so i was bored and wrote this, so if any of yous have some free time, was looking to hear some opinions about it. i know you guys are harsh, so who better to ask anywho, i hope it good and doesnt suck, but tell me if does or doesnt http://pretentioussoup.blogspot.com/

    Dateline

what truely amazes me is how many of these guys send the underage girls a picture of their weiner. why do around half the guys do that? like, does that ever work in picking up a chick?
  4. ok, i'm the commisioner on a yahoo league, and here's where the problem lies: one guy in the league has chicago's defense and he was rewarded last night with 6 points for devin hester's fg td return. but 2 weeks during the chicago arizona game, devin hester returned a td on a punt return, and he wasnt rewarded any points for it. now the guy is getting pissed, because he is saying that why did the punt return not count for any points (and if it did count for points, he would have won that week), but the fg return last night counts for 6 points? i really have no explaination for him on why one counted and the other didnt. i guess i could say that the punt return was a special teams play, while the fg return, technically the defense scored on that, but i always assumed that fg return was considered a special teams play as opposed to a defensive play. any thoughts on how to explain this? and should i adjust the score from 2 weeks ago? TIA

    REAL EAGLES@BUCS THREAD

you're kidding, right these teams are entirely different. one team has no offense, while the other is the best in the league (statistically), and one's defense is weak (eagles), while the other is relatively strong (bucs)

See.... Vick does kind of suck

yeah, but that happens to every qb in the league from time to time. (and beleive me, those drops pissed me off too b/c i got alge crumpler on my FF team ) sh!t, mcnabb's wrs a few years back used to AVERAGE about 6 drops a game. nothing new. but the fact remains that if a team can get a lead on the falcons where it would force vick to have to throw, the falcons ALWAYS get destroyed. can you think of a worse qb then vick you could have for a 4th quarter comeback?

    REAL EAGLES@BUCS THREAD

i agree with ghost. i actually prefer this system of WR's they got going right now. all of them are very, very good, and it makes it so much tougher for a defensive coordinator to set a gameplan on who to cover more. so far every week this year (not including the saints game), a different player had the most receiving yards and over 100 yards (except green bay) receiving for the eagles (stallworth week 1, smith week 2, brown, then lewis (only 75 yards, but 2 tds), then baskett, then brown again. i prefer this so much more then last years strategy of "throw the ball 50% to T.O. so he doesnt cry like a little biatch" strategy. makes it much harder to defend well. but i agree with you 100% on the defense not being able to stop the big play. its whats killed them all year. the "bend but dont break" philosphy that jim johnson uses has been breaking far too much. honestly, if the eagles did a better job on defense with the homerun plays, they would be undefeated right now (not to take anything away from the saints or giants)

    REAL EAGLES@BUCS THREAD

i see a total blowout. one thing the eagles do really, really, really well over the years has been destroying teams whose qb's have little experience, like gradowski. he'll just not ready for all those blitz schemes jom johnson will throw at him. 31-10 eagles

Wali Lundy to get another shot

as much as i want wali lundy to succeed (he went to my H.S.), he's not starting RB material for the NFL. he's one of those RB's that are good at everything, but great at nothing. but i wish him luck anyway, he's going to need it behind that craptastic O-Line

yeah but if the snap goes to vick, how do you expect schaub to contribute during that play? pass blocking or something ? it'll be a 10 on 11
