    NFL cuts day

Well I guess we can stop the “Zappe will overtake Mac Jones” talk

How good will the Packers be?

Rodgers was not very good last year and they finished 8-9. I don’t know too much as far as who they lost and brought in this off-season, but my hunch is between 7 and 9 wins. Jordan love seems like he’ll be at least decent and he’ll have better weapons than Rodgers did last year due to Watson and Doubs having a year under their belts, if nothing else.

I just served on a jury for the first time.

If I found out a member of the geek club was on the jury, I’d flee the country

    Ride or Die with Tua?

Sure, it’s a good strategy. He was great last year when he played. You get 17 games out of him or close to it, you’ve probably got a top 5 QB. It’s not that likely to happen, but as a gamble it’s a pretty good one.

    Trump INDICTED

    When is it ever subtle?

    Trump INDICTED

Wouldn’t it be at some point in the election cycle, regardless? They really can’t let that dictate the calendar or else it’ll be “right before/after the convention!” or “right before/after the debates!” or “right before/after Iowa!” etc etc etc Now I do wish they had done this a year ago.

Are The Bills A Team That Can't Get Over The Hump ?

They need their offense to be more than Josh Allen and Stefan Diggs. Not that those two aren’t great, but they lack that third and fourth weapon.
  10. Does not appear credible: https://www.newsnationnow.com/entertainment-news/the-tuohys-could-have-adopted-michael-oher-they-didnt/amp/
  11. That’s the issue to me. As I understand they never did adopt him, and they’ve had inconsistent stories about why. They’ve said it’s because he was 18 but you could adopt an adult in their state so that doesn’t hold water (and they had lawyers who would know that). They’ve also claimed it was because of the ole miss booster thing but a conservatorship is probably worse than an adoption in that case. It doesn’t add up. My suspicion is they just didn’t want to make him legally part of the family such that he would assumedly inherit. Now they could’ve had wills and written him out, but that could also be challenged with much better basis if he was legally their son.

Explain to me how that’s not a non-sequitur

    Biden’s accomplishments (and failures)

I don’t. I’m not in support of that defund the policy lunacy. You guys are always fighting boogeymen here: there are certainly crazies on the left, but I have seen very few of them on this a here bored

    Biden’s accomplishments (and failures)

Actually they generally suck much worse in red states. But that ain’t cool either

    Biden’s accomplishments (and failures)

So what you just said is you want to drain resources from the public school system. Just a little bit, and only for a while, but you do. And that’s perfectly fine. I don’t like it but you’re entitled to your opinion. Well actually it might be illegal in many states due to their state constitutional obligation to provide an adequate public school education, but you’re welcome to try that legal battle. Anyway, all’s I’m saying is it’s ironic that you then complain about the state of public schools, when you just want to undermine them even further.

    Biden’s accomplishments (and failures)

Interesting take. Not many people wanted to stay in Afghanistan forever. The question was who was going to hold the bag on getting out, and Joe Biden stepped up to the plate, unlike trump who had four years to do it, and yea, also unlike Obama, who had eight.

    Biden’s accomplishments (and failures)

No of course not, you’re free to do whatever you want of course. Just don’t like the well to do stealing resources from public schools to subsidize their private school tuition. If that’s not your position, my apologies

    ***The Official GOP Debate*** thread

You keep moving the goalposts. How about we just agree neither Trump nor Obama nor Joe Biden started any foreign wars?
  19. IGotWorms

    Biden’s accomplishments (and failures)

So you support them if you agree with what they’re teaching, I take it? And that’s based on politics, right?
  20. IGotWorms

    Biden’s accomplishments (and failures)

It means you want to undermine public schools, or don’t care if they are undermined. Personally I think that’s reprehensible but you’re free to have that view, of course. My only point was why, then, is HT (if he shares your view) complaining about lack of support for public schools?

    Biden’s accomplishments (and failures)

Nobody’s actively trying to kill them though
  22. IGotWorms

    Biden’s accomplishments (and failures)

Do you even support public schools? Seems to me like you’re one of those “school choice” people or even further
