    Holmgren = idiot

    Holmgren and Hasselbeck lost the game. What the frack was Hasselbeck thinking when he threw that ball up to jupiter for it to come back down for an interception. It was like a punt. Holmgren could have at least given his team a chance to get the ball one more time. IDIOT!!! There season is over.

    Vinny 2 Steve Smith

    I don't like the idea of starting smith. your comment sounds like you are pulling it out of your a$$

    Davenpoop is at it again!

    Frack, I just picked him up from waivers this past week. Now I want my $2 back that I paid to get him.

    Steven Jackson

    agreed i'd be surprised if he comes back as a full time starter if he even comes back this year. There is no way he will touch the ball 15 or more times a game with a torn groin.

    My mini-rant

    I'm a Season ticket holder 10 rows back on the visitor side at Heinz Field. Every Visiting fan gets treated with respect in the sections around me. NEVER has anyone thrown anything at another fan. You really are not getting the point here and therefore I'm done with this thread.

    My mini-rant

    In response to the above quotes I have this to say. The "felon" cracks were made to show you how stupid you sound with your generalizations. I was merely making a generalization about your Bengals to make a point that you can't make a generalization about a fanbase. As for Joey Porter, the loud mouth overrated linebacker, I'd agree that he is a piece of crap. Exactly the reason the Rooney's didn't offer him a contract. They don't want classless players on their team. Porter was highly overrated and not the face of the franchise like the media outlets portrayed him to be. Did you know Marvin Lewis is from Pittsburgh? Yeah, that is right. Your beloved coach grew up in Pittsburgh and is a Steelers fan himself, however for professional reasons he can not display that. I guess he is just as much of an azzhole as the rest of us Steeler fans, according to your generalization that you made. And yes your team had a horrible run of bad luck with personnel management and the fans had to pay the price while the owner made $ off of a bad team. Similar to the Pirates as you mentioned. By the way, the Pirates averaged 23,269 in attendance every game, so I know exactly what you are talking about when it comes to consecutive losing seasons but still showing up to watch your home team. Don't throw that in my face. And to finish I'd like to say that I am one of those Steeler fans that you have never met and I take offense to your generalizations. I have several friends that live in Cincy and Cleveland and despite our "hatred" for each other's teams, we still have a great time talking about football, baseball and hockey. There are pieces of crap fans in every city and if we generalized a whole fanbase on behalf of those idiots, then these forums would be filled with trash-talk and other unnecessary banter.

    My mini-rant

    It amazes me how this rant was a complete generalization of an entire fan base. Take your losses and go home. I remember watching the Steeler years with Mark Malone as QB and the reverse was considered a trick play. Those days were full of losses and very few wins, but yet every sunday the fans were filling Three Rivers Stadium. Tradition. Yes, it must be tradition. The only thing of tradition in Cincy are warrants for arrest. Those towels you see waving in every stadium originated in Pittsburgh by the great announcer Myron Cope, so every time you go to a game in your stadium and they hand out white, orange or any other colored towel, then you must remember that you are just following a great tradition from Pittsburgh.

    Just shoot me now...

    i'm surprised to hear that Turner is available on someones waiver list. How many teams do you have in your league? That could have been LT's ankle, but since LT doesn't play in preseason games the "burner" had to take one for the team.

    Pittsburgh League needs a few teams

    Thanks for the interest, but the league has been filled.
  11. I am in search of a few teams to complete a league. The entry fee is $150 and will have several payouts. The grand payout is $1000. We will be using an online draft and have two divisions of 5 teams. Let me know if you are interested and I can send the ByLaws and scorings summary to you. thanks, Braumeister
