    Warrick Dunn's drop in production

I am debating between Dunn and Hackett for my flex. Dunn has been splitting carries, and Hackett has done well in D-Jax's abscence. Leaning towards Hackett as of now.

    Gumbel's gotta go...

That was bad along with the fumble play that he kept repeating how Oakland got away with one there several times when the dude recovered his own fumble! I'm just gonna have to hit the mute button and watch the game with some music going from now on. A couple of other dumbazz comments were the one to Collinsworth where in the middle of the game he asked him if he could name all of Santa's reindeer(WTF), Collinsworth blew it off, but Gumble had to proceed trying to name them Then last night as he was doing their typical plug for the game being bradcast in H.D. he tried to pull of the Jessica Simpson line and says "I totally don't know what that it, but I want it" with a southern accent. The man is not funny, and then out of the blue says this stupid crap, he should be fired immediately!

    Gumbel's gotta go...

That is at least the 2nd time tonight that after a third down play he has said the team will turn it over on down's. WTF??? And when a player gains 3 or 4 yards his comment is they get back to the 36 yard line instead of gaining up to the yardline. I bet this guy has never played a down of football in his life. I can handle bad announcers, but he is worse than Kornheiser, Theisman, or any others out there. Man I hope they can find someone new for next year
  4. I am starting Houston over Fason. The Jets are at home. You never know when the Lions will decide to play. Being from Michigan, and a Lions follower, it would be my luck to start Fason expecting big things and only to have this be the one week of the year they play tough and shut down the opposing team. I've started many of my F.F. players vs. Detroit expecting big things, and it usually bites me in the @$$. Go Cedric Houston!!!! I also have McGahee on my bench. Just can't seem to trust the dude this year. I don't start him his first game back vs. Jax. he gets two td's. The times I've played him expecting those numbers he leaves the game early or Buffalo is down by so much that they are throwing the entire second half.

    Lineup Issues - completely stuck!

I'd go with your three RB's also. What was Carr last week, 7 out of 12 or something ridiculus like that. RB's will touch the ball 15-25 times per game. Johnson will get the ball 3-8 times for the game. I'd start all three RB's as they all have pretty decent matchups. And yes Houston is the starter in N.Y. and should be a solid play vs. a pourous Bill rush defense.

Playoffs are here, help me not screw this up!

Seriously considering sittting L.J. if Fason gets the start. What do you guys think? It's L.J. Houston or Fason pick 2?
  7. gmeyers01

    Quick wr question...pick one

    Bryant in a landslide.
  8. I need to pick two RB's to start from the following: L.J. vs. Baltimore C. Houston vs. Buffalo C. Fason @ Detroit McGahee @ Jets McGahee is almost not an option since he is banged up and they don't start until 4:00. LJ has to be started right? So then it's between Fason @ Detroit or C. Houston vs. Buffalo. Which two should I start? My other question is at defense. Start New England @ Miami or Tennessee @ Houston. I have started New England most of the year, but think the Titans could be a good play vs. a turnover and sack prone Texans offense. Gimme the best two RB's and the defense I should start and I will help anyone else with lineup probems!

    Must-win situation...need some lineup advice

Would like some more opinions! Still debating between McGahee, Morris, and Houston. I think I have to start D-Jax, as NE WR's are too unpredictable and any one WR between Gabriel, Caldwell, Jackson, T. Brown, or even TE's Watson and Graham mean too many options for Brady. I have ruled out Caldwell as every time I think I'm starting a "hot" NE WR I get burned. Now McGahee, Morris, or Houston???

    Barlow OUT!

I'm seriously thinking about benching McGahee for Houston this week. What do you think?

Dare to bench Tiki for Addai?

Wow, that's a tough call. Who is your other RB that you are starting? Tiki does play well vs Dallas, but the Giants look a mess. Will they take a stand or fold, that is the big question for this Sunday. Addai is a lock for 100 total yds, and a good chance at a td. Barber could get you 150 and a TD(although not likely), or he could get about 80 yds and no td. I'd start Addai.

    Better Dynasty RB

I'd take Addai and run. He is pulling away from Rhodes, and as long as your championship game isn't week 17 you should be in good shape with him.

    Quick question....

I'd say Miami and A. Smith. Just don't trust 1st year QB's enough to start Campbell, and not a big fan of Oakland or Brooks! Please see mine:http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=257409 Damn, how do you leave a link for others to respond to?

    P Manning or Drew brees

As a Manning owner, I hate to say it, but start Brees. Please see mine:http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=257409

WSIS Defense Carolina versus San Diego

I'd go woth S.D. though Castillo is out for tomorrow's game. They should still get plenty of sacks with a possible turnover or two. Owning McGahee I've watched plenty of Buffalo games. Losman can't handle the blitz, and many of Buffalo's scoring opportunities come from big plays by Evans, or turnovers and punt/kick returns. If S.D. can keep the big plays to a minimum Buffalo will have a hard time driving down the field for any length of time. The only factor that would worry me with S.D. is that they are in Buffalo and will they "show-up" for the game. They were flat last week vs. Oakland, so they need to bring more energy this week or they could get beat by Buffalo if they take them too lightly. Man I overthink stuff, which is why I have soo many lineup questions each week. Go with S.D. and hope they come out fired up. Personally having to start McGahee I'm hoping for an upset by Buffalo, but think it's highly unlikely.
