I've been playing in this league for 11 years, and can't remember a score over 300, granted the league has evolved in that time. Plus never have had a repeat champion. 16 team auction with IDP. Just been sticking with him week after week, paying off now. This week just blew the up! D. Martin RB TB 42 @ OAK 32 (F) 251 RuYd, 4 RuTD (45,67,70,1), 21 ReYd, 4 Recpt, 25 RuAtt 77 Thats how many points he went for in my league. Along with Marshall and Decker, not a bad day. Have Julio going but he's being pretty much handled. Still have Brees and Celek tomorrow. Might be the first to eclipse 300 pts in a game!

3-4 record with the highest total points scored?
Thre3Deep replied to FloydH's topic in FFToday Board
Well, i'm at 8-6 after starting off 6-0 (play double headers) and currently sit about 3rd in total points. It don't really help when you put up 200 one week and 100 the following week. This week I scored 238 outscoring everyone in my league but the 2 teams I played this week! just dumb luck! lol -

Remember seeing a article on Ken Anderson and was pretty impressed by his statistics and how they stacked up. They talked about the injustice of Ken not being in the HOF. They made a great case. just a snip of the NYT article. Anderson’s statistical resume certainly stacks up nicely against the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Anderson ranks 15th out of 24 in average per pass attempt (7.338 Y.P.A.), just 4/1000th of a yard per attempt behind the great prolific Marino and well ahead of Live Ball Era Hall of Famers such as Elway (7.10 Y.P.A.) and Aikman (6.99 Y.P.A.) Anderson ranks 15th out of 24 in T.D. passes (197) Anderson ranks 12th out of 24 in passing yards (32,838), just 104 yards behind Troy Aikman (who needed 240 more attempts to get those 104 yards) Anderson ranks 11th out of 24 in completions (2,654) Anderson ranks 11th out of 24 in T.D.-INT ratio (1.23 to 1), well ahead of notable contemporaries such as Fouts (1.05 to 1). Anderson ranks 8th out of 24 in career passer rating (81.9), one of the highest marks of any quarterback who played all or part of his career in the Dead Ball Era, and ahead of Live Ball Era Hall of Famers Aikman, Moon and Elway. Anderson ranks 6th out of 24 in completion percentage (59.3) – the most accurate passer on the list among those quarterbacks who spent all or part of their careers playing before the Live Ball Era (1978-present). Remember, this is not how Anderson stacks up against a random collection of quarterbacks. This is how his statistical resume stacks up against the 23 greatest quarterbacks since World War II, those 23 already deemed worthy of immortality in Canton. Who are the current 1st ballot HOF's still playing
Thre3Deep replied to The Moz's topic in FFToday Board
I saw one list with a OL, (steve Hutch), Probably would add Oher, Thomas. But will see. The star positions are obviously the easiest to assemble, but without the big uglies, alot of these records wouldn't be possible. -
Healthy? or Shot?
-
Felix Jones.....High Ankle Daniel Thomas....Something different every week Peyton Hillis....Nuff said Montario Hardesty....Will see Any one else have this kind of luck/
-
One of the funniest replies I've seen on here in a while! If it's a keeper league = Little Just haven't seen enough from the mass guy.
-
Same boat as the rest of you, hopefully Brees will blow it up.

Anyone else get destroyed by Baltimore's D last night?
Thre3Deep replied to browns16-0's topic in FFToday Board
We start IDP's, I had R.Lewis, L.Webb, Although Lewis had a quiet game, Webb's pick 6 and pd's allowed me to defeat the top team. 16 team league, and the winners from the 4 divisions last year are in one division this year. Pretty cool matching up, as we play double headers week in and out. -
Picked him up on waivers mid week, but think I made a mistake in who I dropped...Eric Decker...Decisions we have to make
-
Kept Tony Moe. from previous year, and was looking to get G Olsen in my auction. Didn't work out, but think I might of did one better with Owen Daniels, if he can stay healthy. With D's worried about AJ,AF, look for OD to have a pretty great year.
-
HOpe it's not a big money league
-
I had to veto a trade last night (keeper league)
Thre3Deep replied to cbfalcon's topic in FFToday Board
Dont' think your looking out for the best interest of your league here. I don't see anything wrong with the trade. Team A taking a gamble on CJ, and team B giving up a wr, and just maybe a mid tier rb, who could put up decent numbers. Be interesting to see your scoring system. And what division they play in opposed to you? Bad Beans man.. -
My auction team is in my sig. 40 dollar cap, and we draft 24 players which includes IDP. Either way you shake it out, 40,100,200 dollar cap it all comes down to what your willing to spend and which players you kept from previous year(we can keep up to 10 3yr contracts). Like others said, throw top players out that you aren't interested in. Gotta get money off the board. Have a solid core your willing to target, and keep it to yourself, owners will bid jack you if they know. Remember not all "top" players will be drafter, always that gem on the ww you can find. So if your spread pretty thin at a position watch the 1st week and go on your instinct. and last but not least...STAY SOBER!

Having a Gut Feeling on a player that will blow up
Thre3Deep replied to Superdude's topic in FFToday Board
Brandon Marshall. Sure he gets his receptions, but I'm thinking dd Td's for sure. Especially if Thomas and Bush pan out. Like what I'm seeing from Julio Jones so far, might be in for a much larger year than what he's being projected for. ROY over Ingram? -
Perfect offense for him to thrive and mature in. If Little pans out and Hillis gets spelled. MIght be a decent year for my Browns Of course 8-8 would be decent year if judging against past years
-
How many of you play in 16 team leagues
Thre3Deep replied to GridironGuzzlers's topic in FFToday Board
Been playing in a 16 team (auction) league the past 10 years and love it. Most of the owners are the same, with very little turn over and people waiting to get in. Like one poster said, separates men from boys. To adjust for the scarcity of WW pickups we use IDP's which I believe balances out the small pool of gems in a WW. 10 yrs 1 Championship. playoffs 9 of 10 yrs. -
16 team auction draft..Payouts last year. Obviously the money is generously spread out, and although I would like to see more to the top 3/4 it keeps our league competitive and for the most part the same people coming back. Not much turn over maybe 1 team a year with people waiting to get in. 1ST PLACE = $500.00 2ND PLACE = $250.00 3RD PLACE = $130.00 4TH PLACE = $120.00 5TH THRU 8TH PLACE = $100.00 toilet BOWL WINNER = $100.00

They seem to be moving in a decent direction, hiring experienced minds. Not saying thier the greatest, but seem to be solid aquisistions. Any thoughts.
