    2006 DeShaun Foster = 2005 Thomas Jones?

He's gonna hurt his mangina by week 4 and Carolina will be down to the #3 RB (be it Deangelo Williams, Shelton, Goings or whoever else is on that roster) by week 6. I'm gonna stay far away from this situation.

or even one for that matter. that crap is dirt. on the rare occasion there isn't an In'N'Out in sight I'll get an order of fries at McD's but that's it. Those burgers have got to be the worst on the planet.

    Let the backlash begin

My bad. I was just generalizing where most of the "red states" could be found. It's a pretty safe bet that the people against gay rights (or any human rights) are the god fearing, war mongering, neo-cons that make up a majority of the above listed demographics. It's pretty much a non-factor for me also. Everybody just needs to worry about themselves and let people live their lives.

How do I cook 2 NY Strip steaks?

Exactly. If you're cooking a New York medium well you're ruining it, so it doesn't really matter how you cook it. Go grab a t-bone, burn it to a crisp, crack a budweiser or whatever crappy beer you drink and be done with it. Good steaks (tenderloins, new york, porterhouse, etc) need to be cooked medium rare to enjoy properly.

    Let the backlash begin

Maybe the people in the south and midwest. The people who live in the states that actually contribute to the US economy could care less if gays want to get married. They have just as much of a right to be unhappy as straight people.

    Best National Lampoon Vacation movie

I voted for the original but the hottest Audrey was from Las Vegas Vacation. That beast who plays Audrey in European Vacation makes the entire movie unwatchable.
  10. http://www.kvue.com/news/top/stories/06210...D.acc659e3.html A mother is in legal trouble after her three-year-old son ate candy laced with LSD. The child has been released from the hospital and is in foster care. According to the arrest warrant, the child’s mother, Ashli Freas, 22, went to a small gathering at a northeast Austin apartment with her boyfriend. It is believed the child got into a bag of Sweet Tarts laced with LSD, and did not start feeling the effects of the drug until returning to his mother's Cedar Park apartment. Freas admits to panicking, but investigators say she waited too long before calling for help. "I freaked out, it was one of those moments where I just I was not thinking coherently at all," said Freas. Capt. Jeff Hayes of the Cedar park police said Freas did not contact emergency personnel for about an hour after she knew her child had ingested candy laced with LSD. "It was not an hour, it was maybe 30 minutes. In the process when we got home we were making phone calls trying to find out what really happened, we were trying to figure out how much he had taken," said Freas. Police said the gathering where the boy ate the LSD was held at the residence of a friend of Freas’ boyfriend. Freas says she doesn't know the exact address of where the party was held, but her boyfriend said he has offered to take police back to the scene.

Mother arrested after three-year-old eats LSD candy

I think alot of the legal issue pertains to how long she waited before seaking help. How would you really know your 3 year old was on LSD though. Maybe she caught him doing hand tracers or playing with one of her lit cigarettes. Pretty cool they're puting LSD in sweet tarts though. When I was in high school we just used sugar cubes and it's not easy to swallow a mouthful of sugar.

Any geeks take depression or anxiety medication?

Good to hear you're drug free. I think a big part of what made me start having anxiety attacks was drug abuse in highschool. I'm pretty sure the amount of LSD I did in high-school (late 80's) made some sort of chemical imbalance in my brain. When I was having a really hard time with it I found that places I had anxiety attacks previously were the hardest for me. A big part of anxiety/panic attacks are the "what if" factor. When you have an attack it is so terrifying that you associate the attack with where you were at. So ofcourse next time you go to the same place you completely psych yourself out which pretty much kicks off an attack. The meds are great and all but I think people are generally too quick to pop a pill to cure a problem. 10 years down the road they end up with some sort of illness related to those meds they took previously. I've found that simple breathing excercises and self relaxation techniques work best for me. There are also lots of natural vitamins and minerals like B12 for instance that really help for alot of people as well. To the thread starter, ofcourse i'm no doctor but I would atleast suggest speaking to a Psychologist about some non-medication avenues before actually going to a psychiatrist and drugging yourself up. good luck mate

Any geeks take depression or anxiety medication?

I've been on all of the above as well as Celexa/Lexapro. They all make your d*ck limp, or give you cold sweats, rashes, the runs, etc. Dealt with the side effects and they helped with the attacks generally. Finally stopped taking all the meds and for a while I had attacks again but it was better then all the side effects. One day I just woke up and actually believed it was all BS in my head. Haven't had an attack in almost 3 years now.

That's great. Jason Terry suspended for Game 6

Why would they want the Spurs to advance. The Spurs in the finals is nielsen suicide. David Stern prays nightly that the Spurs don't make finals so he doesn't lose the millions in ad-revenue that dissapears as a result. The only people outside of Texas that even bother to watch a boring Spurs game do so to see what Eva Longoria is wearing then turn it off.

    Worst actors of all time.

Man she is still smoking hot isn't she. 43 years old Did anyone mention Sylvester Stallone yet? Sure Rocky and Rambo were good movies but they weren't exactly dialogue driven. The guy can barely string together a sentence and has the charisma or a brick. Honorable mentions go to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Keanu Reeves.

    Insomnia Sucks..

Ambien will definitely work but that stuff really jacks you up. You will seriously be awake one minute and then wake up 8-10 hours later with no recollection of the prior night. I'd suggest you do a little exercise during the day to burn off some extra energy that's keeping you up at night. If that doesnt work i'd find the closest female to plug away on or crank one out to Jenna Haze if that wasn't an option. Always works for me

    The Office

Yah Carell definitely makes the show. Also alot of the references they make and just the overall style of comedy of the british show is different. British comedy is generally a little more subtle a indirect. If you asked a brit he would ofcourse swear up and down about how much better the british version it. Basketball is from season 1 though. Season 1 was only 6 episodes from mid March to the end of April in 2005. Season 1 was basically different parts and jokes of all three seasons of the UK office. Most of the plots and 75% of the jokes were pretty much verbatim to the original. Season 2 is when Carell and BJ Novak (Ryan the temp) started doing more of the writing. on another note... Steve Carell is so f'ing brilliant in Anchorman. Finally caught it on HBO a few nights ago and he completely makes that whole movie (along with Christina Applegates arse ofcourse )
