Cruz an injury waiting to happen (The Gillette Pro Glide curse)
The Hood replied to H-man's topic in FFToday Board
Good call. Cruz and Clay volunteered for the Chunky soup curse as well. Only a matter of time. -
Yeah the Colts should take the ball out of Luck's hands to pound the ball with Trent.
-
They are for real. But this week may not show it. No team playing Seattle the week before has won their next game so far this year. Most have been blown out. Seahawks beat you up on both sides of the ball right now.........seems to be taking a toll on teams the week after. Colts on Monday the latest example.

Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers: In-Game Discussion
The Hood replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
He does it every SD game since Sproles left. Talking about how they miss him. Leaving out the fact SD never used him enough when he was there. Very annoying. -
Did Sproles fumble? watched game and dont remember that?

http://www.nfl.com/videos/new-orleans-saints/0ap2000000262563/Saints-defense-fumble-recovery Just found the video. Yes it was Thomas that fumbled. Sproles was out there in front of Thomas. Guessing the play was supposed to be a lateral to Colsten and then him throw back across the field to Sproles. -

Once the kickoff was fumbled I didn't pay much attention to who it was. Sproles has returned every kick this season so I'd find it odd if he wasn't the one back there. -
What do you need tonight? Colts vs. Chargers
The Hood replied to d'eaux boy's topic in FFToday Board
Need Rivers, Woodhead and T-Rich to score less than 19 combined. Less than 1/3 of their avg points. -
Still looks to be the #4 WR when Johnson is healthy on one of the worst passing offenses Might hit on a deep pass every 5 weeks or so. Don't think he's much of a sleeper.
-
This. Cinn/Buff was on CBS. FOX had the double header this week. CBS may have had to cut away from the game but didn't go to the late one. They went to the post game show I imagine. Think maybe the OP was to dumb to notice he changed the channel.
-
I'd say Spiller. Much more upside. But it was reported that Spiller still had a bit of a limp at practice yesterday. So this week is probably more playing time for F-Jax again like last week.

Giants D has not really been too much worse than the Ravens. All the offense's turnovers have put them in some terrible situations leading to the many more points given up. Per play, Giants D is a little above average. Easy to think the turnovers continue against Bears D but you never know. This is a bad idea.

real talk the cowboys need to get rid of jason witten
The Hood replied to track 1's topic in FFToday Board
Guess they need to get rid of Escobar now too. Pretty obvious if they had no TE's Romo wouldn't have lost this game. -
Not so sure about that. SD has been playing great on offense but can't stop anything on defense. Raiders at home. I think this is a close game for most of it.
-
Smith is 3rd in yds. As many catches as Calvin Johnson. Is the #1 WR for his team now. Leading league with 20+ plays. Ravens haven't shown they are going to be able to run the ball like in the past and even if they do it probably helps him hit more on play action. How the hell is Gordon still on the wire? How small can position limits be that these 2 guys are not on teams???
-
I own both guys too, it's really close. I'd rather have Torrey I think. Ravens trying to use him a little more than just the long bomb guy he's been. Over 85 yds every game so far. Even facing 2 tough pass D's in Houston and Clev. Smith with nicer playoff match-ups of Vikes,Lions, Pats vs Gordon's Pats, Bears, Jets right now.
-
Agree with all this. Rather have Gordon. Definitely wait until after this week to trade. WR's playing against the Bills have been going off. Gordon should have a big week.

This might be one of the dumbest things you've ever said. Which is no small feat. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BettJe00.htm

Peyton Manning is the greatest QB of all time
The Hood replied to Bobbyn2022's topic in FFToday Board
Take out rookie year and injury....... 13 years for Peyton. Colts had a top 10 scoring defense 5 times. Yds given up 5 times in top 11. 15-20 both stats - 3 times. Broncos were #4 and #2 last year. 5 years the Colts D was yes terrible. Not to the level of 49ers defenses for sure but he's had much better defenses than you think. Peyton's had enough of talent around him to be a fair comparison to any QB. -
The best is Gresham has a whole 6 catches and 8 more yds (with a fumble) than Eifert so far and he's bragging about drafting him.
-
After just missing catching like a 30 yd pass he fell hard on his hip, missed a play or 2 but other than that he was out there from what I saw. Flipping between that game and Redzone.
-
I don't recall McCoy or Forte being traded away either so maybe Trent doesn't quite deserve to be compared to them. As a Bears fan and a 3 time Shady owner I can tell you neither is good in pass protection. Shady is too dynamic to take out......but Forte in the past has lost playing time on 3rd downs due to better guys in pass protection behind him. As was all I warned about with Bradshaw since he is so good at it.
-
Trent wasn't playing on some 3rd downs in Cleveland so far this year and ProFootballfocus has him giving up 5 pressures in pass blocking in 2 games most for a RB so far. He doesn't seem to be a very good blocker while Bradshaw has been great at it for his career.. They won't let Trent get Luck killed, if he doesn't get better at blocking Bradshaw will be stealing passing plays.
-
When or where was he so hyped exactly? I seem to have missed it. Once Harvin got hurt while Rice was still dealing with knee problems it was assumed he would be the best WR to own on Seattle I recall. Still may be. But anyone who thought that actually meant high or steady production for a run first and second team was just silly.
-
Maybe because Manning threw 7 Td's last week? Who exactly "underperformed" last week? Who exactly was projected to have a good game last night? I'd say just Brady.....and that was out of nothing but respect. When Edelman is your best WR, it's hard to expect a lot. The second half lack of offense was due more to the pouring rain that what day it was I think. It's true the Thursday games are often ugly or strange due to the short week but I'm not sure there are less fantasy points scored in them.
-
Ouch.....I took Trent Richardson over Shady McCoy in a non PPR.
The Hood replied to dreen626's topic in FFToday Board
He just needs the ball. T-Rich's high ranking this year was in part due to Norv being the O. Cord now with a good track record of highly productive RB's. Absolutely ridiculous that he got 13 carries in a very close game for 3 and a half qtrs while they have Weedon throw 50+ times. You'd have to think they'll make a priority in getting him the ball going forward.
