Housh v Djax, both injured.... who do YOU start/sit?
sdw2000 replied to Long Beach Ravens's topic in FFToday Board
Don't worry about Housh, as far as whether he is playing or not. I've owned him the last couple of years and realized quickly that even though he's listed on the injury report every single week, he always plays....and usually is productive. Seattle spread the ball around last week, so Housh didn't get the number of catches that he typically got per game as a Bengal, but I'm expecting better numbers today. -
If he doesn't, it won't be much different (points wise) than the last 3 weeks I've started him!

I actually did something similar a couple of years ago. I'm in IT and we were rolling out about a hundred new Blackberries to staff. I pulled one out the the box, was about to take it out of the little plastic bag it comes in when it slid out on it's own, right into my coffee mug full of coffee that was on my desk - fully submerged. I sent my boss (who was at home resting a bad back) an email about it and he said that it made him laugh so hard he almost passed out from back pain. I quickly pulled it out, set it aside for a couple of days in the hope that it would dry out and be fine. It seemed to work when I turned it on so I gave it out to a user. It never really worked right, but the guy didn't use it much and we eventually replaced it due to a bad keyboard.

I take 200 mg a day for rheumatoid arthritis. I've had arthritis for about 11 years, the first medications I had were NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), which worked for me but can be really hard on the stomach although I had no problems. Celebrex is only a small risk to the stomach and works well for me, so I've been on it for about 4 months now. Without it, I'd be reduced to walking around like an old man in about a week, it was awful before I was diagnosed. Celebrex is apparently much more expensive than NSAIDs, although I've got medical so that's not an issue for me.

A ha! Gotcha....thanks!

Little Help? Do you create it in the Message Board Area by clicking Post Message? I can't find anywhere to create a new story.

You didn't get LJ I guess? I kept Holmes and made sure (took him a bit early) I got LJ too. It got a little messy when they were both sharing time, I even considered starting both for a while, but it was all good when Priest was hurt. I even had a chance to trade Priest the week before he was out, but I wimped out. Of course my Bulger and D. Jackson keepers hurt me.
-
Yeah, couldn't the guy get more than Johnson for those two guys?
-
When everything just comes together: Bulger out, started my backup Brooks - 2 td J. Jones out, picked up Kyle Johnson from waiver wire - 1 td Injuries at WR, started Gaffney - 1 td, started Evans - 1 td Started Edinger - game winning 56 yd FG. This along with Holmes and S. Moss = slaughtering my head to head opponent. Now I feel really good about my team, which will mean they'll suck next week.

Enter the actual points that you award for the distance. So you'd be putting an 8 in 50-60 and all the ranges above that. I don't think you can change the ranges, but it's easy enough just to enter 8 everywhere that it applies. You also would have to enter 6 for all the ranges below 50. I'm not a compiler expert, but I used it last year and just bought it this year. After you set it up, compile your cheatsheets and make sure they look right.

No worries, I did the Paypal thing and it's a breeze....let the projecting begin!!

Sorry, this has probably been asked a lot, but: I'm not familiar with PayPal and don't have an account. Do I HAVE to create a PayPal account to purchase the compiler with my credit card? I will if I have to but I've heard that it takes a while to set up. By the way, I used the compiler a couple of years back and it was good. It looks like it's been improved a lot since then and combined with the Draft Buddy, it's well worth the purchase price... I can't wait to start using it.
