Acute observation and exactly what crossed my mind. Being a Mostert owner, I picked up Mitchell when I saw Sermon was inactive. I am not sure what’s going to happen moving forward. I may hold off a week and see what occurs. Coaches lie as often as being forthright. I am not currently convinced Mitchell is the lead

Patriots ink Steven Jackson to one-year contract

Creative financing is common in the business world. If there was a creative move by the Pats to circumvent the Cap then kudos to them! Since the NFL is aware of this information and believes no violation of the CBA exists, there is either nothing here or a smart move by the Pats to create Cap space. Nice!! As far as S Jackson goes, he was Atlanta's best back last year and although not what he ounce was showed he had something left. If, he has kept in shape, he is easily the Pats best back and will help. -
Shoelace for sure, I think Brown is next best bet!

Is Marvin Jones worth adding on your roster now?

I wouldn't! -
Anyone sitting Doug Martin due to game-flow concerns ?

I am rolling with him. Last weeks game got out of hand so fast it is hard to interpret. If they are within reach will he get some back field passes for PPR value? They may have sent him to the bench for Sims for mop up. Martin can catch and although this game could also be a blow out, I believe they will hang in there enough for Martin to have good value this week. Just a gut feeling but I riding it! -
Spiller definately the way to go

PPR easy call - Moss. Standard - I still like Moss!

I'd go Beanie and Smith. Greene has a health issue as well and has done nothing when healthy anyway!
-
I have a feeling Smith may be more of a factor than most realize. He has kept in very good shape and is healthy. Last weeks reps and practise will help him get in game shape. Morris has always been considered a reliable backup while Smith was considered a primary back that injuries turned Detroit in other directions. I think Detroit was suprised to see his effectiveness during the workout and may figure he could be the primary if Best does not return. It would be better to have a young back do the heavy lifting and revert to the older reliable backup if needed than the other way around. This is mere speculation on my part but I have a hunch Smith will be the primary within a few weeks if Best is done. I say they split carries this week. Just a hunch though and could be way off. I would like to hear from lion fans that should have a better feel for the situation.

Jets videotaping on the sidelines during the game

How many times are you going to repeat the same thing! We know the Pats got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. That's been spelled out clearly. What's your problem anyway? He makes a comment based on an article and finds it ironic and states so. No need to get all fired up over it! Jeesh! -
I do the same but only when I have a viable option. DMC stays in. I'll still root for the Pats and against DMC but he'll get his and my ff team will too.
-
Certainly possible since since McGahee will likely get most of the td's but Moreno should get the bulk of the carries.
-
I agree with your thoughts. He is currently my flex and as a Pats fan as well, I'm trying to find a way to play someone else. I am not sure of what he'll do with this opportunity. I think the Pats shut him down or he causes big problems. Big ? Right now! I hope he does well but Pats easily prevail. This would bode well for Bush's immediate future. I don't believe he is capable of a bell cow workload though and may have a short season if they try it. They have no choice this week so I hope he makes it through in good health. I would like a shot at moving him if he has a few good weeks. We'll see!

TO is still hurt and a few months from being viable (if ever). If Moore comes back within the next few weeks they'll stand pat.

I have McGhee and he'll remain on the bench. I wouldn't be too concerned about those remarks. Moreno should get most carries but probably lose GL carries. Only listen to some of what the coaches say (lies) common sense says Moreno being clearly the better back will handle the heavy lifting and give McGahee the end zone prize. Think Rice/McGahee. He is here to fill that role and be the backup otherwise. JMHO!
