I am in the same position, I will be drafting first in a 12 team PPR league. I just have a feeling that LT is going to be an average RB this year, and AP is going to have more than a few games with 50 yards and no score. So I have proposed a simple trade with the guy drafting 6th (and also 5th and 7th, but don't tell them). I am high on a certain RB that is probably going to go in the mid to late first round. I not going to say who it is because that just biases opinions of this scenario, but if you must know I've posted recently regarding him. On draft day I select LT, as everyone expects. If the guy drafting 6th comes to his pick and my guy is available we do the deal. I trade LT (1st pick) and my second round pick (24th) for his 1st round (6th) and 2nd round picks (18th). I get who I want and move up 6 spots in the second round. He gets LT and moves down 6 spots in the second round. It's simple and I think it's fair. Thoughts?

I am in a 12 team PPR league. I have drawn the 1st draft position. I don't think LT or AP are going to be the best backs this year, I am pretty high on MBIII. My plan is to trade the picks from the first 2 rounds with someone (down to 3rd or 4th, if possible). That way I can have Barber and improve my second pick by a couple spots. My questions are: Do you think Barber is worth an early 1st round pick? Should i just pick LT and forget about Marion? Anyone care to comment?

It sems like the roof is not totally retractable, the hole in the roof makes it look more like Texas Stadium. I thought it would be like Miller Park - the whole roof opening to allow full sun onto the field - no problem growing grass even being much further north.

perhaps I wasnt clear. The retractable roof makes perfect sense. I have a problem with retractable TURF, It seems silly to me.

I can understand a retractable roof, but turf? There are all kinds of golf courses in AZ that keep their fairways green with no trouble. Why do you need to retract the field? Seems like a huge waste of money. Maybe we could use something like that "up north"? someone explain it to me, please!

Big Ben had emergency abdominal surgery 15 days ago. Today he had a fever of 104! What doctor is giving him the go ahead to play? There are serious and significant risks to playing (internal bleeding, hernia, peritonitis, infection, etc). And what are the rewards - A GAME. A GAME MEANT FOR ENTERTAINMENT. They always say team doctors have the players health as their first priority THAT'S A JOKE. I pray he makes it through tonight.

Watch the game tomorrow and compare the blocking for Ronnie vs that for Ricky. Granted the blocking isn't good for either but they're whiffing when Ricky gets the ball. I don't think they've forgiven him for his b.s. and neither have I -he's getting cut on Tuesday morning.
