Home vs. NYJ; BUF @ CLE; MIN @ NYG, and NYG - Home vs. MIN. Standard-scoring, but nothing for punt / kick return yardage (yes, if a TD).
What say you??
-
Well .. shiite.. Lost two depth RBs, in Bam Knight and Bhayhsul Tuten. Also, Woody Marks left mid-game but the HC says it wasn't serious – he could have returned. So, RB injuries will factor in to my WW decisions this week! While going through high-scorers on the WW from last week – doh! Someone cut TB WR M. Evans!!
So .. dropping DAL WR R. Flournoy for Evans. Bidding for ARI RB M. Carter, and dropping Bam Knight. If not him, then NO RB A. Estime. Bidding for NO RB A. Estime, and dropping Bhayhsul Tuten. If not him, then MIA TE D. Waller. (Yes, I'm aware Tua got benched.)
What is everyone else doin'?

What the eff?? I think it was the DET WRs. The first catch by J-Will, and ASB - each of them mimicked picking their nose??
-
C-Rod is INACTIVE! Hope it doesn't bite me in the a$$, but I'm sitting M. Wilson.. (I am kinda stuck playing McBride, already..)

What ELSE did you do, other than watch the half-time show??
