Rank all 12 NFL teams competing in the NFL Playoffs from strongest (12 points) to weakest (1 point). All picks must be in before the first playoff game starts and cannot be changed once the games are underway. Members are awarded the number of points assigned to an NFL team when that team wins. Here are some more details about the playoff pool... what you will do is rank the 12 teams from 12-1. 12 being the highest, 1 the lowest. Whatever you rank your team that is the amount of points they get if they win. For example, if the colts win, and you ranked them 10, they get 10 points. Every time they win and move on they get 10 points. You rank once and only once. If a team you ranked loses, they are just out and your rankings stay the same and you only get points for the winning teams. Teams with bye weeks do not get points that week. So you have to be strategic in your initial ranking as it again, is the only time you will rank and that will decide your points throughout the playoffs. If we get enough people and a big enough pot, I would like to do 50/30/10. But if we do not then it will be winner take all. The tie decision is made by final score total points of the super bowl, which when you rank, you will plug those in as well. We only have until Saturday by start of the 1st game to get everyone joined and playing.. So, please do not wait until the last minute. $30 to join. No buying back, just solid $30 to play. You can create 3 teams each at $30 a team. Buy backs = more $$... Don't miss out.. week 1 is quickly approaching... $20 to enter. Each week you pick 1 team. Once you pick a team you can never pick them again the rest of the season. Except playoffs. If your team for the week wins, you move on to the next week.. you do not have to pay again if you keep winning... but if your team loses, you will be out of the pool all together, UNLESS you buy back in for another $20 (each time). You can buy back in up until week 6 which means, after week 6, if you lose, you are out, no more buying back in. A revival pool ($5) will start come week 6 for losers and anyone else. If you do not get your picks in on time for the week, the website will automatically choose the LOWEST RANKING team as your pick for you. Deadline for joining will be start of game time week 1. This will go on week after week until we have a LAST MAN STANDING... 1 person will get the jackpot. If for some reason there is a tie by the end, the 2 can decide to continue on or split the pot. BUT, if there are 3 or more.. no splitting pot.. gotta go on.. max 3 teams per player, $20 per team. Anyone can bet on a player to win... try betting on the whole team. Do you have the confidence? Week one is fast approaching.. Don't miss out on this great pool... spread the word.. it would be great to have you play... What is an NFL Confidence Pool? Picks are made "straight up", not using a point spread system. Each pool member picks every NFL game for the week. In addition to picking the winning team, members must rank how confident they are that the team they picked will win. The more points assigned to a pick, the more confident they are that team will win. For each correct pick, they receive the number of points they assigned to that pick. Standings are calculated for the week and for the year-to-date. It will be a simple pool, $30 one time entry fee since this is the 1st season of doing it. The pay out will be at the end of the season 50/20/10. The final 20% will be divided evenly throughout the season to the winners according to the weekly standings. We are recruiting more to join our 3rd annual NFL Pick Em Pool. It functions all out of the website maximumfantasysports.com and uses point spreads. There will be WEEKLY and SEASON winners. If you haven't done one before, it's quite simple. You pick which team out of each game will cover the point spread every week. If you have the most correct picks in the pool for any given week, you win. The top 3-4 pickers over the course of the entire season will win the majority of the pot, which has steadily increased over the past few years. All the details are below: WEEKLY WINNERS: Each and every week, the person that has the most Wins will make money for that week. The actually amount per week will be the same amount each and every week. This amount will be determined by league participation and will immediately thereafter be posted on our league message board (the amount will be somewhere close to the buy in amount of $100). So essentially you will break close to even if you win 1 week. WEEKLY TIE BREAKERS: If there is a tie between numerous teams, the tiebreaker will go to Monday Night Total Points, which you will input when making your picks. If there is still a tie, then the tiebreaker will go to Monday Night home team points. If the tie persists, then the tie breaker will go to Monday Night away team points. **VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ OR YOU’LL BE CRYING LATER** I can’t stress this enough, so read this very carefully gang… ALL PICKS FOR ALL GAMES EACH WEEK MUST BE MADE BEFORE THE FIRST GAME STARTS. If you fail to make your picks before the start of the first game of a week, the system will automatically auto-pick for you by choosing all the favorites. If you fail twice, you are covered by the auto-pick system. However, if you fail to make your picks three times or more, you will automatically receive 0 Wins for that week and all weeks beyond your second time. If you fail and get 0 Wins, it is out of our control, and we don’t have the ability to change anything. So beware of when the first game of each week begins! It will usually be on a Thursday evening **BOTTOM LINE – MAKE YOUR PICKS BEFORE THURSDAY EVENING OR YOU’RE…… S.O.L.!!!!!!!!!!!!!** SEASON WINNERS The top 3-4 people with the most wins will make money. Again, the amounts will be dependent on the total number of players. I can safely say that first place will receive a minimum of $1,300. This is a conservative estimate; the amount will probably be a lot more! The amounts for all 3-4 winners will be posted on this message board immediately after the first game of the season! COST TO JOIN: An amount of $100 is incurred to join the Super Pool League. It is a one time fee and it covers you for the entire season (if you do the math, it equates to a measly $5.88/week). Our cost to join the pool last year was $90 and it saw total prize money for season winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd places) total $2,600, not to mention we will have 1 weekly winner as well each week (Read below)!
