who's saying he did it by himself? the defense is playing money right now. the running game is resurgent. Romo is also playing very good. the O-line is good, but GREAT? is that what you're saying? when has this group ever been thought of as great? so lemme guess, you're saying the above now, but if the Cowboys lose you'll be one to say Romo choked, right? when the Cowboys are doing good you gotta make sure Romo doesnt get too much credit, but if they lose it's all on Romo. and your assessment about Romo above is lacking. what you fail to mention is, Romo is one the best in the league at avoiding the sack. in fact, he makes a lot of big plays while avoiding sacks and extending the play. he's been much better at doing this and not throwing bad picks. which was one of his problems in past seasons. look, im not saying Romo all that. but if you're gonna break down the Cowboys you gotta tell the whole story.

how are the Cowboys acting like they won the Superbowl? you think they dont understand whats at stake? you think Romo isnt hungry for this game? you think Wade Philips feels secure in his job without a playoff win?

both Rodgers and Romo need to win in the playoffs. everything else is just chatter.

i couldnt agree more. the Cowboys are playing hot right now. thats what you want going into the playoffs. BUT, Romo and the Cowboys have everything to prove from here on out. im not for a second writing off the eagles. i dont see as many dropped passes or bobbled snaps by philly. and this team is always dangerous. the thing i keep coming back too is: the Cowboys ran the ball down the eagles throats, and their defense kept philly off balance. can philly overcome this Saturday night? maybe, but i'm seeing Dallas getting the playoff monkey off their backs. ball control, and pressure on mcnabb.

i gotta give you props for what you said. and for the record, most of us Cowboys fans know the score. this all means nothing if they lose Saturday night. you are partially right. i think it goes much deeper than that. the Cowboys have been a hated franchise way before Romo came along. the Cowboys are a very polarizing franchise. you either love em or hate em. i'll try to sum up: they have A LOT of band wagon fans, unfortunately. they are on primetime a lot because they are popular. fans of other teams dont like teams in the spotlight that arent their team. see the NE Pats of recent history they have had a lot of success. they've had polarizing, outspoken, troublemaking players like Irvin that make it easy to not like them. Jerry Jones is a spotlight ###### so how come no ones talkin about how Rodgers is being prematurely annointed? he's being shoved down our throats as the next coming. very similar to when Romo took over the helm. i guess we'll see what happens.

heres the deal, the eagles got their arses handed to them with a chance to win the East and a 1st round bye. and it feels dam good to shut them out to win the NFC East! Romo is shutting his critics up one game at a time. and the defense is dominating! the best part was seeing mcpuke all dejected in the 4th quarter. at least he has pubes on his chin. he's got that goin for him. the thing is, this means nothing in the big picture. now the eagles have nothing to lose. Romo still needs a playoff win, but this oughta shut some of the haters up for a few days anyway! F the eagles!!!!

good points. i dont like the pats, but if you think they're the only ones doing what they got caught for, you're smokin crack. i think the pressure to be the best leads to "questionable" tactics.

the Cowboys actually have an excellent pass rush. last year they led the NFL in sacks. this year it took a while to get going, but now they're really pressuring opposing QBs. Now, this game could go either way, very easily, but if the Cowboys do what they are capable of pass rush-wise, they should come out with the NFC crown. especially with Jackson out at center.
