They have never been able to answer my question “Why is global warming bad?” either.

I wore short sleeved Polos the last three days. Just thank me for all the tires and styrofoam I've burned over the years.

    You're welcome America.

If your job is to study climate change, and you find that humans have zero, or a marginal, impact on the climate, what happens to your career?

Exactly where I was going with it. Well put.

If it never rains, what happens to the person selling umbrellas?

Yeah...cuz scientists are so rich they live like the 1 percenters...

Good lord...they get paid a professors salary...

They are in it for the money!!  whats the next draft class of blue chip scientists???

What do scientists constantly struggle with? Funding. Say it again; Funding.

Invent the crisis to get the................Funding.

Yeah..um. they can tell volcanic eruptions...and atmospheric debris. Ecologists who understand biomass and energy flows in ecosystems and many such other fields can give a pretty good appromation of life at different time periods in earths history.

    But its ok...you know better.

Do I know better than the scientists? No but then again my living isn't dependent upon this 'crisis' whereas theirs is.

All climate scientists are hippies in a sense.  I'll never believe any of them because there's no way that they're not biased and fudge the data to support their views.

Well, I don't rely on banks to tell me how much to borrow. It's in their best interest for me to borrow more than I need. Same for car dealerships. Never take the word of someone trying to sell you something.

Pretty sure the first thing most believe is we should use actual facts instead of things that aren't true, like "China and India polluting more than the rest of the world combined?"

To borrow one of your liberal talking points  "It hasn't been disproven yet"

Um...ice cores..stromatolites.etc.  there are lots of ways to measure levels thousands of years ago.

They can plot change levels over thousands of years...and yes..there are changes...however the changes occuring now are at an unprecidented rate of acceleration.

True science is the search for infomation...dont mix it up with charlatans and snake oil salesman.

Dude, NFW can you look at ice cores and tell us with any degree of certainty that current weather is abnormal compared to X.

For instance, that ice core tell you how many solar flares occurred that year? Does that ice core tell you what volcano erupted that year and how much debris was put into atmosphere? Does it take into account the amount of animal life that was on the planet? Etc, etc, etc............

    No degree of certainty...................PERIOD.

If you have ever boiled water...your familiar with the amount of heat water can absorb.  It is the oceans that moderate the worlds temperature.  Imagine the heat absorbed by trllions of gallons of water just to increase it 1 degree.

Climate change deniers are just dumb people.

Any rational 10yr old with rudimentary science knowledge can see something is going on.

Watch "chasing coral or chasing glaciers" on netflix.

I dont have the time or the crayons to explain it.

    How old is the Earth?

How long have we been keeping records?

Has anyone on the Climate Change/Global Warming side ever manipulated the data to support their views?

I care about results and I care about how it sets things up for the future.  How we interact with each other and how we interact with our global partners.  That is not emotion.  That is pragmatism.

A pragmatic would most likely just care about the results.

Our global partners are propped up by America. We can and should dictate the manner in which we prop the world up.

The presidency in a lot of ways is a figurehead position. An executive who consistently takes the low road and has nothing but disdain for half or more of his constituents makes the country worse. Trump would be a mortal lock for re-election if he acted like an adult. But he’s always been a piece of chit.

This from a liberal who as we've seen the last several years lash out verbally and in some cases physically with those who disagree with you guys politically. A prime example is actor Vince Vaughn who sat briefly with Trump during last night's football game. Liberals are outraged that he would do such a thing and he's apparently hurt his movie career for just being seen talking to Trump.

You liberals are the worst this country has to offer yet Trump still fights for you as you are American or at least live here.
