Went home with my 4 year old to visit my parents this past weekend. They live out in the country and have 5 dogs that have either wandered in as strays or have been found half dead after being abandoned. Up until this past weekend, these dogs have been nothing but great around people. One of these dogs has taken over a golf cart as his own personal crib. If any of the other dogs get near it, he'll growl at them. So I'm packing up the truck to come home on Sunday and getting ready to strap my daughter into the car seat. My daughter says, "Wait, I have to say goodbye to the doggies". She makes her rounds, going up to each dog to say goodbye. She goes up to the last dog, that's sitting in the golf cart, and that focking dog snapped. It's a miracle that my daughter didn't get hurt because that dog was out for blood. My stepdad hears the dog growling, my daughter crying and me yelling and he comes sprinting out of the door that leads into the garage. My daughter is balled up on the floorboard of the golf cart and I'm throwing straight rights to the dog's face. He body checks me half way across the garage, grabs the dog by the cheeks and ears and proceeds to slam him up against the wall a few times. So now the dog's growling and snapping at him. Stepdad walks over to a shelf and puts on a pair of leather gloves and grabs the rake. He chases this dog around the vehicles while I'm checking my daughter for any injuries (there were none luckily). Dog makes a fatal mistake by going back into the garage and back into the golf cart. Now he's cornered. He beat that dog so badly I had to take my daughter into the house so she couldn't see it. As we're leaving, stepdad says, "Well, at least she got to say goodbye to him because that's the last time anyone will see him". The one slightly humorous part of the whole deal was the reaction of the other dogs. They all ran over to one spot in the yard and sat down beside each other in a perfect row with a look on their faces.

Nebraska women’s volleyball filled football stadium with 92,000 fans

Staged as in a special, one time event with the purpose of drawing a crowd like that. So yeah, I guess any event that doesn’t occur at a regular interval is staged. -
Don’t know her age, but when I was around 29-30 years old, I had to host some out of town employees. During a night of karaoke/darts, the oldest of the gals took me outside to smoke some weed. As I didn’t smoke normally, the effect was significant. Long story short, she abused my paranoid corpse later that night. I remember her saying she was a grandmother so at least mid 50s.

Pretty sure NE volleyball was part of the previous record for a volleyball match. Something around 20k?? Think they also have a sellout record ongoing. Staged yes, but that team has a legit cult following. -
Bill Belichick is a Facade. Not a good coach!

QB - Burrow/Goff RB - Taylor/Barkley/Swift/Elliot/Evans WR - Pittman/Pickens/Evans/Moore/Boyd/Valdes-Scantling TE - Engram/LaPorta Assuming Burrow comes back healthy, the QBs are a strength. I expect some decent weeks from Goff now and then. The RBs are a disaster. I caught a break with Barkley signing, then Taylor destroyed it with his holdout/trade request. Barring some unexpected development with Taylor and Zeke, no chance I compete this year with this roster. WR are ok I guess....going RB/RB early will always leave you wanting somewhat at WR. Tried to double up with the KC guys not knowing which one will excel. TE are solid....LaPorta is one of the guys I've been following for months. I could easily see him producing well in that Lions offense...Goff loves his check downs. Overall grade...C- -

UPDATE: Jonathan Taylor: Asking For A Trade - New Contract Extension!

This is what happens when a wanna be GM keeps inserting himself into personnel conversations. He should stay focused on the the latest auction for Courtney Love's old syringes. -

My team is such garbage... - took a risk on Saquon....score! - Joe Burrow....you just know this is going to creep into September - Jonathan Taylor....now asking for a trade and the Colts considering tossing him on the NFI list - Zeke Elliott...this was purely a desperation move, hoping that he steals a few TDs here and there. -
Burst appendix…spent all of September trying to get his weight and strength back. But to your point, even more serious than this one so should be fine.

My biggest beef with this injury…he practiced that day with a compression sleeve on that calf. First time all camp, so there was obviously some soreness or discomfort. As a coach or trainer, why in the f do you even risk it? I’d be chewing some ass if I’m Mike Brown.

Probably would have waited for my 2nd QB except for obvious reasons now. Initial reports I'm seeing are calf strain, which is best case scenario I guess. But I've seen positive reports in the past turn out to be disasters. This guy can't catch a break....COVID, knee rehab, appendectomy, and now this.
