    I have a BAD feeling about ___

In Dallas, Jason Garrett as the OC is a complete unknown. Does anyone know if he patterns his calls after previous coaches (Norv Turner maybe?) There is no definite answer because he is a 1st time coordinator, let alone OC. I think everyone in Dallas is up in the air.

    Big trade possibility

There is no benefit to your team in any of these offers. The picks are too low unless someone does something unorthodox. Your team is solid. You could probably think about moving Harrison now while he still has great value.

    Dynasty trade

    Any thoughts on this trade?

    Trade Bush in a Dynasty?

Portis has that arthretic knee problem. There is doubt that he will be the same ever again. None of those backs will ever come close to Bush in terms of production. To move him would require a lot more.

What does the rest of your roster look like?

    Dynasty trade

I (TeamA) have been working with another owner (TeamB) to formulate a trade proposal to a third owner (TeamC). This 3rd owner has professed his man-love for Roy Williams (who I own). Here are the particulars (current team in parentheses): TeamA gets: Steven Jackson C TeamB gets: Chad Johnson C TeamC gets: Roy Williams(A), Laurence Maroney(A), Marshawn Lynch B Main players of each team: TeamA: Thomas Jones, DeAngelo Williams, Fitzgerald, Lee Evans TeamB: Larry Johnson, Joseph Addai, Caddilac Williams, Marques Colston TeamC: Travis Henry, Maurice Jones-Drew, Dunn, Torry Holt I have Brady as my QB, so trading Maroney splits up the NE duo and need #1 rb. TeamB has been desperately looking for a #1 wr. TeamC has been looking to split up his StL Ram combo and statisfies his Roy Williams man-love. Do you think this trade is fair for all involved? What tweaks,if any, would you make? Thanks for your input.

    Here's our dynasty rookie draft

Here is our most recent dynasty rookie/FA draft (picks 1.03, 1.05, 1.09, and 1.11 same team) 1.1 AD 1.2 CJ 1.3 Lynch 1.4 (missed the draft, pick forfeited) 1.5 Jamarcus Russell 1.6 Brandon Jackson 1.7 G.Olsen 1.8 K.Jones (drafted off of RFA list, new team gives 2008 3rd rd pick) 1.9 Michael Bush 1.10 Chris Henry 1.11 R. Meachem 1.12 G. Wolfe (called in his pick from local pub) I won't bother you all with the rest of the draft. Every year some strange picks in the first few rounds always drops players later than normal. About half the league are FF fanatics, the other very casual owners. My team did not have a 1st round pick this year. Overall, I ended up with Tony Hunt, Brian Leonard, DJ Hackett (FA), Brandon Jones (FA) and Jason Witten (RFA, gave up 4th rd pick 2008). Interesting note: The team owner with multiple 1st round picks offered 1.3,1.5,and 1.9 before the draft to another team for Torry Holt or Chad Jackson. This team turned it down after Calvin Johnson was taken with the 2nd pick. Obviously, a team is in desperate need of a "stud" WR. Last month, he inquired the availability of my Roy Williams. With Fitzgerald and Lee Evans on my team, had he made that offer to me, I don't know if I would pulled the trigger.

    Familiar with dynasty trades?

Too much to give up. Depending on the other roster, how about Roy for MJD straight up? Or Roy and winslow for MJD and pick if desperate?

2007 Dynasty Rookie Draft (Thoughts from Gut Check article)

From what I'm reading, Peterson is special enough to trade an established player for. Not alot of love for Lynch though. In Dynasty, its nice to have that balance between young guns and proven vets. How young is too young? I too heard Hart and Brohm are returning to play more college ball. Leaves running back crop thin with only Peterson, Lynch, and maybe Michael Bush. Anyone have thoughts on Gary Russell, ex-Minn Gopher?

2007 Dynasty Rookie Draft (Thoughts from Gut Check article)

There have been so much talk of Peterson since his freshman year. I think since he has been getting those freakish injuries, his stock is not as high as Reggie Bush was last year. Granted, Bush does have more football skills than Peterson. He does not have the same receiving skills as Bush. But Peterson's size and running skills have many comparing him to Eric Dickerson. Marshawn Lynch is being described as the more all-round complete back. He has all the right NFL running back measurables. I am one of those dynasty leaguers Wildman described in his blog...always looking for that undiscovered gold to build toward a monster team for years to come. I believe it is a sickness. The list of players that I have given up for 'up-n-comers' can build a solid team, while my current team wollows in mediocrity.
  11. After reading Wildman's Dyansty blog concerning short v. long term view, I am thinking if any of the incoming class is worth trading an established player. To read that Wildman was willing to give Moss, a pick, and possibly Westbrook (both proven commodities) for the rights to Bush (unproven in pros) was surprising to me. Next year's rookie class does not seem very deep to me. I count possibly 7 players worthy of draft consideration. While the others are pretty much crap shoots. Peterson Lynch Quinn Cal Johnson Irons Smaraja Rice Even the last three don't excite me. Does Peterson or Lynch fall under Wildman's exception and worth giving up an established player?
  12. One team holds the first two picks of next year's rookie draft. I called him to see if there is a chance of acquiring the second overall. He has shown interest in my wr Roy Williams. Should that be enough to acquire the pick? Looking at both rosters, is this a trade that makes sense? Your thoughts very much appreciated. Trade help

I like Rudi but two for one back is too much. Keep the four backs as one of them can be packaged to upgrade a position next year. Thanks for mine

    need a solid flex...

If I had to pick one of those three...Cadillac is the only one guaranteed touches. So there is a chance for something to happen. No definites in Bell and Harris.
