I'm also not looking to get some strange (old) poosay on the cruise. It's more about the convenience of seeing multiple countries without having to deal w travel in-between locations.

No idea. We're both 54 so it's not like we're youngins anymore.

The wife and I are starting to kick around ideas for a Europe trip this summer.
I've seen the commercials for Viking River Cruises and was wondering if any of you homos have ever booked a vacation w them.
If so would you recommend? Any feedback on your experience?
Thanks.

Too bad he destroyed his career via that über ghey video for "Rock Me Tonite".

I took my son and his GF (both mid 20s) as a Christmas gift; she is a Tool fan and it seemed like a good way to bond with them as a couple, while seeing a bucket list band for me. Thing is, she knows the better-known songs (like the ones I listed), as do I and I would guess most of the attendees. If you are going to play half of your concert from your new stuff, you should be better about the older stuff. Then again, going against the grain is a very Tool thing to do.
I had researched the expected playlist and familiarized myself with the songs. If you go, I suggest the same.
I've seen TOOL several times on their last couple of tours.
I was surprised that this most recent one was still so Fear Innoculum heavy since they had previously toured for the album. Perhaps this tour is considered the 2nd leg of that tour?
I was pleasantly surprised by the setlist they performed at Aftershock back in Oct. This would have been more to your liking as it had fewer Fear Innoculum songs.

I always found your mom to be very honest.

Does climate change also make you think you're a woman when you have a cack?

Agreed

So sorry to hear this. Having to put down a pet is so hard, but is an eventuality every pet owner has to face.

Maybe a pissed off white liberal that knows what's best for Native Americans and is protesting the Chiefs nickname.

That's why I suggested them to you.

Flying down to see HAKEN in LA this weekend.
Earlier this week I bought a ticket to see a band called Wheel. Finnish band which has some TOOL-like vibes.
Show is at a tiny venue in May so should be fun. Tickets were only $15. Fun to see at checkout that the "service fee" for purchasing online was almost 50% of the ticket price ($7.48)! Fockers.
@jerryskids - I believe they are playing in PHX area so you might want to check them out.

We have softened the negative consequences for bad choices so people keep making them. We get what we subsidize, surprize.
I have noticed before that I seem to rub you- the wrong way. You seek the worst interpretation of my remarks rather than taking them at face value. If I insulted you I do not remember, but I apologize. I feel no need to get into it with you. frankly your reaction to me surprises me. my memory of our interactions is that I have supported you and have always been respectful, but i do know I can be caustic and perhaps i was once with you.
I think you should message her to see if she's down for some MUA.

I thought “pop” was a southern thing. My relatives from Maryland said “pop”. My grandfather always labeled them as southern trash.
Your wife is a good woman for saying soda, but she's in the minority in Western NY.

1 hour ago, TommyGavin said:I should not of said NYC. Everyone in NY says boxes not squares! We’ll deal with the city/state thing another time DonS !
Odd that when I lived in NY I never heard anyone call it boxes, though.
Maybe it's like the "soda" vs "pop" thing? In my part of NY (Binghamton) everyone says soda. My wife is from Rochester and there they says pop.
-
1 hour ago, TommyGavin said:Ha. Come to NYC and say squares. You’ll be looked as a phag. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Yet another example of why the rest of New York State would be better off without NYC.

4 minutes ago, Herbivore said:No offense to Ghost, but that song is right in the metal grammy wheelhouse.
No argument there. Just mentioning that they previously won for their own music.
Edit: I've always felt like BÖC was a reasonable comparison for Ghost.

But when these folks start working 2 menial jobs to make rent it will be a net win for job creation!!!!

3 hours ago, Herbivore said:This is correct. They just don't know what to do with metal. I don't like Ghost, but they are a good worthy band, why have their nod be a cover. There are some good interesting songs on that Paramore album, but its not a rock album. It would be nice if there were a few additional categories, like I saw that there is a melodic rap category. How about an extreme metal category?
Agreed that if rap can have multiple categories then it would make sense for something similar for metal. Need a progressive metal category fo sho!
Ghost did win a Grammy several years ago for their song Cirice.
Public Service Announcement!

Saw the movie in the theater. Absolutely awesome.
A few observations:
+ Florence Pugh likes to show her tittays. They're small but she gets an A for effort
+ Favorite scene was scientists trying to determine "safe" distance given limited data and the technology available at the time
