Etienne's '24 metrics were beyond putrid. Ypc, ybc, yac, broken tackle rate, yds-over-expected/att, goal-line success, etc... he was bottom in the league in nearly every category. I thought for sure Tank would steal the job. And yet, Etienne completely reversed the metrics and had a great yr. Don't know how much of that was Etienne or Coen's system... but I'm inclined to give Coen a lot of credit. Which makes me very bullish for Tuten.

Agree with most of what ya said - not sure I'd throw dirt on Stafford just yet, but I digress... Think ya got this one backwards. Waddle won't stretch the field, Sutton is the deep threat. And he'll have a few big games... and be wildly inconsistent like always. ............................. As for the OP's question.... I like Evans. Think he's sitting on 10-15 Tds. Probably 1,000 yds like usual or at least close. He's taking over for the departed Jennings, who despite missing two games, had the 5th most red-zone targets in the league and finished with 9 Tds. I'd consider Evans a much more talented end-zone receiver. Then there's the fact that Kittle is off Achilles, Pearsall is out for the yr, and the other Wr competition is old-man Christian Kirk (who's already hurt) and 2nd rd rookie Stribling.

Kraft had 6 Tds in 7.5 games (left early 3rd quarter Wk 8). That's not sustainable. His average rec/gm slightly increased from 2.9 in '24, to 4.3 last yr. But without those crazy Tds his adp wouldn't be nearly where it is. Now off a serious knee injury... I'm not totally out on him, but I ain't in a hurry to get him at Te 8 - needs to fall a bit. For comparison in '24 he finished Te 15 ppg (ppr). For the record Kraft tore his ACL, but also had a "slight" meniscus tear and some LCL damage. Not that he can't recover from it, but it might cause a longer rehab. And the team might limit his snap count early in the season.

The top Rbs have been amazingly durable the past couple years, while top Wrs have gotten injured more often than in the past. Rbs have also been outscoring Wrs. The top 3 Rbs last yr averaged 385 pts, while the top 3 Wrs averaged 353 pts. They were closer in '24, though Rbs still had more. Much different than prior years when the best Wrs typically outscored the best Rbs by a wide margin. Sign on the times, or blip on the radar.?. Who knows.

Trying to parse Broncos Rb room makes my brain bleed. They clearly like Dobbins (and think he's healthy) signing him to a two-year $16 mil deal, $8 mil guaranteed. And he was a good runner with 5.0 ypc, decent yac and broken tackle rate. Though barely 1 rec per game hurts. Then Harvey... 3.7 ypc. But after Dobbins went down and Harvey took the reins... 2.9 ypc. Not good Bob. 47 rec helped... but 7 drops. Oddly inside-the-five, Dobbins had 7 car for 2 Tds (1.1 ypc). Harvey had 9 car for 5 Tds (1.9 ypc) along with 3 targets for 3 Tds. Trying to protect Dobbins from taking a goal line beating or went with the hot hand? Little of both? Now ya wonder what happens this year. Enter 4th rd pick Coleman. Supposedly a superb pass-blocker as Payton raved about. Something Harvey earned below avg grades per Pff. Almost seems the pick was a bit of an indictment against Harvey, along with insurance against another Dobbins injury. Dobbins is definitely the #1, but will they split more carries between the three to keep Dobbins healthy? Will he stay healthy? Who gets most goal line work? Are Harvey's receptions about to decline? Harvey's adp... Rb 29 Dobbins adp... Rb 33 Coleman's adp... Rb 53 Feels like there's gold to be mined, but hell if I know where to dig.

I thought for sure Nabers would start camp on the PUP and was guaranteed to miss at last 4 weeks, and possibly on a snap count a few weeks after. In that case there was no way I was drafting him even if he fell to the 4th rd. But stunningly Nabers wasn't on the PUP to start camp and now there's a chance he could be ready week 1. Though, nobody knows for sure. Gonna wait to see how things go and what his status really is as we get closer. I'm getting tempted, but ... I'm extremely nervous. Adp Wr 13 puts him early 3rd rd. That's pretty damn early to take on a massive risk.

Wilson's targets.... '22 - 147 '23 - 168 '24 - 154 '25 - on pace for 159 Geno might not be the greatest, but he's a hell of an upgrade over Fields. As for Wilson's knee injury last yr, didn't require surgery and should be good to go. Wilson's adp... Wr 16. I'd draft Stephen Hawking at that adp if he was guaranteed 150+ targets. I'm in.

We are 1000% back in. Let the competition keep believing ... "he's had 2 acl's, he'll never amount to anything." Reportedly both acl injuries were clean tears with no mcl or other damage. Might want to read what several actual sports doctors have to say. From I've read, "about 60% of athletes off two acl's return to prior form - and most that don't aren't totally washed, but usually pretty close to what they were." Brooks last surgery was on Jan 17, 2025... a clean acl tear recovery time is about 9 months (could've returned last yr). By the time Wk 1 rolls around it'll have been over 20 months. And he's returning to a team that can run the ball.... last yr Dowdle had 2.5 yds-before-contact. And that was before the o-line was upgraded with a 1st rd pick and free agents. Chuba seems to be nearing the end of his unimpressive career. Finally, Dowdle and Chuba combined for 89 passing targets... out of college Brooks was considered a very reliable receiver. Brooks is going in the 9th rd. There's a lot to like here. This lotto ticket could cash big.

Thomas adot last yr skyrocketed to 14.5 yds... a result of Meyers, Washington, Hunter and Strange working short stuff (to great affect). Why would Coen drastically tinker with an offensive game plan that worked so well last yr? And if he doesn't, how is Thomas gonna produce consistently with just moon-balls? BTJ's adp is now up to Wr 33 (ppr) and climbing. No thanks.

My friend had an autonomous Telsa. I rode with him and watched it drive... the first few minutes were scary as I had little faith in it. But after about ten minutes of it doing everything right, it's easy to see how people get complacent. Thing is my friend is a terrible driver, constantly texting and scanning his phone. Heard of the fasting thing as well, but never tried it. I unintentionally fast about 15 hours every day - bed at 10 pm, don't eat again til around 1 pm. Probably not long enough to get those ketones active, but better than over-eating. Seems most people (particularly Americans) won't tolerate feeling hungry. It's probably good for humans to feel hungry occasionally. This sounds like my Buddha-like philosophy. Wanting causes suffering. A person's happiness tends to be connected with their satisfaction or dissatisfaction of what they have compared to others. If most everyone on Earth drove a Lambo and all you had was a rusty old Pinto, you'd feel jipped. On the flip side if you were the only person on Earth who even owned a car, you'd be proud as hell of your pos Pinto. I get why those freaky monks renounce worldly possessions.

Yeah, that's the idea... but I hate that extra time is always a nice round number. Shouldn't it be say 6:37 sec? And from what I've read, they never account enough extra time for all the moments of dead ball time during a game. It's always low-balled. They also have to account for dead ball time during extra time, so they keep adding unknown amounts of time. As for letting plays finish out before blowing the whistle - exactly my point... there's no time left, yet the game continues. Like I said, nobody knows exactly when the game will end. You can guess within a minute or so, but without a clock, it's unknown to everyone except the ref.
