  2. Each Season you get to keep 4 offensive players and 1 defensive player (I am looking to increase the number of defensive keepers to 2 though starting from this season or next season). It is just a free league for fun with no cash or prizes rewarded. It will be an offline draft and we will do the draft on the message board in the league. If you haven't done that kind of draft before, don't worry about it because it will be very easy to follow. Basically each team will be given about 12 hours to make its pick on the message board. You must stay active all season long or you will be replaced by someone else next season. It will be the sixth year for my league this season, and I will continue to run it as long as I have time. If you are interested, please email me at hw_calvin@yahoo.com for more information. Have a great weekend! Thanks Calvin
  3. I am still possibly looking for 1 more manager in my league since one manager has failed to post his keepers on time. Please email me at hw_calvin@yahoo.com if you are interested, thanks.
  4. It will be an offline draft that will be done on the message board.
  5. I still need 2 more managers, and I will provide some more information about the league. Each season, you can keep 5 players (4 offensive players at most and at least 1 defensive players). If you are interested, please email me at hw_calvin@yahoo.com, and try to introduce yourself a little bit or talk about your past fantasy sports experience, thanks. Max Teams: 14 Scoring Type: Head-to-Head Start Scoring on: Week 1 Can't Cut List Provider: Yahoo! 6. Competitive managers only, you would be kick out of the league if you fail to stay active for the whole season. If you are looking for an ongoing league that will at least last for the next several years, it is a perfect league for you. The league will be set up on Yahoo. Free to join while no prize will be awarded, just to play for fun. If you are interested, please email me at hw_calvin@yahoo.com, and I will email more information of my league to you. Thanks.
  7. It is the same league that I posted awhile ago, the league is currently conducting a message board draft and there are only 2 rounds left until we are done. However, one manager in my league has missed his last 4 picks. I am concerned that he is not active and responsible enough to the league, so I decide to replace him with a new manager. Not sure if any of you have done any message board draft before, but it is very easy to follow and I will let you know how we do it after you join my league. Each season you will get to keep 5 players (4 offensive players at most and 1 defensive players at least). The following will be the settings of my league. Max Teams: 14 Scoring Type: Head-to-Head Start Scoring on: Week 1 Can't Cut List Provider: Yahoo! Sports Max Moves: No maximum Max Acquisitions per Week: No maximum Max Trades: No maximum Trade Reject Time: 2 Trade End Date: November 20, 2009 Trade Review: Commissioner Waiver Time: 2 days Waiver Type: Continual rolling list Weekly Waivers None Post Draft Players: Free Agents Playoffs: Week 14, 15 and 16 (6 teams) Divisions: No Roster Positions: QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R, K, D, LB, DE, S, CB, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN Fractional Points: Yes Negative Points: Yes Offense Passing Yards 30 yards per point Passing Touchdowns 6 Interceptions -2 Rushing Yards 10 yards per point Rushing Touchdowns 6 Reception Yards 10 yards per point Reception Touchdowns 6 Return Touchdowns 6 2-Point Conversions 2 Fumbles Lost -2 Offensive Fumble Return TD 6 Kickers Field Goals 0-19 Yards 3 Field Goals 20-29 Yards 3 Field Goals 30-39 Yards 3 Field Goals 40-49 Yards 4 Field Goals 50+ Yards 5 Point After Attempt Made 1 Defensive Players Tackle Solo 0.5 Tackle Assist 0.25 Sack 2 Interception 3 Fumble Force 1 Fumble Recovery 1 Defensive Touchdown 6 Safety 4 Pass Defended 1.25 Block Kick 4 QB Matt Cassel WR Roy Williams WR T.J. The team is not that good on paper, but I can promised that this league will be an ongoing one within the next several years. There are also a lot of active managers who love to trade. If you are looking for a good keeper league to join while love a challenge to turn a bad team around, it is a perfect opportunity for you. Please email me at hw_calvin@yahoo.com if you are interested. Thank You Cal
  8. I have 7 openings in my keeper league. This is year #3 for my league and I intend to keep it running for a long time. If you are looking for a fun, competitive, and a league that will be going on for a long time, you should consider to join my league. It is just a free league for fun and no prizes will be rewarded. For the draft, we will have a message board draft. If you haven't done any message board draft before, don't worry about it, I will tell you all of the directions that you will need and believe me, those directions are very easy to follow. For the message board, basically you just have to post your pick on the message board when your pick is up. We will have a snake draft also. For example, if you get to pick #1 in round #1, you would get the last pick in round #2, then #1 pick in round #3 and last pick in round #4, etc. Anyway, I will tell you more after you joined. As for the keepers, every season each team gets to keep 4 offensive players and 1 defensive player(DB/DL). You can also choose to keep multiple defensive players if you want to (e.g. keeping 3 offensive players and 2 defensive players) You can check out the league settings below: Max Teams: 14 Scoring Type: Head-to-Head Start Scoring on: Week 1 Can't Cut List Provider: Yahoo! Sports Max Moves: No maximum Max Acquisitions per Week: No maximum Max Trades: No maximum Trade Reject Time: 2 Trade End Date: November 20, 2009 Trade Review: Commissioner Waiver Time: 2 days Waiver Type: Continual rolling list Weekly Waivers None Post Draft Players: Free Agents Playoffs: Week 14, 15 and 16 (6 teams) Divisions: No Roster Positions: QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R, K, DB, DB, DL, DL, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN Fractional Points: Yes Negative Points: Yes Offense: Passing Yards 30 yards per point Passing Touchdowns 6 Interceptions -2 Rushing Yards 10 yards per point Rushing Touchdowns 6 Reception Yards 10 yards per point Reception Touchdowns 6 Return Touchdowns 6 2-Point Conversions 2 Fumbles Lost -2 Offensive Fumble Return TD 6 Kickers Field Goals 0-19 Yards 3 Field Goals 20-29 Yards 3 Field Goals 30-39 Yards 3 Field Goals 40-49 Yards 4 Field Goals 50+ Yards 5 Point After Attempt Made 1 Defensive Players Tackle Solo 0.5 Tackle Assist 0.25 Sack 2 Interception 3 Fumble Force 1 Fumble Recovery 1 Defensive Touchdown 6 Safety 4 Pass Defended 1.25 Block Kick 4 If you are interested to join, please email me at hw_calvin@yahoo.com. After I receive your email, I will email you the available teams right away and you can respond by telling me which team you would like to manage. Thank you Calvin
  9. It is a 14 teams keeper league that currently looking for 7 new managers to replace the managers who will not return for this season. I posted the available teams and the league settings below and please feel free to check it out and see if you are interested to join. This is season #2 for this league and I am determined to run the league for the next serveral years and as long as possible. If you enjoy keeper leagues and looking for competitive one, I thnnk this league is for you. Each team will get to keep 5 total players every year, but 4 offensive players at most (WR/QB/TE/RB/K). The last keeper spot is only for the defensive player (DL/DB). You can keep more than one defensive players if you want to, although I doubt anyone would. We will have a message board draft after everyone posted their 5 keeprs. If you haven't done a message board draft before, don't worry about it since it will be easy to follow. Basically everyone will be given a certain amount of time to post their picks on the message board is how will our draft work. In a way I think message board draft is better than a live draft because it gives you more time to think of which player is the best for your team, and also it wouldn't affect your life schedule at all. You just check your e-mails a few times a day and you wouldn't miss your pick. If you are interested, please e-mail me and talk a little about why you are interested or your fantasy football/sports' history. I really wanted to have some sort of conversation with you first before I allow you to join because I am looking for serious managers only.
