  1. E-mail petepeeves@yahoo.com ("pete," not "pet") if interested. Need 1-2 players. Scoring Settings: Default + 1-point PPR Rosters: QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, TE, FLEX, DEF NEW MANAGERS When a new manager enters the league, he or she will assume the draft position, roster (for the purposes of choosing keeper players), draft picks and division assignment of the outgoing manager. Teams will generally remain in the division to which they are originally assigned, though the commissioner may—for the purposes of generating interest and rivalry, or to prevent collusion—reassign teams from one division to the other. DRAFT AND DRAFT ORDER The draft is scheduled for Saturday September 2nd at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. Managers who fully participate in the draft will receive a $25 bonus to their $100 Free Agency Acquisition Budget (FAAB). The draft order for Year 1 will be randomized in advance of the draft. The order in subsequent years will be as follows: teams that miss the playoffs the prior year will draft in reverse order of the standings—the team with the worst record choosing first (the tiebreaker going to the team with fewer overall points)—and teams that make the playoffs will draft in the order in which they were first eliminated (by round), with the lower-seeded of the teams choosing first. Each subsequent round of the draft will go in reverse order of the round preceding it (a snaking draft). The draft is 18 rounds. SCHEDULES There are 10 teams divided into 2 divisions of 5 teams. Each team will play the other teams in its division twice for a total of 8 divisional games, and play each team in the other division once for a total of 5 games. PLAYOFFS Out of 10 teams 6 will make the playoffs. The 2 division winners will be granted a 1st-round bye. The remaining playoff teams will be seeded according to record. After the 1st round is complete, the teams will be reseeded, with the lowest remaining seed playing the highest remaining seed. Teams not in the playoffs or eliminated from the playoffs will not be permitted to make moves in free agency. ROSTER MOVES Teams are allotted 32 roster moves. Teams that are out of moves and are therefore unable to complete a lineup (because the player needed to fill a vacant slot has either been ruled out for the game or is not expected to play) will be granted an additional move (regular season only). This additional move will be afforded no sooner than 4 p.m. Eastern Saturday. Players on the Yahoo! Can’t Cut List cannot be cut. KEEPER RULES Each team may keep up to 5 players from one year to the next. For a player to be eligible he must have been on your roster at the prior season’s end. Final decisions on keeper players are due no sooner than the end of the 3rd week of the preseason and no later than one week prior to the draft. The commissioner will provide managers with an official due date. E-mail your keeper selections to the commissioner rather than posting them to the league page, as it is not advisable to share your selections with other managers. The commissioner will have finalized his own selections prior to receiving those of others. In order to keep a player, you must have a pick available that matches the player’s cost. You may not, in the absence of the appropriate pick, “pay more” by using an even higher pick. If you wish to keep more than one player with the same cost, you will need more than one pick in the round that matches this cost. Cost of keeping… Drafted Players The cost of keeping a drafted player is a pick 1 round earlier than that in which he was drafted. For example, if you drafted a player in the 5th-round, you may keep said player the next year for a 4th-round pick. You may keep such a player year after year until either you’ve owned the player for a period of 5 years (including the year in which you drafted him) or his cost has reached 1st-round status, after which you may no longer keep him—whichever happens first. Players drafted in the 1st round cannot be kept the following season. Undrafted Players The cost of keeping an undrafted player that you’ve signed in free agency is a 10th-round pick. If you choose to keep this player again, the cost is a 5th-round pick, at which time the cost increases by 1 round over the next 2 years should the player continue to be kept. An undrafted player you’ve signed can be owned thusly for a total of 5 years (including the year in which you first acquired him). Drafted Players Cut From Other Teams Players drafted in Round 2 or later and who are released may be acquired and kept one time for a pick 1 round later than that in which they were drafted (e.g., drafted 7th, kept for an 8th). Drafted Players Cut From Your Team If you have drafted a player and then cut him, only to later reacquire him, the player’s original draft status holds. You may still own said player for a total of 5 years (including the year in which you drafted him) or until he reaches the cost of a 1st-rounder, after which you may no longer keep him. This is provided that the player was not owned by another team in the interim (between when you cut him and reacquired him). In such a case, the rules from subsection “c” apply. You may keep the player for a pick one round later, and only keep him the one time. Drafted Players Acquired Via Trade If the player you acquire in a trade was drafted, then the rules from subsection “a” apply. If the player you acquire in a trade was undrafted, then the rules from subsection “b” apply. If the player you acquire in a trade was drafted, released, and then acquired by your trade partner, then the rules from subsection “c” apply. TRADES The trade deadline is the 28th of October. You are permitted to make 1 trade per season. Trades will be evaluated and either approved or rejected at the sole discretion of the commissioner, with an eye toward preventing collusion. Approved trades will not be fast-tracked upon review. If a trade is to be rejected, it will be so immediately upon review. The review period is 2 days. Draft picks (excluding those from the first 2 rounds) may be traded. Any trade deal involving picks must include an equal number of selections going from one team to the other (e.g., 2 picks for 2 picks). Round 1 and Round 2 draft picks may not be traded. Players chosen in Rounds 1 and 2 may not be traded. ROSTER MANAGEMENT (LINEUPS) Lineups must be completed each and every week with active players in each slot. This holds true even if it means making roster moves you’d prefer not make, such as might be the case when you have multiple players on bye. Draft and/or keep accordingly. Lineups left incomplete will be completed by the commissioner (in accordance with the guidelines that follow). If a lineup is deemed incomplete (as defined below) for a 3rd time, the manager of the team whose lineup is incomplete may be removed from the league, at which time the team and its lineup will be managed by the league (in accordance with the guidelines that follow). A lineup is deemed incomplete if 10 minutes prior to the start of the Sunday 1 o’clock (Easter Time) games, you have a vacant slot in your lineup. So, too, is a lineup incomplete if 10 minutes prior to the start of any game, you have in your lineup an inactive player whose team is playing in that game. LINEUP COMPLETION (ON BEHALF OF MANAGERS) When replacing an injured player or filling a vacant slot, the player on your bench with the most projected points for that week will be inserted into the lineup, provided there exists a player on your bench who can fill that position. If two or more suitable players share the same projection, ties will first be broken by % started (the player with the higher percentage being chosen) and then, if the tie persists, current rank. If there is not a player on your bench who is able to fill that position, a roster move will be made. The player or defense on your roster that has the fewest projected points remaining and isn’t needed for the lineup that week will be released. The exception: if there exists a second kicker on the roster, the lesser of the two kickers (in terms of projected points remaining) will be released ahead of a position player or defense. Players on the Can’t Cut List cannot be released. The free agent with the highest projection for that week and fills the position of need will be selected. If there is a tie among the highest-projected, the player with the better current rank will be selected. The would-be selection must be expected to play. Each move made on your behalf will count against your 32 allotted moves for the season. Lineup rules exceptions: You will not be charged with an incomplete lineup if you choose to take a chance on an injured player who has a shot at playing in his game—a game-time decision—even if that chance results in a roster slot you are unable to fill because the player is ultimately made inactive and you haven’t any other players to insert (such as might be the case in holding out hope for a player to play on Monday night). You will, however, be charged with an incomplete lineup if a player is made inactive, you do have possible replacements but you do not put one into your lineup (which results in a player being inserted on your behalf). If you log-in after your lineup has been completed for you and with time still to have completed it yourself, you can avoid the charge of an incomplete lineup by e-mailing me at petepeeves@yahoo.com prior to the start of the game or games in which the now-inserted player or players will take part, stating that you are, in fact, online, in time, and were about to make the change yourself. This, of course, applies to situations in which you find your lineup was completed in the same fashion you would have. If instead you log-on and change the already completed lineup to something else, such actions will be noticed by the commissioner and no such message need be written. With Thursday games, even if it is apparent that without inserting players into a Thursday game on your behalf you will not have enough players to later complete your lineup, empty slots are permitted, for you may be planning to make a roster move prior to Sunday’s action. Of course, if no roster move is made, then a roster move, or moves, will later be made for you. LINEUP COMPLETION (LEAGUE-MANAGED TEAMS) 1. No trade offers will be seen much less accepted. 2. Moves in free agency will be made after the waiver period has concluded (the team will not bid for free agents) and only if a move must be made to complete a lineup or if the only QB or K available for the lineup has been demoted to a backup role (provided a starting QB or K is available). 3. If a roster move becomes necessary, the player added will be the player with the most projected points remaining for the season (tiebreaker goes to the player with the better O-rank). The player added cannot be on bye. He must also, in terms of his injury status, be expected to play. The player dropped will be the player with the fewest projected points remaining (unless there exists a 2nd kicker on the roster, in which case the lesser of the two kickers—in terms of projected points remaining—will be dropped ahead of a position player or defense). If this player was needed for the lineup, another move will be made, and so on, until the lineup is complete. Roster moves will count against the 32 allotted moves. If a kicker is on bye or injured and needs to be replaced, he will be released ahead of anyone else on the team who may have fewer projected points remaining. 5. Moves for league-controlled teams will be made between 4 pm Eastern Saturday and 12 am Sunday. Any moves made during this window will hold (barring injury, suspension, or benching) even if projections later change. Additional moves may be made on Sunday morning if such a need exists. THINGS THAT MAY LEAD TO YOUR REMOVAL FROM THE LEAGUE 1. Failure to complete your lineup multiple times, as has already been detailed. 2. Complaints about the scoring system or league rules. You are given ample time to review all settings and all rules prior to committing to the league. Therefore I have no tolerance for complaints on these matters. However, if you, before the season, are curious as to the reasons behind a rule, I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. 3. Complaints in the draft room about how long the draft is taking or how long a particular individual is taking when making their selections. The draft only happens once a year. It is, I think, one of the best parts of the whole deal. Just let people take the time they need to do what they do. 4. Repeated stupid trade offers, like your worst for their best. Generally speaking, three-for-one deals are not looked upon too favorably, either, but such deals may get through provided a suspicion of collusion does not exist. 5. Complaints about rejected trades or, for that matter, approved trades. 6. Complaints, complaints, complaints

Passing tds 6pts a TD. 1 pt for every reception(ppr) email kmarsek@hotmail.com if interested Keeper rules Owners will keep one player drafted in rounds 1 through 7, and one player drafted in rounds 8 through 14. Owners will forfeit their draft pick for the corresponding round their keepers were drafted in the prior draft. All players previously drafted in rounds 1-7 will count as your first round keeper. All players drafted in rounds 8-16 will count as your late round keeper. All owners must designate their keeper selections for the upcoming season by Sunday, August 26, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time. Owners who fail to designate their keepers by the league deadline, will automatically retain their first and eighth round picks from the prior season. The owner will forfeit his, or her first and eighth round picks for the 2017 draft. If the first and eighth round picks from the prior season(s) are no longer on the owners roster, the highest rank player from round 1-7, and 8-16, will be deemed as keepers from rounds one and eight by default. Players who were not drafted and retained on rosters as a keeper will count towards the second half keeper selection and the tenth round pick in the draft. Owners may utilize a players services for up to three seasons. The players contract begins the season the player is drafted or acquired on waivers. Should an owner drop a player, the players contract continues while the player is on waivers. Should the player be picked up while on waivers, the new owner will inherit the players current contract. Example: Owner A has the rights to Tom Brady in year one of his contract and drops him. Owner B picks up Brady on waivers. Owner B can keep the right to Brady for two more seasons. Should an owner drop a player, and that player is not claimed during the waiver period, the players contract will expire and he will become a free agent. Another owner can claim the player as a free agent and the players contract will be renewed.(See example 1). However, if the original owner re-acquires the player within 30 days from the date the player was dropped, the original owner will pick up the players original contract. If the original owner re-acquires the player after the 30 day period, then he/she can keep the player under a new contract. (See example 2). Example 1: Owner A has the right to New Orleans Saints running back, Adrian Peterson. Peterson is in the second year of his contract. Owner A drops Peterson. Peterson is not picked up while on waivers. Owner B picks up Peterson as a free agent. Owner B now has the option of keeping Peterson for two more seasons as Petersons prior contract with Owner A expired when he became a free agent. Example 2: Owner A has the right to Rams running back, worthless Todd Gurley. Gurley is in the second year of his contract. Owner A drops Gurley on October 1st. Gurley is not picked up on waivers. Owner A re-acquires Gurley a free agent on October 14th. Gurley will remain in the second year of his contract with Owner A. If Owner A re-acquired Gurley on October 31st, Gurley contract would be reset to year one. Owner A can keep Gurley for two more seasons. Once again email me at kmarsek@hotmail.com.

  6. E-mail petepeeves@yahoo.com if interested. That's "pete" not "pet." League Constitution Review the league site for information on scoring and roster settings. NEW MANAGERS When a new manager enters the league, he or she will assume the draft position, roster (for the purposes of choosing keeper players), draft picks and division assignment of the outgoing manager. 6. Complaints, complaints, complaints.

  8. Looking or 2 replacement owners for a free 8th yr 14-team, IDP league on ESPN. Team 1 has the #1 pick in draft while team 2 has the #2 pick. Offline draft fast approaching. The league has had 7 different league champions since it's inception (nobody has won it more than obce so it's a pretty balanced league). Many of the owners are also in our dynasty baseball league (which has been dominated by 2 teams the last 8 years). The playoffs are like a Match Madness bracket and includes all the teams in the league so the winner has to run the playoff gauntlet. The top scoring team in 2017 finished 8th. The team with the best record in 2017 finished 4th. Winning the league is a challenge (as I said -- a different champion all 7 years) Keep (9) OFF players + (6) DEF players. You may keep (1) PK or P but it counts as an OFF player. --- TEAM ! - #1 over draft pick in 2018 (snake draft) - derelict owner last year so there's a reason why the team was last. Needs player upgrades + active owner who knows how to rebuild - Roster includes: QB Big Ben, Pit / QB Rivers, SD / RB Lynch, Oak / RB Peterson, NO (I know) / WR Crabtree, Oak / WR Lockett,Sea / WR Edleman, NE / TE Olsen, Car / + others LB: LB Whitehead, Det / LB Orr*, Bal / LB Brown, LAC / LB Floyd, Chi / DE Wake, Mia / S Jones, Dal / CB Peters, KC / CB Ramsey, Jax,/ + others TEAM 2 - #2 overall pick in 2018 (snake draft) - was replacement owner last year, not returning in 2018. Needs major IDP upgrades - Roster includes: QB Prescott, Dal / RB Dixon, Bal / RB Bernard, Cin / RB Perkins, NYG / RB Smallwood, Phi / WR Bryant, Dal / WR Fitzgerald, Ari / Te Ebron, Det / WR Brown, Pit / + others LB Miller, Den / LB barron, LAC / LB Hightower, NE / LB Trevethan, Chi / DE Folwer Jr, Jax / CB Hargreaves, TB / CB GJraham, Buf / S Conte, TB / + others --- Anyway, have 2 teams that need skilled owner at rebuilding teams. Would consider trading you my LM team (7th last yr but 3rd most pts scored) and taking one of these teams. Email me at racestatsnet@yahoo.com
  9. Now that we know where players went I think we will see more movement in leagues that draft rookies... for my part I just moved: 1.01 1.04 and I received: DeVonta Freeman (I have coleman) 1.05 1.08 2017 1st rounder Jay Cutler (I only have rivers on my roster) so... that is what E. Elliot can get you in a 26 man dynasty league... jdon ps. I don't care about 1.4/1.5 because I have a solid top five, in order: elliot, treadwell, thomas, doctson, coleman
  10. Our keeper league is in its 15th season, but as life responsibilities intrude we find ourselves in need of some fresh talent to keep things going. The keeper system is a little different. You can keep as many or few players as you like, but in order to keep a player they must be drafted at least 3 rounds earlier than they were taken the year before. So for the most part studs go back in the draft, but you can control a break out player for a few years. On average, between 2 and 3 players are kept per team. $20 bonus FAAB for any team that chooses no keepers. Scoring is custom. 6 for all TDs, 1 per 20 rush/rec yards, 1 per 50 pass, bonuses for big yardage, -3 for TOs. Team DEF, which also get 3 for TOs and are a little more important than standard Yahoo. QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, TE, DEF, K. We have 2 very competitive teams available. Keepers are due by Thursday evening. Team 1: Drafts 5th of 12 Can keep Cam Newton 7th round Team 2: Drafts 2nd Can keep Latavius Murray 7th round If you're interested, email icgcac@gmail.com with your invite e-mail and your preference of which team you'd like to take over. Thanks for your interest.

    2 Man Keeper PPR

Hey Guys, First time poster long time follower. I need help deciding on which 1 to keep along side of Julio Jones in our PPR Keeper RB-L'Bell, QB-RWilson, WR(s)-ARobinson, JLandry, EDecker, GTate I was leaning toward L'Bell in hopes he'd have his 4 game suspension reduced but that may not happen before I need to submit our Keepers tomorrow by 8p. Thinking of ARobinson but would like to get your thoughts. Thanks!
  13. KRK

    Who would you keep?

I need two. I was thinking of keeping Matthews and CJ Anderson. I have the 5th pick in a 12 team ppr. Cooper 3rd Sammy Watkins 5th Jordan Matthews 6th CJ Anderson 9th Gronk 1st Latavious Murray 2nd
  14. I am starting to think about who i want to keep this year in my 12 team .5 PPR 6 Pts TD bonus for long TD - 2 Keeper league. I am keeping David Johnson for my fifth round pick but for my second keeper which do you like better and why: ODB as my 1st round pick Deandre as my 3rd round Jordy as my 12th round I am slated to pick 9th in a serpentine draft. I am leaning toward Jordy for the immense value but ODB/NUK could get the nod because of age and ability to keep them longer term beyond next year. Jordy at 32 will likely have less years left. One twist is if I keep someone past a 2nd season I have to keep them as a 1st rounder. I kept ODB last year as a 5th but now he costs me a 1st. Ill answer yours thanks!

  21. standard 1/2 ppr scoring start qb, 2rb, 2wr, te, flex, k, def, IR $100 cap, $100 FA budget You can keep up to three players for a total of three years each for the same price as they were drafted/obtained through FA. ex: if I pay $15 for jordy through waivers, I can keep him 2016/17 and 17/18 for $15 each year. We all forgot to draft jordy nelson as a keeper (long story, but duh) so now he is on waivers. How much should I bid on him? For reference the top 10 receivers went for between $20-30 at the draft.
  22. 10 Team 1/2 PPR league, 6 point for all TDs, standard yardage scoring. 1 Player keeper league (Kept Rodgers from last year). Start: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 DST, 1 K. QB - Rodgers, Stafford RB - Ingram (NO), Gore (IND), Hyde (SF), D. Johnson (CLE), WR - Brown (PIT), Adams (GB), Wallace (MIN), Boldin (SF), Colston (NO) TE - Witten (DAL), D. Allen (IND) D/ST - Seahawks, Eagles K - Eagles What do you think?

I've been playing in a competitive league for about 10 years now, 12 team league. Recently we had a rule change to allow teams to keep 1 player on their roster and not draft a player in the first round. Our scoring is 1/2 PPR, big play bonuses, and weighted towards QB's and DST scoring. I drafted second overall, we redraw our draft position every 2 rounds. I took Rodgers second overall after Luck was gone (QB heavy scoring). Start 8 players, Manditory 1 QB, 1 DST, 1K, minimum 1 RB (up to 4), minimum 1 WR or TE (up to 4). QB - Rodgers (GB) & Stafford (DET) RB - Forsett (BAL), C. Hyde (SF), Bernard (CIN), Ivory (NYJ) WR - Cobb (GB), A. Jeffrey (CHI), Allen (SD), White (ATL), Williams (DAL) DST - Eagles, Panthers K - Eagles, Steelers Draft Strategy, our big-play bounus, 1/2 PPR format actually really favours comboing up a top QB and WR combo can be mega-points for a long TD. A lot of teams matched up the top QB with the top WR on their team. I'd have loved Nelson-Rodgers, but of course Nelson is hurt. Cobb seems like a worthy replacement. Thoughts? Rate mine and i'll rate yours, post a link!
