  2. I have the third pick in the draft in a 10 team league. I was offered the 4th (1st round) and 64th (7th round) pick for my 18th (2nd round) and 23rd (3rd round) picks. Thoughts?

    Trading draft picks

In a 12 team standard league with snake draft, would you trade the (#5 and #20) for the (#1 and #24) overall. All other picks would stay the same. This is my first league with snake draft that allows trading of picks, so any advice would be appreciated.
  4. Graham Murray Jeffery Bush J. Bell Crabtree Vareen RG3 L. Miller Terrance Williams Terrance West Brandin Cooks Deangelo Williams Andre Williams Andre Brown (dropping tomorrow and taking Bengals def with 1st waiver pick) Our league is pretty competitive and I'm pretty happy with my draft. What do you think? Also, who should I drop for a kicker? Btw the positions are: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE, DEF, K, 6 Bench.

    Who's #2?

I assume the vast majority of us will be taking Adrian Peterson with the first overall pick, PPR or not. However, second pick might not be as easy. Who should be the 2nd player off the board? Foster? Martin? Charles? Lynch? Rodgers? Calvin? Let the debating begin....
  6. I am waiting on QB. Under no real circumstance will I take Rodgers or Brees, or even Manning or Brady a little later. My question is, if I am waiting a while to take a QB, should I just wait all the way to Tony Romo or sacrifice a little bit and take Kaepernick a little earlier than I would take Romo? I just don't know how much I can trust Romo as my week in, week out starter. I am open for input.. Thanks!
  7. I have the number 2 pick today in a standard league. We start 1 QB 2 RBs 2 WR and 1 FLEX. Who should I take? Leave a link. Will help back.
  8. League is now full. Thank you for your interest.

    Using the Options Tab

I've been using draft buddy/FF Today for six years now and have always passed over the "options" tab, not exactly knowing how to make use of the "Overall Rankings/Custom Baselines" and "Average Projections / Allocation Keys" features to my advantage. I have left them alone, thinking it's over my head and I may unduly influence my rankings if I start jacking with this. I'm curious... 1) how to use this function/feature, 2) if it can be used to really improve the accuracy of my player rankings, and 3) does it really make a difference? I'm a loyal supporter of FFToday and have used draft buddy and the site during the season to 4 top 3 finishes, 2 trips to the finals and one championship in 6 years. It works. Can I make it work any better? Thanks for reading and for any help /suggestions. Steve Brandt Coppell, TX
  10. A few spots still open for our $125 draft TODAY at 5ET! First place gets $750, 2nd and 3rd get paid as well. Don't miss out on your chance to win the highest payouts with your fantasy football prowess at ApexFantasyLeagues.com! Can't make it? We also have a $70 draft TOMORROW at 5ET! First place gets $360, 2nd and 3rd are paid too. How does Apex ensure the best teams win? Glad you asked: Two Game Weeks Apex Fantasy Football Money Leagues require teams to play two games a week: one against a random opponent and one against the average. Against the average, the six highest scoring teams receive a win and the bottom six receive a loss. By playing two games a week, we significantly decrease impact of the random “strength of schedule” element. For more information on this topic, take a look at our Best Format page. Blind Bidding All Apex Fantasy Football Money Leagues have “blind bidding” free agency with each team receiving $500 in “blind bidding” money as the mechanism for acquiring free agents. This requires owners to not only place a monetary value on each free agent but to also judge the market wisely, for no one can see each other’s bids. This also forces owners to manage their money wisely and adds yet another element of strategy to Apex Fantasy Football Money Leagues. Deeper Roster While many fantasy leagues only require 8 players in your starting lineup, Apex Fantasy League require 10. By forcing owners to fill more positions, we help find owners more ways to differentiate their teams while rewarding owners for doing research and having deep knowledge about fantasy football. For additional information on lineups, visit our PPR Scoring page. We are also associated with MyFantasyLeague.com, the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, and Authorize.net to ensure our credibility as a fantasy football money leagues provider. 11. Hey guys I'm starting a new dynasty league over at http://realitysportsonline.com. QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, PK, DST, RB/WR/TE are the starting positions. It is standard scoring, standard rosters, 3 round rookie draft in which all rookies are signed to 3 yr contracts. You have 1-4yr contract, 2-3yr contracts, 3-2yr contracts, and you fill the rest of the roster with 1yr guys. Salary cap is 123million. Their system manages it all for you so no need to manually track your cap space going forward. $50 entry fee. $10 of that is for RSO and $40 goes toward the pot. Payout is 300-1st, 150-2nd, 50-3rd handled by leaguesafe.com. Half teams make the playoffs half of those get paid. Join here https://www.leaguesafe.com/join/1726275/wittyleaguename and here http://realitysportsonline.com/SearchLeagues.aspx. If you have any questions send them to caseyltr@charter.net. Thanks guys and as always peace, love, and TDs.
  12. We are looking for a few more people to fill a NCAA College Dynasty League. Preferrably people who plan on staying for a year to year basis. Some of the details are posted below and email me if interested. ------------------------------------------------------ Wanted to get out some information letting everyone know that we will be doing a league and get some of the general rules and ideas out before hand. Still finalizing the number of teams, still awaiting word from a few others, but it will either be a 10 or 12 team league (2 divisions of 5) or (3 divisions of 4). I have played in a similar format the last few years, I will be open to suggestion or ideas on the league as well. **We will be using fantrax.com (cbssports this year has gone to a pay for play site so we will use fantrax instead) **Entry fee approximately $50 **BCS schools and a few independents only **Starters 2 QBS, 3 RBS, 3 WRS, 1 TE, and 1 FLEX (RB/WR/TE) NO KICKER OR DEFENSES **Rosters 20-22 (because of redshirts and IR....may lean towards 22) **Limited in season Trading (will be a trade limit and an early trade deadline) **Limited off-season Trading **Keep as many players from year to year as you want.....only lose rights when they transfer outside eligible schools or turn pro. **Schedule and playoffs will be TBD....probably 6 teams eligible for playoffs (division winners along with wildcards) **Divisions will remain the same year to year and will be decided based Geographically or Theme based....Draft order will not have anything to do with Divisions and will be decided prior to the draft. **Draft will be via Email or a Live format or combination of both. We will decide as a group. Because it is a Dynasty League, want to make sure we get it right with whatever direction we go with the draft. I know of the guys listed on this email, we represent 4-5 different states along with vastly different schedules. If we did go an Email draft route, we would have stipulations tied into it.
  13. I'm starting up a brand new dynasty league. I went thru all the leagues I've played in and wanted to invite owners that have played in championship games (finished 1st and 2nd) in those leagues. Trying to get a bunch of competitive owners together in one league. League fees are $150. I want to do the draft within the next week. As soon as we get 12, I want to draft. If interested, please email me at icylee34@hotmail.com and I'll send you a copy of the rules and you can let me know if you'd like to join. The league name is League of Champions on MFL if you'd like to check out the site. Thanks. Icy aka Texas Boyz
