How am I doing so far...

Looking ok so far. I don't love TJ, so I'd have to see what WRs and RBs were available in rounds 2, 3 and 4 to say if I approve how you made those picks, but I think you're fine. I think you reached a bit on Vernon Davis, I think you shuold be looking for a solid RB3 if you can in the 9th, unless you've got something nice lined up for WR.

    drafting with idiots

Looks like your team is similar to mine (which you responded to earlier, thanks!) in that you have stud wide outs, but a little thin at RB. I share your concern about Jackson as your second RB--but you did what you could to lock up RBs3-5, one of whom will hopefully emerge. Eli has looked good so far, but I'd be concerned about the second half of the season (i.e. fantasy playoffs) if his past is any indicator. I would keep an eye on free agent QBs this season.

    My Keeper League-10 teams

This draft went differently than I thought it would, and I'm concerned about my depth at RB. RBs went on a prolonged run early (due to keepers, there were not as many RBs available as I'm used to). As a result, in the early rounds, I always felt there were better options available. League is 0.5 PPR, 20 yards per point receiving/rushing 1.8 Larry Johnson, RB (keeper) 2.3 Chad Johnson, WR 3.8 Larry Fitzgerald, WR 4.3 Randy Moss, WR 5.8 Lee Evans, WR 6.3 Deangelo Williams, RB 7.8 Maurice Jones-Drew, RB (Keeper) 8.3 Todd Heap, TE 9.8 Vince Young, QB 10.3 Jon Kitna, QB 11.8 DJ Hackett, WR 12.3 Denver, D 13.8 Alge Crumpler, TE 14.3 Kicker

    Drafted 2 of 10. How'd I do?

The bench is okay, but not overly impressive. I like your starters.
  8. I'm in a 10 team league, and I drafted really well last year, so I've got some tough decisions regarding who to keep. In this league you are required to keep 2 players, and for whoever you keep from last year, you give up this year's draft pick for the round that player was drafted in (I think that is standard but not sure). League scoring is a little screwy, 20 yards per point receiving/rushing, 50 yards/pt for passing, all TDs are 6, 0.5 ppr This year I will have the 8th pick in the odd number rounds and 3rd pick in even number rounds (standard snake-style draft) Here are the players I'm considering keeping, and the pick I'd have to give up. Please help me pick two. 1.8 RB, Larry Johnson 3.8 WR, Marvin Harrison --> probably not going to keep him 7.8 WR, TJ Housh 7.8 RB, Maurice Jones-Drew 9.8 QB, Marc Bulger So basically I need to pick 2 of 3. Housh and Bulger were such great values, and LJ's holdout makes me a little nervous --the draft is in a few days. The only thing is many people will be keeping backs (LT, Gore, Westy and plenty of others I'm sure) so I'm nervous I'd have a RB1 like Travis Henry or something. Let me know your thoughts please, and leave a link for yours if you want. Thanks!
  9. Thanks, I think I'm going to go with the 2 backs! I will be sure to post the final team next week.

    Help with Keeper/Auctino

Not huge on Manning. New to auction format, but I think Kitna, Addai, LJ for $101 is the way to go. 2 stud rbs, plus a nice QBwith potential upside, with $34 to spare. Can you re look at mine (the consenus LJ and HOush keeper) I just remembered I could keep Maurince Jones Drew in exchange for the 7th round pick!) http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry3232777
  11. I forgot I picked up MJD off waivers last year. Let me know if you think Jones Drew in the 7th should replace either LJ or Housh. Thanks so much.

    #1 pick 14 TEAM PPR

Pretty good, but I'd like to see a 4th RB.

    Which 5 Players would you...

I would take Parker, but I think it's really close. With those 3 backs you have a solid solid core, and depth to get you through inevitbale injuries/byes. You don't suffer too much at WR. (I think the drop at WR is less than at RB, however it's more likely to impact your starting lineup week-to-week, hence why the decision is close. In the end, I think b/c players don't stay 100% healthy, you take Willie).

How Would You Feel About This Team?

The team is obviously sick. Do you really need 2 kickers? Also, your TE situation is weak, but I'm not sure it matters. Keep an eye on Owen Daniels or something. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=280607

Yet another how did I do

Very good team. I love your wideouts, and I'm a big Bulger fan. I see your concern about RB depth, but I really think it's only an RB2 issue, as Norwood and Deangelo are some good bench RBs. Take a look at mine if you can: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=280607

This is a cross-post with this: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=280607 I'm in a 10 team league, and I drafted really well last year, so I've got some tough decisions regarding who to keep. I really like your team. You have SERIOUS depth at RB. Your WRs are similarly deep, however they lack some of the power at the top which you got from your backs. As I drafted, I would've considered maybe upgrading at WR at the expense of RB.
  19. I was wondering how you guys would compare the WR/RB options with pick 2.4. I grab a solid back in round 1 (Westy, Rudi, SA...whoever). Then in Round 2, I was thinking the following: Grab Maroney, Mcgahee or Henry (assuming he's not hurt) if they're available, otherwise take a top WR. I would pass over a Jones-Drew type, and probably Ronnie Brown. What do you guys think? Also, I'm not a big fan of taking a QB early, but how strongly do you consider Peyton IF he's there at 2.4

    1st half of a mock...

1.9 RB: Rudi Johnson 2.4 WR: Chad Johnson 3.9 WR: TJ Housh 4.4 TE: Antonio Gates 5.9 RB: Deangelo Williams 6.4 RB: Marion Barber 7.9 WR: Vincent Jackson 8.4 QB: Tony Romo What do you think so far..... I hate not picking an RB in either the second or third rounds, but people were just gobbling them up. Should I have gone for a Chester Taylor type as RB4 in the 7th round or do you like the WR 3 there? Also how bad is it for me on the bengals off week, was that the worst idea ever?
  21. I don't really like it, but would like to hear your thoughts, and how I could've done better. 1.9 RB S. Alexander 2.4 RB W. Mcgahee 3.9 RB T. Jones 4.4 WR A. Boldin 5.9 RB J. Norwood 6.4 QB J. Kitna 7.9 WR D. Stallworth 8.4 WR B. Berrian 9.9 RB L. White 10.4 WR. D Bennet 11.9 TE R. McMichael 12.4 D Miami 13.9 WR A. Gonzalez 14.4 TE O. Daniels 15.9 PK

Could it be another rank this team?

I think your RB2 could've been a little stronger, as could RB3. You don't need 2 kickers. Wideouts look good. I'm personally a a believer in the not spending too much on QBs, but I think you have a little too much uncertainty and could've sepnt more than 4% of budget on 2 QBs. Overall, not bad.

    take a look

Superb depth at RB, but WR and QB are a little thin. Those WRs might work out, but you may have headaches on who to start every Staurday. You may want to try and downgrade at RB3 or RB4 to improve at QB or WR http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=280345

I think the team is strong. You have good depth at RB and WR. QBs are a little riskier, but it could work out. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=280345

Is it really that bad though in HTH? I mean, yes Bengals bye week, that's a loss, but do we see the makings of a playoff team?
