When is Melvin Gordon going to be suspended?
BobSanders_33 replied to kilroy69's topic in FFToday Board
You would have to think if the broncos are out of the mix that they would prefer Gordon to get the suspension out of the way this year. I'd expect Gordon to plead guilty and move forward. -
I'd say there are few players on a bench with higher upside than Gio this week. Mixon still not cleared to practice today per rotoworld.
-
Hoping that they give Jones another week off. This should be an easy W against a depleted team. Little reason to play him at less than 100% and risk complications.
-
This is a tough one. Missing for a minimum of 3 weeks. Then when he comes back I don't know if you can trust him week 1 back. Then you have the scenario where another Mia back looks decent enough to keep some work when Gaskin returns. Gaskins was a pure volume play and the offense probably got worse with Tua. Not ideal.

Hasty is no Mostert. 49ers are playing a second team offense. Down starting QB, LT, all pro TE, top 3 Wrs. I do not see how they can move the ball because you can 100% sell out to stop the run. The WRs and TE will have little practice time and no time to really game plan before the game with the facilities being shut down. The 49ers are also bad in the secondary right now. If GB gets up early and can come after Mullens it will be a bloodbath. The GB D should also be mad after they got worked last week. A great formula for the GB-D to get right this week.

I ran to the wire for the gb d. It should be an offensive mess tomorrow
-
Jayden Mickins got 8 targets. AB back in prime time. If Godwin is out I'd say 8 targets, 6 grabs, 80 yards and a TD.
-
Starting rbs are valuable. (See Hasty, Bernard, Williams, Dallas and Wilson Jr.) Coaches are optimistic about rbs coming back from "minor" injuries. (See Bernard, Ingram, Hyde, Mixon, Jones.) If you have a spot at the end of your bench it is an upside add.
-
I think this is the truth. The TBD is good. They won't need to get into shootouts. They wont have to drop back and pass 40+ times per game. Now targets each week will be split up between Evans, Godwin, Brown, Gronk.
-
Former Robinson owner. The late td catch bailed him out last week. He is a workhorse but I saw his playoff schedule being brutal.
-
AB is a great bottom of the bench penny stock play. I dropped Damien Harris for him in a deep bench full ppr. If he signs with Seattle, TB or GB there will be value. Either he is a flex/bye week replacement or someone will take him as an appealing trade add-on.

The use of Jones has been really weird this game. A lot of plays with Williams at Rb and Jones going in motion across the formation.

2016 and 2017. Its a totally different situation now but that is 2 of the last 4 years. I think the best sign was that Harris got 17 carries right out of the gates. Of course they had a run heavy game plan. It will be tough to really trust him until he moves Rex out of the way. Rex is playing well so that may not be easy. It was concerning that the split was Harris on 1st and 2nd, White on passing and then Rex being sprinkled in AND the back inside the 10. That really has to change. Also, have to hope that as the get closer to the playoffs they have the wins set so that they can be more protective of Cam around the goal line. So a lot has to happen to make Harris a trustable RB2. With all of the injuries he is worth the speculative add. Probably not a league winner.

UPDATE: Cam Newton COVID-19 - KC/NE Scheduled for Monday night
BobSanders_33 replied to kutulu's topic in FFToday Board
This is an interesting wrinkle. If you keep your chiefs and patriots in the line up expecting a Tuesday game and then more cases pop Monday or Tuesday you could take 0's. -
Gase so badly wanted to draw up that 2 pt conversion to go to his boy Ballage.

Let’s discuss Swift. Who’s holding? Who’s folding?
BobSanders_33 replied to Philo312's topic in FFToday Board
Agree that you have to be able to admit your draft mistakes. It would depend how deep your bench is. I think most leagues have a fill in or upside guy on waivers to consider. If you look past the box scores and watch video this year you can see he is a shell of himself. I think there are paths for Swift but there are also paths for others guys like Brian Hill or you use that bench spot for week ahead D or QB streamer stashes that you know will help your lineup to win a week. -
I picked Bell up off of waivers. I might have over spent with a 30% bid but we will see. The best case would be that NYJ loses on Thursday to a UDFA QB, the NYJ offense is exposed on a dreadful nationally televised game and the ownership fires Gase.

Julio and likely D Adams out. Praying for my Andy Isabella dart throw to work.

I'd say Henderson. At minimum he is an unknown in a good offense. He showed that he has some juice in his most recent game. It was just last year that people were drafting him in rd 5 for upside. A post hype sleeper. Freeman didn't look good last year in a better offense that he knew. Now he has to learn a new offense and has been out of the game and hasn't been training with a team for a long time. It wouldn't be surprising if there is some time needed to condition and pickup the offense. Then you have the schedule. Look at NYG's schedule and tell me what spots you would put Freeman in even if here were the starter: SF @LAR @DAL WSH @PHI TB @WSH PHI BYE @CIN @SEA ARI CLE @BAL Maybe @CIN? Those are some tough run D's in front of them.

Coleman will be back this week. He will split some work with Snell and be called off the field for Samuels on 3rd down. The OL is depleted and you'll get 15 for 40 and 2 receptions for 15.... if he makes it through the game.
-
I think we are unfortunately going to see an unappealing RBBC in Pit. Snell and Connor will both get 2 down work. It looks like Samuels will get some 3rd down work. The OL lost 2 important starters for the year. This is just a horrible situation. The other thing that sucks about Connor is that he is like a bigger Breida. The dude gets hurt in game way too often. I'm also concerned with Big Ben due to the OL injuries. He holds the ball so long and is a statue in the pocket. Sure he shakes off some sacks but he is going to take some hits. With his age and injuries I don't know if he makes it the entire season. I'd divest from all Pittsburg players at this point.

Dreaded High Ankle Sprain For Michael Thomas
BobSanders_33 replied to stonewall's topic in FFToday Board
If he fell to 2.03 then you drafted with idiots and should be fine. -
There was talk from the experts that Arizona would have an even distribution of targets across players. It looks like Nook is the alpha and getting tons of targets schemed to him. Austin Eckler doesn't totally fit with Tyrod. One target on the entire day. Mobile QBs don't target RBs historically. Phillip Rivers does like to target RBs. In PPR Hines might be a Cohen/Eckler like player. Jax could start out 3-1. That is not what the ownership was hoping would happen. Trevor Lawrence in NYC. Matt Ryan might be the QB own. Jackson and Mahomes have good Ds to prevent shootouts. Matt Ryan is going to have to sling it every game.

I think you can find the blurb by searching Thompson on rotoworld.
