"Creep" is one thing. Saying they would systematically abuse 12 year old girls is quite another thing.
So calling folks pedophiles in a tweet is "no harm no foul" now?

Yep, same boat here. Ticketbastard sure held that cash in limbo for a long long time until RW finally announced new dates.

So one day she accuses Trent Reznor of abusing 12 year old girls and then says oopsie I'm sorry? Focking b1tch wh0re.
As for Reznor, At least? HE’S talented but still a creep. I’ve never seen so much systemic abuse of kids, girls as young as 12, by him and his crew, we all (the members of Hole) witnessed it. -
Just now, TBayXXXVII said:Generally, schools in NJ don't start until after Labor Day, so technically, they don't need to add that on the calendar. Schools in NJ usually run the Wednesday after Labor Day through the 2nd week of June... so, Labor Day and June 19th won't actually need to be on the school calendar.
C'mon man! Don't let facts ruin a perfectly good raciss joke!

I'm surprised nobody made a joke about how "Labor Day" offends black men.
You people are slipping.

Any names which contain an apostrophe - or are a misspelling of a common name - are a dead giveaway.

Sounds like all movies must now hire someone with a Sherwin Williams paint swatch showing all the different colors from white all the way to pitch black. Walk around the set and make sure each color gets a check mark.

Would never fly.
I opened this thread to post the same thing.
I would say the same about MLK Day, but everything pushed on us nowadays runs completely opposite of what he preached and stood for.

Not sure how it is elsewhere in the country, but I tend to still see a lot of Bernie 2016 and 2020 bumper stickers. Usually they're plastered on the back of Subaru Outbacks. I also see them on crappy cars outside of sbux, so I'm assuming they belong to the baristas rather than the customers.

I never did that again.
Ah, I see you went with the Pizza Supreme cut!

That was his first movie? Helluva way to bust his cinematic cherry.

4 minutes ago, Voltaire said:On the plus side, it looks like it's Jill Biden who has the remote controller, not Kamala Harris. She leads her donkey husband around as if on a leash. Not that I know much of anything about what Jill believes beyond community college, only that she's not Kamala, which in 99% of cases is an upgrade and so, I'll take those odds.
Andrew Klavan theorizes that since that Border Czar Harris has never been to the border, and never talks about the border, it seems she never wanted that responsibility and the position was thrust on her against her will.
That's DOCTOR Biden to you!!!

He actually said that? (I didn't watch that video yet)

My favorite is that "these surveys are anonymous"... Yeah right...
They might as well be telling us "it's OK, baby, just the tip" or "I don't have a rubber but I'll pull out".

Another doozy is they send out yearly "engagement surveys". These surveys come from a 3rd party company - to make it appear impartial I guess - with a link you're supposed to follow in order to take the survey. Hmmm... An email from someone I don't know asking me to click on a link? Sounds kosher to me!!!!
And then they are surprised when nobody takes the focking survey!!!!

@KSB2424- are you sure you're not going to miss working for a big company?
I just got a great email from corporate HR. Basically they're asking me to update my profile since I dont have a personal email listed. Supposedly they can use this to reach me in case of major weather event or any type of emergency situation? (Though if they really cared they already have all my phone numbers - including company phone - on file). In the past our company would send out "gotcha" emails to try and trick employees into falling for phishing attempts. I'm guessing folks like me no longer trust any emails from HR as this is the first line in the email:
"Please rest assured this is an official XXXXXX email communication and not a phishing or SPAM email"
Uh... Isn't this EXACTLY what someone phishing would say in an actual phishing email???

Whenever we check in at the hospital we still get covid screening stickers that say "flatten the curve".
The hospital either purchased a fock ton o' stickers back in the beginning days or else nobody could come up with a catchier slogan.

The best advice my Dad ever gave me when graduating college was to put as much into 401(k) each paycheck that I could live with as soon as I was able. I took his advice and have maxed my % contribution since Day One. Zero concerns over retirement as it approaches.
I have since passed that advice onto my kids.

We had been working hard to get our house ready to sell and our open house was Saturday, so our job was done anyway. Apparently we did OK as we got an offer $10K above asking, looks rock solid too, pre-approved and no contingencies. That being said I’m not thrilled with our agents (a team of two) as they’ve goofed up the timing of things and I felt like we could have gotten a lot more traffic, and maybe more offers which could create a little bidding war. It’s hard to complain when you get what you ask, but I can do it anyway.
This week is going to be the hottest in Phoenix in years — 116 to 118 most of the week. Those of us who live here think of July and August as the worst; heck maybe September since we are sick of it by then, but June actually has the hottest temps on record. June is dryer as well. Stupid global climate whatever.
I must've missed posts from you regarding moving. I'm assuming you're staying in AZ? Downsizing since your kids are grown?

I haven't read anything about how the passing of the actress who played Aunt Pol will impact the final season. Did she pass after filming was largely complete? If they needed to make major plot changes then that'll suck because her character played a pivotal role.

We've got four blocks in Seattle that you just saw pictures of that is more like a block party atmosphere. It's not an armed takeover. It's not a military junta. We will - we will make sure that we can restore this.... We could have the Summer of Love.

True enough. After my post I realized you were simply pointing out that Reznor might be a d1ck, and that statement didn't necessarily mean you condone everything that she wrote.
