Top 5 seasons of all time

Deion and his 1 year in SF, Eric Davis, Merton Hanks, and Tim McDonald in the secondary. If I recall correctly, Eric Davis picked off Aikman's first 2 passes in the playoffs and took them to the house. That secondary was awesome and as a lowly Lions fan, the 94 49ers are probably my favorite team of all time that didn't have Barry Sanders.

    The Weekly FU Thread...

FU to my whole league scoring champion team and their "easy" matchups this week: Schaub AP Calvin Fitz Cards D How about you fockkers get more than 30-something yards and Schaub, yeah, 300+ yds but only 1 TD vs the worst team in the league? I had my 2nd lowest point total in our playoff week. Outstanding. Again, a heart holiday FU as I see no money to recover my Christmas this year.

    It's a TD for the Saints D/ST

Excellent argument and I see that your point is valid. Except... wait...I see a whole page 3 with many people saying the same thing I did. Good God, feel free to at least say something intelligent rather than prove to me that you have the brightness and wit of a Kindergarten kid. Am I supposed to respond with "I know you are but what am I?" or would that be too "1st grade level" for you? Standard FF scoring gives points to Defensive and Special Teams units, meaning they need to be on the field.

    It's a TD for the Saints D/ST

I've seen arguments that say "as soon as Washington got the ball, Meacham became a defensive player". So by that definition any time a DB picks off a pass he becomes an offensive player. Therefore he can never score a Defensive touchdown then, could he? So everyone giving out points for these so-called Defensive TDs are giving out free points. That's just asinine. Meacham plays on the Saints offense and everyone knows it. Anyone trying to jive defensive points from this is playing little ticky-tac games. The Saints D was not on the field at the time and therefore will not get credited with anything. We installed pretty much the same rules as the Keenan McCardell Rule above and I love that name.

    Adam Vinatieri's Return

Our WW deadline was Week 11 so from that point on I always carry 2 Kickers in case of injury. In a rare chance to have 2 kickers from the same high scoring team I have both Stover and Vinatieri. I did this because if/when Vinatieri comes back and then gets hurt again, I know who his replacement will be. I'll only be screwed if Stover gets hurt but at that point it's just bad luck but at that point I was operating under the assumption he will return this year. That was the latest word out of the Colts organization at that time. My question about Vinatieri's return is simply so I don't end up playing Stover that week because I somehow missed news that Vinatieri was back. I hope that explains that I do know how to play FF. I have been doing so successfully since 91. All I was asking for was news, not commentary. I would like to know why you think he's not coming back though. It's exactly those answers that I was asking about, seeing as I haven't heard anything for weeks.

    Adam Vinatieri's Return

R-World's last update was pre-Thanksgiving and I didn't see anything on the Colts official site. (Though I didn't dig too deeply.)

    **Official FU Brett Favre**

Vikings, up 14, come out in the 2nd half with 5 straight passes.

    **Official FU Brett Favre**

It's like Peterson is the forgotten Viking. 1st and goal from the 1/2 yard line and they focking pass? Really? And then get sacked, all but guaranteeing a TD throw. AP has what, 2-100 yd games this year. I guess I should be ecstatic to see the second coming of the Messiah. All the Farve BS gives me an actual stomach-ache.

Stafford Throw's TD #5 Of The Day...

Ahh edjr. 50,000+ posts. 0 of intelligent content. I'm a Lions fan because I'm from Michigan and have always been a Lions fan. I have a 150 IQ so I think it's more something called team loyalty than it is anything about intelligence level. But hey, you keep making your 1st grade observations and God bless ya for them. I'll take the win because of what others have said after you. Stafford showed heart and team leadership. That was his game-winning drive and he was going to finish it. Dogging on Lions fans isn't hard work. We know they suck. What we look for are positives. This game had some offensive ones. Defense...not so much. The Lions will trade that high draft pick to one of the teams looking for a QB (Tebow, Bradford, McCoy, LeFevour, Pike. This is a very good QB year.) So it really doesn't matter if they have the 1st pick or not.

Stafford Throw's TD #5 Of The Day...

Lucky but as a Lions fan I'll take the win. Good throw by Stafford on the game-winner. His arm looked impressive today. I wish they could play like that on other days (offensively) I have to wonder: why wasn't Calvin Johnson in there on that play? That's stupid. Bryant Johnson was out there instead. At least put your best personal in there.

    RB help

I think you've picked the right two. They're the better RBs by a good measure right now. I can see an argument of Smith over Brown based on the NE matchup but I still think that Brown is just in a better position. Supposedly Morris will see a little more work to keep Smith from being overused and injured.
  12. The Grand Master

    Megatron or Celek

If Johnson stays healthy all game then Stafford will be targeting him. McNabb spreads the ball around too much. I'd go with CJ (and am playing him myself this week). You know that he'll get the looks, not to mention to more potential.
  13. The Grand Master

    Charles or Bowe

I picked up Charles this week with AP on the bye. I pretty much have to run one of these 2 as my Flex. No PPR but we do have 1 pt per 20 total yards. Who's the better play this week? Opinions? My brain says Bowe but my gut says Charles.

    *****Official***** Giants vs Saints

It would piss me off as the starting RB. I do the work and some other yahoo gets to do the scoring. Thanks for the trust. Man I hate RBBC and yes I started Thomas today.

    Randy Moss vs Micheal Turner

Just like the topic says. I'm looking for opinions. Which player do you see having the better stats in a non-PPR league. Turner's schedule is brutal with some bright spots here and there. His Wk15 and Wk16 games are NYJ and Buffalo respectively. Moss's schedule looks more friendly and sees Buffalo and Jacksonville in those playoff weeks. Turner's pros: He's guaranteed to get the ball near 20 times every game and always gets the goal-line carries. Even against good Ds he's likely to put up a TD. Turner's Cons: He's continued his habit of not doing well against good defenses and hasn't had that breakout game yet this year. Moss's pros: These seem obvious. Moss's cons: Waiting on Brady to get back to form. As a WR his targets can vary by week, though he'll always see a good amount of looks. So what's your opinion on these two elite FF players
