While I don't love him this week, his schedule from 7-14 (minus the bye) offers a ton of potential. Will he take advantage? I'm not sure, but I'm resisting the temptation for better one week options to hold him and hoping he steps up. With Higgins out a couple of weeks, there's a chance he blows up.

He's a hit or miss RB 3 for me.
-
He needs to be aware of the rules. You don't get penalized because he didn't stay on top of it. That's on him.
-
Keep in mind he did just face the worst starting corner in the league this year in Ken Crawley. I'm not saying he's not good, but if you look at what Crawley has given up this year it's outrageous.

The left one is hanging quite a bit lower than the right. Oh, you said Bell news. My bad.

Assuming you have to carry 2 TE, K, Def given your sig? I'd rather start him than Gordon, and Jones as well some weeks. You get bonuses for long scores which helps those two more than Sanders, but I think he is going to be the more consistent option. I like him better in PPR though.

I'd happily take Julio on any of my teams, but I can't spend a first round pick on him. Each season he ends up with strong yardage numbers and has a few amazing games, but at this point the lack of touchdown numbers is to be expected, not seen as an aberration. Will he get 12 td's along with 1300 yards this year (or any year)? It's possible, but not likely given history. Obviously, he is a much better player, but the stats get skewed like they used to with Marques Colston with the Saints. It's crazy what 3 monster games a year can do to boost season long stats. The wins those weeks are great, but I want a 1st round pick to be a consistent, weekly high-floor, high-ceiling guy, and I don't personally feel that way about Julio at this point. It all depends on what's off the board, but I likely wouldn't take him until mid round 2 at the earliest. But that's the beauty of fantasy football; someone else will value him as a top 10 pick, and then we will see who was right.

Let’s talk about 4 rookie RBs with 3-5th rnd value and RB1 upside.

I think Jones in Tampa definitely needs to be on this list. I think he and Guice have the best chances to do something this year in terms of fantasy football. I don't necessarily love any of the rookie backs to be consistent performers, but these two should be able to beat out their main competition for carries and play on teams where the coaches would ideally like to have one main back for at least 1st and 2nd downs. -
What should my auction draft limit/salary cap be with 10 teams....
cotarice12 replied to tubby_mcgee's topic in FFToday Board
Especially in a 2 QB league, I'd recommend $250 for a 20 player roster. Most positions other than QB usually end up close to standard auction values, so the league can use websites' data to help them. QB's are pretty inflated in 2 QB, but an average player value per player of $12 or so works well. -
If Ridley ends up being a high-end WR2 or even a WR1 down the road, and that 1st round 2019 pick hits, then two years from now this trade wouldn't even be an issue. Would I do it if I was team A? No. But I've got no issue with it being allowed. Veto should only be used in rare cases that involve an obvious dump and/or collusion.

I need Freeman to be the week 15 version of Todd Gurley (37 points).

If you don't have one of the maybe 5 truly decent TE's this year I think you take a shot. Or if you can carry two.

Would you consider sitting Martin for any of these guys ?
cotarice12 replied to snatchit's topic in FFToday Board
A guy in the league I dropped Martin in picked him up and started him in a must-win game this week. Needless to say, his 4 points weren't enough. -

I cut Martin this week in one league for Alex Collins, who got dropped last week. Pretty bad when I think Collins has a better chance to score. -
Westbrook and Golliday are both the best bets. Corey Coleman may be useful late if he's still out there too. If you have an IR spot open, maybe Malcolm Mitchell of NE as a possible stash (not if you have to burn a roster spot for him though) Mike Williams of the Chargers may see an increased role late in the year. Dontrelle Inman should grab some targets every week from here on out for Chicago. Chester Rodgers from the Colts, though his schedule is pretty rough.

I grabbed Burkhead in two leagues this week ( .2 and .5 ppr ). In the half-point league I chose to go after him over Lewis. I like Lewis better this week, and he's a solid guy rest of schedule, but Burkhead might get 6-12 carries and 3-7 catches each week. Even in a non ppr, yardage totals should be similar to Lewis, and I like his chances for red zone scores (from the 5-10 yard line) if the defense takes away Gronk. Lewis or Gillislee should get true goal-line carries, and I could be wrong and White gets the looks I just described above for Burkhead, but I think Rex gives the Pats the most versatility in those situations because he is a quality power runner when needed and White hasn't been. He hides what they will do a bit better. All that said, it's New England and you don't even know who will be in the game plan week to week. White only saw 11 snaps last week and Gillislee was inactive. This week either could see heavy usage. Some of us are forced to gamble on this backfield, but unless you have to, I'd try to avoid it.

I've got both of these guys in a couple leagues and they've been exceptionally frustrating to own this year. Murray has been constantly banged up, and Henry is only useful if he gets a goal line score. The team's run blocking has been poor all season, and I keep waiting for them to pick up but it just hasn't happened so far. With guys like Drake and Williams, among others popping up on the wire, when is it the better move to cut bait with the Titans and take a shot with a free agent? I'm not sure anyone is actually better than them, but eating two roster spots while waiting for some actual production is driving me nuts. What does the board think?

When is it time to let go of Murray/Henry?
cotarice12 replied to cotarice12's topic in FFToday Board
Trade deadline has passed in both leagues I have them in. I shopped them pretty aggressively, but all I got were lowball offers. Seems the rest of the owners didn't want the problem any more than I did. -
Well, if you meant "breakdown" instead of "breakout" you were right.
-
It depends on your scoring setup, but I like the Chargers as a sleeper at home against Denver, minus Emmanuel Sanders. They'll get run on like always, but sacks and turnovers could be there..

Week 3 Sneaky Start of the Week...Kenny Stills
cotarice12 replied to RaiderHaters Revenge's topic in FFToday Board
I think this is an excellent call. I like him either way, but has huge upside if Parker is out. -
I think we all know that Tolzien is terrible, and the rest of that team has major issues (defense without Davis, o-line etc.). With Luck looking like he could be on the shelf for multiple weeks still, what is everyone doing with Hilton? If trying to trade, what are you looking to get for him? With Luck, he's a top 10 WR, but without him you can't even feel comfortable starting him.

TY Hilton - Value? What are owners doing with him?
cotarice12 replied to cotarice12's topic in FFToday Board
I do think Hilton will be better with Brissett in there, but needs Luck back to become a #1 again. I could have waited it out, and probably would have, but as an Elliott owner I wanted to get some level of insurance in case the NFL somehow gets his court dates expedited. In this league it's easier to find WR help than RB help. -

I ended up trading him for Marshawn. I think i'm okay with that. -
I think the Raiders vs the Jets is a solid play.
