  1. Summer is a busy time for us too, especially as school is getting ready to start up soon. This would be one argument towards having the rookie draft shortly after the nfl draft!
  2. I like how he disappeared after making that post, it is almost as if he is trolling
  3. I like Elijiah Sarratt pick by CBFalcon. He has been going earlier in other dynasty league rookie drafts. Mark Andrews is getting older and the #2 pass catching option in this offense will be up for grabs soon. If Sarratt develops then he could be that option. If he doesn't develop then no harm since it is a late round rookie pick. I like the Jake Tonges pick by Sux. Nobody on this offense can stay healthy and Tonges was the #9 TE in fantasy last year when Kittle missed time. If Kittle suffers a setback then Sux could have gotten a startable TE in round 4 of rookie draft. Good flyer.
  4. I like Brennan Thompson alot. He played in the SEC against real cornerbacks and had an extremely high win rate verse press man coverage. If you just looked at his measurables you would think no way he could play outside, however i think there is a decent possibility. His problem is they already have a young, crowded receiving core. I have him in couple dynasty leagues although they are deep leagues and I also have Ladd in those same leagues. He is kind of a cheap handcuff i can put on my taxi squads. I also like eli Raridon as a flyer. He is a protypical TE that unlike most of this years Tight end class he can actually block. His problem and the reason he fell is both real life draft and fantasy drafts are the two ACL tears. I have him in a couple dynasty leagues already, so i am rooting for him. I would have loved to have gotten him in the 3rd with my tight end situation.
  5. I wouldn't have chosen Sadiq at 1.11, I don't want a jet on my team. Sadiq is not a good blocker and Mason is that limits Sadiq to more of a big slot type role, however Cooper is also best utilized from the slot. I think Frank Reich is bottom tier offensive coordinator that will be lucky to produce 2 semi decent fantasy options. Browns aren't much better with a bottom 3-5 QB, however they should put boston as the X receiver which he won't be able to win a whole lot in that role and will be just running wind sprints. I think KC and fannin will have more of a concentration of targets, esp since judkins is a below average receiver. KC concepion was excellent at getting wide open, however didn't have the best of hands. I think just getting wide open will lead to targets. Long term i like browns slightly better than jets as well, but not much.
  6. Oops, I only sent 55, not 57. Didn't check this. Although I think i asked for ~20 dollars to be used on "charity" from last season, hopefully 2 dollars can be pulled from that.
  7. Yes, sorry I don't check this site as frequently. But will start now that we are closer to the draft.
  8. Overton window is complete BS, there are many distinct issues and one's stance on corporate taxes shouldn't influence ones stance on environmental protections, abortion, or any other issue. Plus, socially we have been moving more left, however many of our corporate tax laws, etc are getting much more friendly to large businesses. For example we are getting many monopolies pushed through by our courts that were not pushed through years ago. https://www.wsj.com/business/media/justice-department-decision-to-allow-paramount-deal-surprised-staff-investigators-a18f70da If you only look at overton window as it relates to corporate governance we have been moving right very quickly in last 10 years, giving all of the power to large companies. This is why the overton window is bull . It only matters to people who blindly agree with everything their side does, instead of looking at each individual issue.

  10. Too little too late. 16% of average snowpack in colorado right now
  11. 90% of Buc-ees are TERRIBLE. The lines are way too long, they back up the offramps/onramps. The food is average at best and quite expensive.
  12. Everything going well?

We are missing 2 from the people I can't notify, and we are probably missing cbfalcon, which means we are missing 2 others. Maybe Bigtraine and raiderhaters?

  17. @Let Da Big Dog Eat @SUXBNME @Gypsybrat @mmmmm...beer @Bigtraine @kutulu @Bier Meister @RaiderHaters Revenge @cbfalcon not sure on last 2, en fuego and KLSTRPHNKY
  18. We need to get some traction if this league is going to continue. We need to vote on rules, something that hasn't happened the last few years. Instead everyone shows up right before the draft and none of the proposed rule changes were ever really considered. Lets even see if we should continue this league. I made the poll public in case someone not in the league votes.
  19. The company I work for had 10% layoffs 2025, 25% in 2020, and 30% in 2015. At one point in 2015 me and one other person had an entire floor to ourselves. Every time I knew it was coming. 50/50 we have a small reduction this year of 5-10% is my guess. Will know more soon based on global conditions.
  20. 1. The stopping of the keystone pipeline actually helped lower the price of gasoline in north-central US. The reason this is the case is because Canada wanted to sell their oil on the global market, the pipeline was to get the oil sands to gulf coast refineries where the majority of refined goods is exported to global markets. However, since they could not get their oil to global market they were actually forced to sell it more locally to northern US at suppressed prices. 2. This seems like a talking point, I know Biden's administration banned some areas from drilling that would never have been drilled anyways. But there were no new regulations on the oil/gas industry that effected us the last 4 years. 3. How would green energy hurt gas prices? Wouldn't it lower the price of gasoline. If you keep supply the same and lower demand it decreases price. Adding green energy to the grid and having a percentage of the population that is able to switch to electric vehicles would be good for gasoline prices, however it would have opposite effect on electricity prices. If you increase the demand of electricity by adding electric vehicles to the grid, then it would be upward pressure on electricity prices without adding additional electricity supply. Sorry, going to have to get back to work. If you respond, I won't answer until much later today.
  21. I don't believe that chart without a link to a study by an economist from a reputable organization such as MIT, Princeton, etc. Like I responded to cyclone, I don't believe the words that a poltician says and I don't trust random stats on the internet. Sorry.
  22. I don't believe the words out of politicians mouths, I look at their actions.
  23. It went up, and economists directly tied some of the inflation directly to the inflation reduction act. However, this is not a topic that interests me like oil/gas prices. I don't want to research articles to find out exactly how much inflation was caused by the bill.
  24. Keystone pipeline was incredibly unpopular amongst democrats, so Biden did play a part in killing that, however drilling did greatly expand while he was in office. To be fair he suffered from dementia, but his decision making process could be described as flip/flopping. When the public started crying about gas prices then drilling expanded greatly. Hardly the policy of someone who was anti-oil.
