Agreed. You made the right move. Good Luck!

I'm in the 10th year of a 12 Team PPR Dynasty League. We start 1 QB and 5 (RB + WR) with a maximum of 3 RBs at once. I'm considering trading Chris Johnson for Mark Ingram and Greg Jennings Would you do this deal? Johnson is one of those guys that I get sick of routing for, because I can't stand him as a person. Now, I'm wondering if his play to begin a slow decline now that he's been paid. Or, if he could suffer some sort of hamstring injury after missing most of camp (obviously, there's no way to know this). Also, I think Ingram is a fantastic talent. My current relevant roster: QB: Matthew Stafford Matt Ryan RB: Chris Johnson Arian Foster Javon Ringer Ben Tate Fred Jackson Rashad Jennings Delone Carter WR: Calvin Johnson Mike Wallace Kenny Britt AJ Green Thanks for your thoughts. I'll answer yours!

PPR: 12-Team Dynasty League (in 10th year) Scoring: Passing TDs worth 4pts. All other TDs worth 6 pts. After trading pretty much all of my depth for Arian Foster (traded Shonn Greene, Nicks, and Mike Williams for Foster and change), I'm looking to add another RB option and adding another option at QB. We start 5 RB + WR with no more than 3 RBs at once. Relevant Parts of my Current Roster: QB: Matt Ryan RB: Arian Foster (and Ben Tate) Chris Johnson (and Ringer) Jon Stewart Fred Jackson Rashad Jennings WR: Calvin Johnson Mike Wallace Kenny Britt Rookie Draft Picks: #2 overall (planning on taking AJ Green) Would you do this deal? I love Stewart's potential, but have grown frustrated with him and also like Stafford's potential and Bush's pseudo-potential. Leave a link and I'll answer yours! Thanks

It's a dynasty league, and Stewart is generally considered to have among the most upside of any RB in the long-term. Bush, meanwhile, has had one of the more disappointing fantasy careers of the past decade. This offer has been made to me. Not sure if I want to accept it. Stewart has shown that he has the ability to run wild on any defense if/when he gets a shot at being the every down back.

Fantastic looking team. The only potential shortcoming I see is at TE, but most teams will be pretty average there. QB is risky just because Stafford is always a big injury risk. And, screw the people questioning the validity of your league. There's usually pretty good reason for the way that drafts go.

A lot of good options there. I think I'd go with Greene out of that group. Moreno and Mathews could both lose a lot of goalline carries, and I think the Jets will heavily rely on Green this year - more so than Blount. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=386515

This is tough because both guys could miss significant time this year. I like your reasoning of backing up DeSean Jackson, but ultimately I'd hold onto Crabtree. I don't think "handcuffing" WRs typically works that well, and just think Crabtree is much more likely to be productive this year than Smith.

Looks very strong to me for 12 ppr. A bit thin at rb perhaps, but your starters are strong. WRs are strong too, and Im guessing you got good value for Matt Ryan given the other guys on the roster. I like Ryan a lot this year.

Hey Guys, Looking for a little input here. I'm in a 12 team PPR Dynasty League. I've been offered DeSean Jackson for Pierre Thomas - I'm tempted to take it, but can't quite pull the trigger. We start 5 players who are either RB or WR (can't start more than 3 RBs). Current relevant Starters: RB: Chris Johnson Shonne Green DeAngelo Williams Jon Stewart Pierre Thomas Michael Bush Ahmad Bradshaw WR: Calvin Johnson Austin Miles Hakeem Nicks Given that I only have 3 WRs, I'm thinking it might be worth trading some of the RB depth for a more solid WR corp. But, I also think Pierre could have a big year now that Bell is out of the picture. Any thoughts? Should I make this trade or sit tight? Thanks - I'll answer your questions.

He's going number one in my league. Only an ACL tear will change that.

This site looks awesome on the IPhone! Works great too.

I think Rice #1 is a great idea. If anything, I think Boldin may help his numbers by stretching the field a bit more, and he's a great blocker for a WR. Is the 'C. Johnson' you mention Calvin or Chris? Either way, I think Rice is a strong pick. I'd consider Chris there as well, but if it's Calvin, then Rice is the best pick.

Dynasty League. Being offered Charles and Reggie Bush For DeSean Jackson & Greg Jennings Others on my team: RB (Start up to 3): Jon Stewart & DeAngelo Williams Pierre Thomas Chris Johnson Tashard Choice WR: Miles Austin Calvin Johnson DeSean Jackson Greg Jackson Another potential offer would get me Charles and a guy like Percy Harvin For Calvin Johnson and Greg Jennings? Any thoughts or advice (other than post it on the 'Little Help Board')?

Thanks for your input, Cara. It is a 12 team PPR league, so I've got a strong grip on the WR position compared to most other teams. I was kinda leaning the same way, but the lure of getting another RB like Charles is tempting. To answer your question about lineup requirements, we start a combination of 5 (RB + WR). The maximum number of RBs you can start is 3. So, I typically try to start 3 RB and 2 WR. With my current team, a starting lineup would likely look like: Chris Johnson DeAngelo Williams (or Jon Stewart - whichever is healthy that week) Jamaal Charles Miles Austin Calvin Johnson with a Bench of: Pierre Thomas DeSean Jackson Greg Jennings Thanks Again!

Good Lord. Half of my guy friends are better looking than her... ETA: I've got some ugly freakin friends too.

This Recliner Pilot idiot is still here? I come to this site about once every 2 or 3 years...then, inevitably leave because of the moronic posts by guys like this, GFIAFP, and some other political moron that I can't remember right now. What's that other political moron's name? He sucks worse than Recliner Pilot. Oh, that's gonna bug me... -
This really shows how pathetic Tony Romo is. An inferior WR cries about not getting the ball, so now Romo won't throw to Austin? What, is Romo 6 years old? He's afraid to make Williams upset? Way to be a leader, Tony. Forget about winning, just make sure you don't upset your 4th best WR!!

What week is your championship? It seems rare that they'd shut a guy down prior to week 17. If your championship is week 16, you should be good. I'd say take the trade if it looks good for your team's needs. Thanks for mine.

Westbrook's value is clearly limited for the long term, but any thoughts on what he's worth giving up for a playoff run this year? Guy's I'm considering: Chris Wells Roddy White DeSean Jackson Greg Jennings * I also have Calvin Johnson, so a good amount of depth at WR Any thoughts on what would make sense? Thanks, and I'll answer yours.
-
Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking Roddy might be the best bet right now too. FYI, the Westbrook owner has one of the worst and oldest teams in the league. He's pretty desperate to get something for Westbrook before he goes away. I suppose it's not impossible that Westy could be back and good next year too though...

I think you're actually giving up more than I would in this deal. While Bush isn't likely to help you too much this year, I think SJax is too valuable for Westbrook and LT (who I have virtually no confidence in). To answer your question, I definitely don't think your offer would be unfair. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=355013
