Mad Brad selects @ 11:5: Johnny Knox WR Chi.
-
Dont worry, in october when you jump on the bandwagon I will not call you out for it.

-
Mad Brad's so far...
QB: Tom Brady, Matt Hasselbeck, Matt Leinart
RB: Adrian Peterson, LaSean McCoy, Marion Barber, Marshawn Lynch, Jonathan Dwyer
WR: Dez Bryant, Braylon Edwards, Donald Driver, Santana Moss, Johnny Knox, Mario Manningham, Anthony Gonzalez, Devery Henderson
TE: Visanthe Shiancoe, Jeremy Shockey
K: Garrett Hartley
Defense: Pittsburgh Steelers
A So-So draft I suppose... WR will be my achillies heel again this year, hopefully a couple late round fliers will help this group out in the fall... Only time will tell... Hopefully, not the struggle for a .500 record that last year was...

I own Cotchery in dynasty leagues, and he has been a mainstay on my fantasy football rosters the last few years. He is a reliable high end #2 when playing healthy, and a high end #3 WR when playing hurt. And the guy is a warrior, he takes 1-2 weeks for injury's that other WR's would take 4-6 weeks for.
All that being said, Holmes is a legit stud. He has all the skills to be a true #1 WR for years. He is mainly used as a deep threat, but only because he is fast. He has the hands of a possession reciever.
I do not mind waiting the extra 4 weeks for Holmes to get back. I drafted him as a keeper prospect just as much as his prospect this season.
I liked the pick... I think the Jets will be FF producers this year... I think he would have gone much earlier, minus the 4 game suspension... TW

Mad Brad selects @ 10:2... Visanthe Shiancoe TE Minny

You can't jump in and trade now especially knowing our terms. We'll work the trade out, it's between e-factor and me.
Ok fair enough, looks like I'll just wait it out then... Ya can't blame a girl for tryin'...

D-INC trades 9.9 and 12.09 for 10.5 and 11.8
Monkeys on the clock........
You don't own the 12:9... Singman won't approve that the 12:9 is his pick...
-
How about my 10th and 13th... for your 9th and 23rd...
-
I'll give you my 10th rounder and my 15th rounder... for your 9th round and 23rd round pick... TW

Mad Brad selects @ 9:5... Marshawn Lynch RB Buff.

Sorry Dude he's a Bomber now...

Mad Brad Selects @ 8:8 Marion Barber RB Dallas

Mad Brad selects @ 7:5..... Santana Moss WR Wash

i dunno i'm pretty much on the fence.... they are both pretty weak as WR2. and driver fell off last year when Finley came on... so don't worry about it!
however, if Cotchery sucks and driver has another 70 for 1000 season i reserve the right to ###### about it!

Sorry Dude... I had just woke up, had only one eye open... no coffee yet.. LOL and thought it was my turn... Sorry brother, my bad, I'll pay more attention next time... TW
ps. I actually think J. Cotchery is the better draft pick there, but I have Braylon already. I thought D. Driver (or K. Britt) was the next best option at this point in the draft...
-
hey, i'm pretty sure i got jumped here. I was actually considering between Cotchery and Driver.
I guess I'll go with Cotchery.... driver is getting pretty old, and this will keep things moving.
6.7 - Cotchery
Oh Walker Dude... I'm sorry my bad... Do you want driver instead ???? TW
-
Mad Brad selects: Donald Driver GB WR
-
sorry guys I had my lungs filkled with fluid today and wasn't lucid until now if thats what I am now -- I just took a rookie as my #2 rb after actually thinking P. Thomas was still therew and making a totally stupid trade to get him. not good day for mozzy on many levels
Sorry dude... I had a feeling something was wrong???? Are you ok???
Positive vibes dude... I hope your ok... TW

Paging Moz... Come in Moz....

I never go in with a list, i just go in having an idea of guys i am going to target. This early year is tough because training camp and preseason greatly has an effect on rounds 5 and later.
I grab a cheetsheet from places I like, but generally go off instinct as well... The "short list" I was referring to is say for example...
Who did better:
LeSean McCoy vs Colston (the 2 guys I was deciding between in round 2 this year)
Santonio Holmes vs Crabtree (my delimma in this league last year)
With 5 different leagues, that list can have 4 to 10 lines for players vs players... That at the end of the year I look back on... TW
-
I know McFadden and Wallace are risky picks, i need to try for a few high upside guys. Alot of my prior picks and keepers were safer guys that have a lower ceiling. Wallace is my WR #3 behind Calvin Johnson and Steve Smith of the giants. Wallace was a fantasy #3 wr in the #3 wr role, even if he does not improve on his numbers he is not going to hurt my team.
Roll the dice, and go with your gut sometimes... That is FF at it's best... TW
ps. Sometimes I write down 2 guys I am trying to decide between, and at the end of the year I pull out the list and compare how the two did vs. my draft choice... Sometimes it's fun, sometimes not so much...

-
needed a RB but went with the guy with the most talent still there
Stop doing that and take an RB dammit...

ps. You stole my WR AGAIN !!!!
-
Time to rebound from the Mike Wallace pick...
