Larry Fitzgerald, and Michael Floyd will give the Bolts corners problems and Andre Ellington can catch passes out of the backfield. Rookie CB Jason Verrett is dealing with a shoulder injury, and the Chargers did little to bolster the 4th worst secondary in the NFL. Right now 40.5% of the nation is taking Foles as their Week 1 starter. Sure the Eagles will most likely destroy the Jags, but it's important to remember that the Eagles have LeSean McCoy, who led Philly to the top of the league in rushing yards. Philly was 27th in the league in passing attempts per game. Foles attempted 30+ passes in just 3 games and eclipsed 300 yards just twice.

I like how the flag was thrown for Drew Brees getting hit in the shoulder (Or Neck whichever way you see it) But, Jason Campbell gets annihilated by the Steelers defender and no question it was all head. No flag was thrown at all! Just a way to show yes the NFL is trying to protect the QB's. But, if your name isn't Brees, Manning, Brady, etc. Then they really aren't trying to protect you they only want to protect the big names that make them money. in the end its all about money, not the safety of players. Good job Goodell!!!

Don't miss out on this great pool... spread the word.. it would be great to have you play... What is an NFL Confidence Pool? Picks are made "straight up", not using a point spread system. Each pool member picks every NFL game for the week. In addition to picking the winning team, members must rank how confident they are that the team they picked will win. The more points assigned to a pick, the more confident they are that team will win. For each correct pick, they receive the number of points they assigned to that pick. Standings are calculated for the week and for the year-to-date. It will be a simple pool, $30 one time entry fee since this is the 1st season of doing it. The pay out will be at the end of the season 50/20/10. The final 20% will be divided evenly throughout the season to the winners according to the weekly standings. I usually run leagues on ESPN, but I wanted to check out NFL.com this year as well, so I'm hoping to put this league together. It is a 10 team, PPR league with 2 IDP Flex spots. It has custom scoring, but nothing outlandish or unusual. The draft is Friday (30th) @ 9PM EST. I don't care if you are experienced or a newcomer to fantasy football, I just want active owners. I prefer team names to be clean-cut (not vulgar), but I don't mind if it's a little bit questionable. I have #1 pick in a 12 team non ppr league and I know some people arent 100% on taking ADP #1 this year. If not.. tell me who you would take and why.

First time posting on here guys. Yesterday afternoon I took part in a live draft at a friends house, we were supposed to have 12 guys but 2 bailed so we rolled with 10. Needless to say some guys were not prepared lol. 6 points for all tds -2 for int 1pt=10 yards rushing and receiving QB- Luck, Romo RB- Charles, Forte, Sproles, Mathews, Woodhead, Hillman, TE- Graham WR- Fitz, Bowe, Garcon, Britt, Broyles DEF- NEW ENGLAND didnt pick a kicker because i wanted to scoop up Broyles last round. Im going to try and trade Mathews and Woodhead as a package probably. Thoughts and opinions appreciated!

Hey all, We are recruiting more to join our 3rd annual NFL Pick Em Pool! It functions all out of the website maximumfantasysports.com and uses point spreads. There will be WEEKLY and SEASON winners. If you haven't done one before, it's quite simple. You pick which team out of each game will cover the spread every week. If you have the most correct picks in the pool for any given week, you win! The top 3-4 pickers over the course of the entire season will win the majority of the pot, which has steadily increased over the past few years. It is a one time fee and it covers you for the entire season (if you do the math, it equates to a measly $5.88/week). Our cost to join the pool last year was $90 and it saw total prize money for season winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd places) total $2,600, not to mention we will have 1 weekly winner as well each week (Read below)!
